  • Jets' Morgan Barron: Scores goal in tight loss

Barron scored a goal on two shots and blocked three shots in Sunday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Sharks.

Barron provided all the offense the Jets could muster in this game. His goal in the first period also snapped a prolonged drought for him -- his previous goal had come in a 4-3 overtime loss to Utah on Dec. 21. Barron has eight goals this season, and as a fourth-line center and penalty-kill specialist, he's not expected to play a big role in most fantasy formats any time soon.

  • John Beecher C | CGY

Flames' John Beecher: Snags helper Sunday

Beecher posted an assist and three blocked shots in Sunday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Ducks.

Beecher has reclaimed a fourth-line role following the Olympic break. He was sidelined by an upper-body injury for 15 contests prior to the break. The 24-year-old forward has a goal, three assists, 25 shots on net, 20 hits, 22 blocked shots, 29 PIM and a minus-5 rating over 28 appearances between Calgary and Boston this season.

  • Flames' Yegor Sharangovich: Strikes on power play

Sharangovich scored a power-play goal in Sunday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Ducks.

Sharangovich snapped an eight-game point drought with his second-period tally to put the Flames ahead 2-1. The 27-year-old forward has moved around the lineup at times this season, in part due to his inconsistent offense. He now has 12 goals, 21 points (six on the power play), 107 shots on net and a minus-19 rating through 55 contests.

  • Sam Reinhart C | FLA

Panthers' Sam Reinhart: Tallies in Sunday's loss

Reinhart scored a goal on four shots in Sunday's 5-4 loss to the Islanders.

Reinhart had gone six games without a goal, collecting four assists in that span. The 30-year-old's tally tied the game at 4-4 with 1:58 left in the third period, but Anders Lee answered it with 32 seconds left in the frame. Reinhart is now at 28 goals, 57 points, 156 shots on net, 58 hits, 39 blocked shots and a minus-16 rating over 60 appearances. He should continue to hover near a point-per-game pace, and he has the talent and the usage to jump over that threshold if he finishes the year strong.

  • Sam Bennett C | FLA

Panthers' Sam Bennett: Scores twice in loss

Bennett scored two goals on four shots in Sunday's 5-4 loss to the Islanders.

Bennett put the Panthers up 2-0 with a power-play tally in the first period, and he added another goal at even strength to temporarily restore their lead in the middle frame. He has three goals and two assists over three games since NHL action resumed, compared to just two helpers over seven contests heading into the Olympics, in which Bennett picked up a silver medal for Canada. The 29-year-old has 22 goals, 47 points, 156 shots on net, 105 hits, 72 PIM and a minus-11 rating through 60 appearances. He's got some work to do, but a 30-goal, 60-point campaign isn't out of the question -- both of those marks would be career highs.

  • Bo Horvat C | NYI

Islanders' Bo Horvat: Reaches 25-goal mark

Horvat scored a goal on three shots and blocked two shots in Sunday's 5-4 win over the Panthers.

Horvat was held off the scoresheet Saturday in Columbus, but he bounced back with his fourth goal and seventh point in the last five games. The 30-year-old center reached the 25-goal mark with this tally, a level he's now reached in five straight campaigns. He's at 42 points, 152 shots on net, 40 hits, 29 blocked shots, 36 PIM and a plus-10 rating over 47 appearances.

  • Blues' Robert Thomas: Two points in return

Thomas scored an empty-net goal on three shots, added an assist, logged two PIM and went plus-3 in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Wild.

Thomas missed 13 games between a leg injury that required a procedure and a personal matter. The 26-year-old is now back to bolster the Blues' top line, at least for now -- his name has been surfacing in trade rumors since St. Louis has woefully under-performed in 2025-26. Thomas has done his part fairly well with 12 goals, 23 assists, 63 shots on net, 24 blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating through 43 outings.

  • Ryan Strome C | CGY

Ducks' Ryan Strome: Won't play Sunday

Strome (illness) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Flames, Zach Cavanagh of The Sporting Tribune reports.

Strome didn't practice Saturday due to his illness, and he'll be forced to miss Sunday's matchup. His next opportunity to return will be Tuesday against Colorado, but he isn't guaranteed a spot in the lineup when healthy since he's been scratched on several occasions recently.

  • Ducks' Mikael Granlund: Unavailable Sunday

Granlund (upper body) won't be an option for Sunday's home matchup against the Flames, per Zach Cavanagh of The Sporting Tribune.

Granlund has yet to play in a game following the Olympic break, as this will be his third consecutive absence. The left-shot forward's next opportunity to suit up will be in the first of a back-to-back set at home against Colorado on Tuesday. Granlund has registered 12 goals, 27 points, 78 shots and a minus-10 rating over 38 appearances this season.

  • Penguins' Rickard Rakell: Finds twine on power play

Rakell scored a power-play goal, put two shots on net and blocked two shots in Sunday's 5-0 win over Vegas.

Rakell lit the lamp on a power play late in the second period to put the Penguins up by four goals. He has 11 goals, 25 points, 108 shots on net, 53 hits and 33 blocked shots across 38 games this season. The veteran forward has been effective in a top-six role when healthy this season and is set to see a bump in playing time with Sidney Crosby (lower body) sidelined. Rakell holds solid fantasy value moving forward while the Penguins vie for a playoff spot in the Metropolitan Division.
