  • Ross Colton C | COL

Avalanche's Ross Colton: Gets empty-netter in return

Colton scored an empty-net goal in Tuesday's 6-2 win over the Penguins.

Colton capped the scoring for the Avalanche in his return from a six-game absence due to an upper-body injury. The 29-year-old slotted onto the second line, but he may move down to the third line once Artturi Lehkonen (upper body) and Nicolas Roy (upper body) are healthy. Colton has been limited to nine goals, 24 points, 138 shots on net, 138 hits and a plus-13 rating over 61 appearances this season, down from 29 points in the same number of regular-season outings a year ago.

  • John Tavares C | TOR

Maple Leafs' John Tavares: Reaches 60-point mark again

Tavares logged three assists, including two on the power play, and two shots on goal in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Bruins.

Tavares has earned three goals and eight assists over 12 outings in March. The 35-year-old center is doing his part on offense in the absence of Auston Matthews (knee/quad), though it's too little and too late to change Toronto's fate this year. Tavares reached the 60-point mark Tuesday, a level he's hit in all but three years of his 17-season career, with two of the exceptions being shortened campaigns in 2012-13 and 2020-21, and the other being his rookie year. Tavares also has 175 shots on net, 62 hits and a minus-26 rating over 72 contests in 2025-26.

  • Canucks' Elias Pettersson: Hits 500-point mark in career

Pettersson registered two power-play assists and two PIM in Tuesday's 5-3 loss to the Ducks.

Just a week after reaching the 200-goal mark in his career, Pettersson has earned his 300th assist and 500th point. He accomplished the milestone in 533 regular-season contests, though he has struggled in the last two years to match the potential he showed early in his career. This season, the 27-year-old center is at 15 goals, 28 helpers, 108 shots on net, 96 blocked shots, 55 hits and a minus-21 rating over 62 appearances, production nearly identical to what he did in 2024-25.

  • Leo Carlsson C | ANA

Ducks' Leo Carlsson: Earns two more assists

Carlsson provided two assists, three shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Canucks.

Carlsson helped out on a Mikael Granlund tally in the second period and Troy Terry's empty-netter late in the third. This was Carlsson's second two-assist effort in a row, giving him three goals and five helpers over his last five contests. The Swedish center is up to the 60-point mark for the first time in his three-year career, and he's added 153 shots on net, 31 PIM, 20 blocked shots and a plus-3 rating across 59 appearances.

  • Ducks' Mason McTavish: Scores in Tuesday's win

McTavish scored a goal on three shots and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Canucks.

McTavish had gone 14 games without a goal prior to Tuesday. He was scratched twice in that span and also missed five games in January due to an upper-body injury. The 23-year-old center's inconsistency on offense lately makes him risky for fantasy, especially since head coach Joel Quenneville has had McTavish buried on the fourth line. For the season, McTavish is at 14 goals, 34 points, 124 shots on net, 77 hits, 31 blocked shots and 40 PIM over 64 appearances.

  • Ducks' Mikael Granlund: Scores twice Tuesday

Granlund scored two goals, including one on the power play, in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Canucks.

Granlund has shaken off the rust following his upper-body injury coming out of the Olympics. He's scored four goals over the last three games, which has been enough to help him reclaim a top-six job. The 34-year-old is up to 16 goals, 31 points (seven on the power play), 93 shots on net and a minus-10 rating over 47 appearances. If he can keep the offense rolling, Granlund should be on the radar for fantasy managers late in the season.

  • Mammoth's Alex Kerfoot: Opens scoring in loss

Kerfoot scored a goal on two shots, added two hits and went minus-2 in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Oilers.

Kerfoot had gone eight games without a goal, though he had three assists in that span. The 31-year-old forward is playing in the bottom six, which makes it tough for him to be a regular contributor on offense. For the season, he's earned seven points, 19 shots on net, 21 hits, 18 blocked shots, 23 PIM and a minus-2 rating through 24 appearances.

  • Penguins' Rickard Rakell: Back on score sheet

Rakell scored a goal Tuesday in a 6-2 loss to Colorado.

It was his 15th of the season. Rakell had his eight-game, 10-point scoring streak snapped Sunday, so it's great that he's back on the score sheet. The Pens dropped to third in the Metropolitan Division with the loss, and they're just one point ahead of the Islanders, who are fourth. Rakell is one of the scoring leaders on the team, and he'll need to keep this pace up over the stretch to help secure the playoff spot.

  • Oilers' Matt Savoie: Buries shorthanded goal

Savoie scored a shorthanded goal on four shots and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Mammoth.

Savoie has earned two goals and two assists over his last six games. The 22-year-old is playing in a top-line role and sees ice time in all situations, making him an ideal pick-up for the fantasy playoffs. He's up to 12 goals, 29 points, 108 shots on net, 34 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating over 72 outings this season, including five power-play points and two shorthanded goals.

  • Oilers' Jack Roslovic: Tallies twice in win

Roslovic scored a pair of goals on four shots and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 5-2 win over the Mammoth.

Roslovic got the Oilers on the board in the first period and put them up 4-2 in the second with his second tally. The 29-year-old had been limited to three points over his first 10 games in March before this breakout performance. He's now at 19 goals, 31 points, 123 shots on net, 32 hits and a minus-8 rating over 59 appearances. Roslovic matched his career high with 22 goals in 81 regular-season outings for the Hurricanes last year, and he could push to match that number if he finishes strong in 2025-26.
