  • Kings' Anze Kopitar: Won't play Friday

Kopitar (lower body) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Jets, NHL.com reports.

Kopitar will be unavailable for a second consecutive matchup due to a lower-body injury. He's considered day-to-day, but it's not yet clear whether he'll be able to suit up in the second half of the back-to-back set Saturday against Edmonton.

Rangers' J.T. Miller: Logs assist in return

Miller notched an assist, three shots on goal and two hits in 20:24 of ice time in Thursday's 5-2 loss to the Sabres.

Miller was able to take a full workload in his first game back after missing seven contests due to an upper-body injury. The 32-year-old should be a lock for top-six usage and minutes in all situations moving forward. He's produced 23 points, 80 shots, 76 hits and a minus-12 rating across 36 outings this season.

  • Rangers' Vincent Trocheck: Finds twine in loss

Zibanejad's goal got the Rangers on the board at 9:34 of the second period. He's earned four goals and five assists over his last four contests for one of his best stretches of the campaign. Overall, the 32-year-old center has produced 16 goals, 38 points, 118 shots on net, 67 hits, 31 blocked shots and a minus-12 rating through 44 appearances. That puts him on track to top the 70-point mark after being limited to 62 points in 82 outings in 2024-25.

  • Ducks' Ryan Poehling: Scores in Thursday's loss

Poehling scored a goal and blocked four shots in Thursday's 5-2 loss to the Hurricanes.

  • Noah Laba C | NYR

Rangers' Noah Laba: Game-time call for Saturday

Jankowski scored a goal on three shots in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Ducks.

Jankowski was scratched Tuesday versus the Stars but drew back in for Noah Philp (concussion). The 31-year-old Jankowski continues to fill a fourth-line role when he's in the lineup, which is far from guaranteed to happen every game. He's at three goals, seven points, 32 shots on net, 24 blocked shots and 21 hits over 32 appearances this season.

  • Capitals' Aliaksei Protas: Game-time decision Friday

Protas (lower body) will be a game-time decision in Chicago on Friday, per Bailey Johnson of The Washington Post.
