Colton Sissons C | LV
Golden Knights' Colton Sissons: First point with new team
Sissons recorded an assist, two hits and two blocked shots in Thursday's 6-5 win over the Bruins.
The helper was Sissons' first point in five games with the Golden Knights. He's added six PIM, five hits, four blocked shots and three shots on net as a defensive center on the fourth line. The 31-year-old has reached the 30-point mark on three occasions in his career, including two of the last three years, but he's averaging just 11:16 of ice time per game to start with Vegas, down by more than three minutes from his 14:22 average in 2024-25.

Tomas Hertl C | LV
Golden Knights' Tomas Hertl: Nets power-play marker
Hertl scored a power-play goal on six shots and added two PIM in Thursday's 6-5 win over the Bruins.
Hertl was ruled to have gotten a stick on a Pavel Dorofeyev shot that created a rebound with chaos in the crease. This was Hertl's first power-play point of the season, as he's largely been unable to get involved from the bumper spot while Pavel Dorofeyev has been ripping home one-timers. Hertl is up to two goals, two assists, 12 shots on net, eight hits and a plus-1 rating through five contests in a second-line role.

Jack Eichel C | LV
Golden Knights' Jack Eichel: Earns pair of points
Eichel scored a goal on nine shots, dished a power-play assist and blocked three shots in Thursday's 6-5 win over the Bruins.
The Massachusetts native put up a big performance against the Bruins. Eichel gave Vegas its first lead at 4:14 of the second period, and he also helped out on William Karlsson's game-winning tally early in the third. Through five contests, Eichel has four multi-point efforts -- he's up to a league-leading 11 points (five goals, six helpers), which includes five power-play points. He's added 27 shots on net, four hits, four blocked shots and a plus-2 rating as he continues to do everything, and most of it well, as the Golden Knights' top talent.

William Karlsson C | LV
Golden Knights' William Karlsson: Shows special teams skills
Karlsson scored two goals, one while shorthanded and the other on the power play, in Thursday's 6-5 win over the Bruins.
Karlsson had the Golden Knights' last two goals, scoring a shortie late in the second period before his power-play game-winner early in the third. The 32-year-old can still play in all situations, though he's seen some reduced minutes at even strength and on the power play early this season. He's up to three points, 13 shots on net, six blocked shots and a minus-3 rating across five contests. Karlsson has scored at least one shorthanded goal in eight of the last nine seasons, and he now has more power-play tallies this year than he did in all of 2024-25.

Leo Carlsson C | ANA
Ducks' Leo Carlsson: Nets lone goal in Thursday's loss
Carlsson scored a goal on five shots in Thursday's 4-1 loss to the Hurricanes.
Carlsson has earned two goals and six points over four games to begin the season. The 20-year-old provided a quick response to Seth Jarvis' second goal of the game, but the Ducks couldn't build off of his tally. Carlsson has added 13 shots on net, three blocked shots and a minus-1 rating while skating in a top-line role. If he keeps playing near this level throughout the year, he'll prove why the Ducks found him worthy of being selected second overall in 2023.

Seth Jarvis C | CAR
Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Three-point effort in win
Jarvis scored twice on seven shots, added an assist and went plus-3 in Thursday's 4-1 win over the Ducks.
Jarvis had the Hurricanes' first two goals of the game, including a power-play tally midway through the second period that was the game-winner. He also set up Sebastian Aho's insurance tally in the third. Jarvis has had a superb start to 2025-26 with five goals, two assists, 16 shots on net and a plus-4 rating across four appearances. As long as he's on the Hurricanes' top line, he's poised for high-end scoring, and he also can chip in some physicality while seeing time in all situations.

Noel Acciari C | PIT
Penguins' Noel Acciari: Puts up helper
Acciari notched an assist, three shots on goal and two hits in Thursday's 4-2 win over the Kings.
Acciari has played in four of five games for the Penguins to begin the year, though he is likely to rotate in and out of the lineup throughout the campaign. The 33-year-old has a helper, four shots on net, nine hits, four blocked shots and a plus-1 rating. Acciari's defensive acumen has some value, as does his experience, but the Penguins are looking to see what they can get out of their younger players, which could end up limiting his playing time.

Filip Hallander C | PIT
Penguins' Filip Hallander: First NHL goal comes shorthanded
Hallander scored a shorthanded goal on two shots in Thursday's 4-2 win over the Kings.
Hallander scored his first NHL goal, and it was a big one. He tallied at 6:50 of the third period while the Penguins were shorthanded, and his goal stood as the game-winner. The 25-year-old has contributed two points with six shots and a plus-1 rating across four appearances this season. While he's not standing out all that much, he's doing enough to maintain a place in the Penguins' bottom six.

Connor Dewar C | PIT
Penguins' Connor Dewar: Nets tying goal
Dewar scored a goal on two shots and added two hits in Thursday's 4-2 win over the Kings.
Dewar scored his first goal of the season at 7:18 of the second period, tying the game at 2-2 just 41 seconds after Evgeni Malkin got the Penguins on the board. The 26-year-old Dewar has occupied a bottom-six role to begin 2025-26, earning two points, seven shots on net, 10 hits, four blocked shots and a plus-1 rating through five appearances. While he looks to be a regular in the lineup, he'd need to earn a larger role to get on the fantasy radar.

Evgeni Malkin C | PIT
Penguins' Evgeni Malkin: Strikes on power play in win
Malkin scored a power-play goal on two shots in Thursday's 4-2 win over the Kings.
Malkin has started 2025-26 in good form, but his goal at 6:37 of the second period was his first of the campaign. The 39-year-old has added six assists, 11 shots on net and a minus-1 rating over five contests while getting on the scoresheet in four of them. While age-related declines on offense have been noticeable in the last few years, Malkin is still highly talented, so bursts of production shouldn't be too shocking.
