  • Martin Necas C | COL

Avalanche's Martin Necas: Scores early in win

Necas scored a power-play goal on two shots and added two PIM in Tuesday's 8-4 win over the Devils.

Necas saw his eight-game point streak end over the weekend in a loss to Boston, and he was also held off the scoresheet in the first game of a home-and-home set against New Jersey. He made sure the drought didn't reach three contests, burying his power-play tally 1:24 into Tuesday's high-scoring victory. The 26-year-old is up to seven goals, 13 points, 22 shots on net, 12 hits, eight PIM and a plus-7 rating across 11 appearances. Necas will continue to be consistently strong in most fantasy formats as a top-line player in a strong offense.

  • Senators' Michael Amadio: Finds twine Tuesday

Amadio scored a goal and added three hits in Tuesday's 7-3 loss to the Blackhawks.

Amadio has earned all three of his points, including two goals, over the last four games. The 29-year-old forward is occupying a middle-six role for the Senators, and he saw a season-high 2:37 of power-play time Tuesday, though it's unclear if he'll be a regular with the man advantage going forward. Amadio has produced 11 shots on net, 15 hits and eight blocked shots across 11 appearances.

  • Jets' Mark Scheifele: Earns two helpers Tuesday

Scheifele logged two assists and two shots on goal in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime win over the Wild.

Scheifele set up his linemates for goals, feeding Gabriel Vilardi for the opening tally and Kyle Connor for the game-winner 46 seconds into overtime. Scheifele has five points over his last three games. The 32-year-old center is at eight goals, seven helpers, 27 shots on net and a plus-5 rating through 10 appearances in a productive start to 2025-26.

  • Panthers' Anton Lundell: Tallies in shootout loss

Lundell scored a goal on three shots in Tuesday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Ducks.

Lundell had gone seven games without a goal, picking up four assists in that span. The 24-year-old got the Panthers on the board in the third period. The center is up to three goals, eight points, 25 shots on net, nine hits, eight blocked shots and a minus-1 rating through 11 appearances. He will continue to see ample time in all situations, which could allow him to maintain a career-best scoring pace this season.

  • Sam Reinhart C | FLA

Panthers' Sam Reinhart: Forces overtime Tuesday

Reinhart scored a goal on nine shots in Tuesday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Ducks.

Reinhart got a piece of a Seth Jones shot at 16:54 of the third period to tie the game at 2-2. Reinhart appears to be heating up with goals in three straight games, and his nine shots Tuesday were a season high. The 29-year-old has five tallies, one assist, 35 shots on net, 14 hits, eight blocked shots and a minus-4 rating over 11 appearances. He's shooting just 14.3 percent so far. However, he has been above 17 percent in four of the previous five seasons, so he could still improve from here.

  • Josh Dunne C | BUF

Sabres' Josh Dunne: Earns first NHL goal

Dunne scored a goal on three shots in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Blue Jackets.

Dunne's first career goal came against the team that gave him his NHL debut in 2020-21. The 26-year-old has a goal, five shots, six hits and a plus-1 rating over four appearances this season. He's helping the Sabres cover some injury absences, but Dunne will likely have to head back to AHL Rochester once the Sabres get healthier.

  • Ryan McLeod C | BUF

Sabres' Ryan McLeod: Produces goal Tuesday

McLeod scored a goal in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Blue Jackets.

McLeod is on a four-game point streak, earning a goal and four assists in that span. The second-line center has three tallies, seven points, 11 shots on net, six blocked shots and a minus-1 rating over 10 appearances this season. He's logged a shot on goal in just five contests so far, though he is not known for being a high-volume shooter after scoring 20 goals on just 97 shots in 2024-25.

  • Zach Hyman C | EDM

Oilers' Zach Hyman: Won't return for Saturday's game

Hyman (wrist) has been ruled out for Thursday's game against the Rangers and Saturday's game against Chicago, Mark Spector of Sportsnet reports.

The Oilers were initially hopeful that Hyman could return in time for Saturday's matchup against the Blackhawks. However, head coach Kris Knoblauch said Wednesday that the 33-year-old will require at least another week on the shelf. While Hyman will miss several more games and is considered week-to-week, it still seems possible that he'll be able to make his season debut sometime in the first half of November.

  • Hurricanes' Logan Stankoven: Lights lamp Tuesday

Stankoven scored a goal on two shots and went minus-2 in Tuesday's 6-3 loss to the Golden Knights.

Stankoven has scored twice over the last three games. The 22-year-old is up to three goals, two assists, 20 shots on net and a plus-1 rating across nine appearances. He could do with increasing his shot volume slightly -- he averaged nearly 2.5 shots per game in 2024-25, but he's at just 2.2 per game to begin 2025-26.

  • Golden Knights' Brett Howden: Gets goal in win

Howden scored a goal on two shots, added two PIM and logged five hits in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Hurricanes.

Howden's goal tied the game at 3-3 in the third period, and the Golden Knights added three more tallies in the last five minutes to run away with the win. The 27-year-old has two points, four shots on net, 16 hits and a minus-4 rating over six appearances this season. He's been mainly in a bottom-six role, and he'll likely fill in as a center while Colton Sissons (undisclosed) is sidelined.
