Philip Tomasino C | PHI
Penguins' Philip Tomasino: Waived by team
Tomasino was waived by the Penguins on Tuesday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.
Tomasino has struggled this season, notching just one assist in nine appearances while averaging 12:10 of ice time. Still, the 24-year-old forward notched 11 goals and 12 assists in 50 regular-season games with the Penguins last year and could draw some interest on the waiver wire. Potentially moving Tomasino to AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton could be an indication that one of the Pens' injured forwards is ready to return, or it could be a sign somebody else will be coming up from the minors.

Ryan Nugent-Hopkins C | EDM
Oilers' Ryan Nugent-Hopkins: Not traveling with team
Nugent-Hopkins (undisclosed) isn't traveling with the Oilers for their upcoming three-game road trip, per Jason Gregor of Sports 1440 Edmonton on Tuesday.
Nugent-Hopkins is expected to practice with the team Monday in Edmonton following the road trip, and Gregor speculates that a return to the lineup Nov. 29 in Seattle makes the most sense. The 32-year-old forward has missed five straight games and was placed on injured reserve Nov. 10. Nugent-Hopkins has accounted for five goals, 16 points (nine on the power play) and a minus-11 rating through 16 appearances in 2025-26.

John Beecher C | CGY
Flames' John Beecher: Snagged off waivers
Beecher was claimed off waivers by the Flames on Tuesday, Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet reports.
Beecher is coming off an upper-body injury, which the Bruins may have believed would disuade teams from putting in a claim. Instead of heading to AHL Providence, the 24-year-old center will be shipping off to Calgary, where he figures to slot into a bottom-six role. With Beecher in the fold, the Flames will likely return Sam Morton to AHL Calgary.

Mark Jankowski C | CAR
Hurricanes' Mark Jankowski: Tickles twine in win
Jankowski scored the game-winning goal in Monday's 3-1 win over the Bruins.
Jankowski's first goal of the season put the Hurricanes ahead 2-0 in the second period. The 31-year-old looks to have a path to playing time again while Jesperi Kotkaniemi (ankle) is out of action. In a part-time role this year, Jankowski has put up three points, seven shots on net, six blocked shots, six PIM and a plus-3 rating through 10 outings.

Jordan Staal C | CAR
Hurricanes' Jordan Staal: Opens scoring Monday
Staal scored a goal on two shots and added five hits in Monday's 3-1 win over the Bruins.
Staal struck the opening blow in a battle between two of the Eastern Conference's top teams so far. He's scored in back-to-back games now, following a stretch of 12 outings in which he was limited to two assists. The 37-year-old center is up to five goals, two helpers, 23 shots on net, 36 hits, 23 PIM, 11 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating through 19 appearances.

Tyson Kozak C | BUF
Sabres' Tyson Kozak: Gathers assist Monday
Kozak notched an assist in Monday's 5-1 win over the Oilers.
This was Kozak's first point in six games since he returned from missing five contests due to a lower-body injury. The 22-year-old forward has three points, 10 shots on net, 33 hits and an even plus-minus rating over 13 appearances this season. He's mostly been in a bottom-six role, though he saw a season-high 15:50 of ice time Monday, which could be an indication that his standing in the Sabres' lineup is trending upward.

Tage Thompson C | BUF
Sabres' Tage Thompson: Deposits empty-netter
Thompson scored an empty-net goal on three shots in Monday's 5-1 win over the Oilers.
Thompson's heater continues -- he's produced four goals and three assists over his last five games. The Sabres have won back-to-back contests, and Thompson's offense staying hot will help the team find some consistency in an Atlantic Division where every team is within a six-point range in the standings. The 28-year-old center has nine goals, 17 points, 75 shots, 26 hits and a minus-5 rating through 19 appearances this year.

Logan Cooley C | UTA
Mammoth's Logan Cooley: Snaps scoring drought Monday
Cooley scored a goal and took two shots in Monday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Ducks.
Cooley found the back of the net for the first time since Oct. 28, when he scored a goal in a 6-3 defeat to the Oilers, to snap a seven-game goal drought. Cooley scored eight goals during the month of October, and perhaps this goal will provide the spark he needed to get things back on track. Despite the recent scoring slump, Cooley remains a player worth rostering in all formats. He's up to 15 points (nine goals, six assists) in 19 games, though he recorded 12 of those points in October, as opposed to his three points in eight appearances during the current month of November.

Noah Gregor C | FLA
Panthers' Noah Gregor: Collects first helper
Gregor logged an assist and went plus-2 in Monday's 8-5 win over the Canucks.
Gregor was back in the lineup after a three-game stint as a healthy scratch. The 27-year-old forward has just the one helper to go with seven shots on net, six hits and two PIM over six appearances this season. With Eetu Luostarinen (lower body) and Cole Schwindt (undisclosed) joining the ranks of the injured forwards in Florida, Gregor should get a chance to carve out a more consistent role for a while.

Luke Kunin C | FLA
Panthers' Luke Kunin: Pots first goal of season
Kunin scored a goal on two shots and blocked three shots in Monday's 8-5 win over the Canucks.
Kunin was a healthy scratch for five of six games between Oct. 25 and Nov. 8, but he's since returned to the lineup for four straight contests. The Panthers have more injuries piling up among their depth forwards, which should help Kunin regain consistent playing time. The 27-year-old has two points, nine shots on net, 22 hits, 19 blocked shots and a minus-1 rating over 14 appearances.
