  • Avalanche's Alex Barre-Boulet: Pots pair for AHL club

Barre-Boulet scored two goals in AHL Colorado's 5-2 win over Tucson on Sunday.

Barre-Boulet continues to be among the most consistent AHL scorers, and he's up to six goals and 15 points through 18 outings this season. He's topped the 60-point mark in four of his eight campaigns in the AHL, and he could push for similar production this year. He's yet to show the same level of scoring in the NHL, and at 28 years old, he's unlikely to get a call-up unless the Avalanche face a rough stretch of injuries.

  • Rory Kerins C | CGY

Flames' Rory Kerins: Three-point outing Sunday

Kerins scored twice and added an assist in AHL Calgary's 5-4 overtime win over Coachella Valley on Sunday.

He got a brief stint in the NHL as a reward for his strong start to the year, but Kerins was bumped back to the minors when the Flames claimed John Beecher. That hasn't discouraged Kerins, who has five points over three games since he returned to the Wranglers. The forward is at seven goals, 19 points, 40 shots on net and a plus-2 rating through 16 AHL appearances. He should be an option for call-ups later in the year if the Flames need to replenish their depth.

  • Avalanche's Tristen Nielsen: Optioned to minors

Nielsen was reassigned to AHL Colorado on Sunday.

Nielsen recorded his first career NHL point in Sunday's 1-0 win over the Blackhawks. The 25-year-old had the lone helper on Cale Makar's ninth goal of the season at the 18:21 mark of the second period. Considering the Avalanche currently have four injured forwards on the roster, Nielsen will probably be summoned from the minors again ahead of Wednesday's home game versus the Sharks.

  • Ryan McLeod C | BUF

Sabres' Ryan McLeod: Pair of helpers Sunday

McLeod distributed two assists and blocked two shots in Sunday's 4-1 win over Carolina.

McLeod had the primary helper on each of the Sabres' first two goals, scored by Alex Tuch and Jack Quinn. With the pair of apples, McLeod is up to eight assists, 13 points and 31 shots on net through 22 games this season. After an up-and-down start to the season, the 26-year-old center is on the rise again with back-to-back multi-point performances. He's been a strong developing option for the Sabres over the past two seasons and is on track to challenge last season's career high of 53 points. With both Josh Norris (upper body) and Jiri Kulich (ear) on injured reserve, McLeod should continue to skate top-six minutes for the Sabres, which gives him decent fantasy value in deep leagues.

  • Sabres' Tage Thompson: Goal streak at six games

Thompson scored an empty-net goal and placed two shots on target in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Hurricanes.

Thompson's empty-net tally brought his goal streak up to six games. With the twine finder, the 28-year-old center has 12 goals, 21 points and 84 shots on net through 22 appearances this season. During his impressive run of play, he has six goals and nine points in his last six contests. Thompson's shooting percentage has skyrocketed during the goal streak and currently sits at 14.1 percent, which is close to his career average. Fantasy managers who drafted him have been rewarded for their patience, as Buffalo's top-line center has shown no signs of slowing down lately. Regardless of when his streak ends, Thompson could be on his way to hitting the 80-point mark for the second time in his career if he can stay healthy.

  • Wild's Vinnie Hinostroza: Deemed week-to-week

Head coach John Hynes said Sunday that Hinostroza is week-to-week due to a lower-body injury, Joe Smith of The Athletic reports.

Hinostroza was hurt in Friday's 5-0 win over Pittsburgh. The 31-year-old will now miss some time as a result, which means Tyler Pitlick could see more regular playing time in the short term. Hinostroza has accounted for two goals, three helpers and a minus-5 rating across 22 games this campaign.

  • Kirby Dach C | MON

Canadiens' Kirby Dach: Moves to IR

Dach (foot) was placed on injured reserve Sunday, per the NHL media site.

Dach has missed the last three games and could be out until late December. He has five goals, two assists, 22 shots on net, 15 blocked shots and 21 hits across 15 appearances this season.

  • Canadiens' Alexandre Texier: Signs one-year deal

Texier signed a one-year, $1 million contract with Montreal on Sunday, Pierre LeBrun of TSN reports.

Texier didn't have to wait long to land with a new team after having the final season of his two-year, $4.2 million contract terminated by the Blues on Sunday. He has earned one assist, seven shots on net, one blocked shot and nine hits across eight appearances this season. Injuries to Kirby Dach (foot), Alex Newhook (ankle) and Patrik Laine (abdomen) should give Texier a chance to earn a regular spot in the lineup with the Canadiens.

  • Islanders' Jean-Gabriel Pageau: Week-to-week with injury

Pageau has suffered an upper-body injury and is week-to-week, the Islanders announced Sunday.

The news is relatively unexpected considering the fact that Pageau played a full workload in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Blues. The 33-year-old has been playing well this season, registering 12 points (six goals, six assists) in 22 games. Injuries haven't been a major issue for Pageau lately; he's played at least 70 games in each of the last five seasons.

  • Bruins' Elias Lindholm: Removed from IR

Lindholm (lower body) was activated from injured reserve Sunday.

Following a 10-game absence, Lindholm should return to the lineup against San Jose on Sunday. He has produced four goals, nine points, 22 shots on net, 14 blocked shots and 19 hits across 13 appearances this season.
