Bruins' Pavel Zacha: Puts away power-play goal
Zacha scored a power-play goal on two shots in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Sabres in Game 2.
Zacha has a goal, an assist, three shots and two hits over two playoff games so far. Both of his points have come on the power play, where he's seeing time on the first unit. The 29-year-old had a career year in the regular season with 30 goals and 65 points across 78 appearances. Zacha is in the playoffs for the fourth time in his career -- over the previous three postseason runs, he totaled a goal and 12 points in 25 contests.

Morgan Geekie C | BOS
Bruins' Morgan Geekie: Scores fluky goal
Geekie scored a goal and added two PIM in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Sabres in Game 2.
Geekie's tally came from the neutral zone, with the puck evading Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen on what should have been a harmless shot. Those are the kinds of bounces a player who shot 21.5 percent in the regular season can get. Geekie has earned four points over two playoff outings and has a total of seven goals and two assists across his last six games.

Jason Dickinson C | EDM
Oilers' Jason Dickinson: Game-time call Wednesday
Dickinson (undisclosed) is a game-time decision for Game 2 against Anaheim on Wednesday, per Jason Gregor of Sports 1440 Edmonton.
Dickinson was also a game-time call ahead of Game 1 on Monday. He ended up playing a huge role in that clash, scoring two goals in 12:01 of ice time. Curtis Lazar will probably draw into the lineup if Dickinson can't play.

Yakov Trenin C | MIN
Wild's Yakov Trenin: Considered game-time decision
Trenin (upper body) is considered a game-time decision for Wednesday's Game 3 against the Stars.
Trenin sustained an upper-body injury during Monday's Game 2 against Dallas, and he'll be monitored in the hours leading up to Wednesday's puck drop before the Wild determine his status. If he's unable to suit up in Game 3, Robby Fabbri and Nico Sturm are candidates to enter the lineup.

Noah Ostlund C | BUF
Sabres' Noah Ostlund: Might be available for Thursday
Ostlund (upper body) might be able to play in Game 3 against Boston on Thursday, per Jourdon LaBarber of the Sabres' official site.
Ostlund had 11 goals and 27 points in 60 regular-season appearances with Buffalo in 2025-26. He missed the Sabres' final 10 regular-season games and their first two playoff outings due to the injury. Jordan Greenway might be a healthy scratch if Ostlund is available Thursday.

Casey Mittelstadt C | BOS
Bruins' Casey Mittelstadt: Two helpers Tuesday
Mittelstadt picked up two assists Tuesday during the Bruins' 4-2 win over the Sabres in Game 2 of their first-round series.
The 27-year-old had a hand in both of Viktor Arvidsson's tallies on the night early in the second and third periods, as Mittelstadt got some revenge against the team he made his NHL debut with back in 2017-18. Mittelstadt had a sluggish finish to the regular season, managing one goal and two points over his last eight games, but he's still skating in a top-six role for Boston and could provide a spark in the playoffs after recording 15 goals and 42 points in 71 regular-season contests.

Jacob Gaucher C | PHI
Flyers' Jacob Gaucher: Up from minors
Gaucher was called up by Philadelphia on Wednesday.
Gaucher is expected to serve as a Black Ace, which means he'll be around the team and attend practices for the experience, but the 25-year-old isn't expected to draw into any playoff games. Gaucher finished the 2025-26 regular season with 20 goals, 36 points and 44 PIM in 69 outings with AHL Lehigh Valley, as well as four shots and three hits in four appearances with Philadelphia.

Nazem Kadri C | COL
Avalanche's Nazem Kadri: Plucks apple Tuesday
Kadri logged an assist in Tuesday's 2-1 overtime win over the Kings in Game 2.
Kadri missed the last five games of the regular season due to a broken finger. The 35-year-old center is filling a third-line role to begin the playoffs, though he could shuffle up to the top six if the Avalanche run into adversity or injury troubles. Between Calgary and Colorado in the regular season, he produced 50 points, 213 shots on net and a minus-30 rating over 77 appearances. Kadri is a veteran of seven previous postseason runs, in which he collected 19 goals and 44 points over 52 appearances, including 15 points over 16 contests when the Avalanche won the Stanley Cup in 2022.

Nicolas Roy C | COL
Avalanche's Nicolas Roy: Plays hero in overtime
Roy scored the game-winning goal, added three hits and blocked three shots in Tuesday's 2-1 overtime win over the Kings in Game 2.
The goal was Roy's first since March 22 versus the Capitals, which was the last game he played prior to an upper-body injury. He had two assists over the last six games of the regular season, giving him a total of 25 points across 74 appearances between Colorado and Toronto for the year. Roy will likely occupy a bottom-six role for much of this postseason. In previous playoff runs, the veteran forward has earned 10 goals and 32 points over 79 appearances over five postseasons, including the Golden Knights' 2023 Stanley Cup championship.

Jack Eichel C | LV
Golden Knights' Jack Eichel: Adds pair of helpers
Eichel logged two assists, including one on the power play, and added two PIM in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Mammoth in Game 2.
Eichel didn't get on the scoresheet in the playoff opener Sunday, but he bounced back by helping out on goals for Mark Stone and Ivan Barbashev in this contest. The 29-year-old Eichel is locked in as the Golden Knights' top center after a 90-point effort over 74 regular-season contests. That includes 28 power-play points, and he added 260 shots on net and a plus-23 rating. Eichel is in his fourth career playoff run, and over 40 postseason appearances prior to this year, he had a total of 10 goals and 43 points, including a league-best 26 points in 22 games when Vegas won the Stanley Cup in 2023.
