Paul stepped up with Anthony Cirelli nicked up due to an undisclosed injury. The goal was Paul's first since Feb. 1 (13 games; one assist). Paul has struggled with injuries this season and has played in just 47 contests. He has seven goals, eight assists, 62 shots, 70 hits and 278 faceoff wins (54.5 percent) this season.

Eetu Luostarinen C | FLA
Panthers' Eetu Luostarinen: Second-best offensive season
Luostarinen scored in Tuesday's 4-3 shootout loss to Montreal.
He redirected a point shot in the third to put the Panthers up 3-2. Luostarinen has 10 goals, 18 assists, 102 shots and 118 hits in 69 games this season. That's his best offensive output since his career mark of 43 points set in the 2022-23 regular season. The points-hits combo can make Luostarinen a fantasy fit in the bottom forward roster spot in deep leagues.

Ben Jones C | MIN
Wild's Ben Jones: Racks up three assists in AHL win
Jones logged three assists in AHL Iowa's 5-2 win over Texas on Tuesday.
Jones has five goals and five assists over his last seven contests. The veteran forward is up to 11 goals, 28 points, 84 shots on net and a plus-2 rating through 32 AHL outings. Jones has seen some time with the big club and could be an option if injuries arise.

Carter Verhaeghe C | FLA
Panthers' Carter Verhaeghe: Hits 25 goal mark
Verhaeghe scored a goal Tuesday in a 4-3 shootout loss to Montreal.
Verhaeghe followed Donovan Sebrango's end-to-end rush and buried the defender's rebound from the left circle. Verhaeghe has a goal in each of his last two games and 25 on the season (55 points; 76 games). Aside from his two 70-plus point regular seasons, he is a consistent 50-55 point NHL winger who tickles the twine 20-25 times a campaign. This season, he struggled like the rest of the team with so many stars out of the lineup due to injury.

Nick Suzuki C | MON
Canadiens' Nick Suzuki: Clutch goal from team leader
Suzuki scored a goal Tuesday in a 4-3 shootout win over the Panthers.
Suzuki tied the game with 21 seconds left to force overtime; the win moved the Habs into a three-way tie with the Sabres and Lightning for first place in the Atlantic Division (102 points). The goal was Suzuki's 28th this season. He has a career-best 96 points in 78 games. Since the Olympic break, Suzuki has put up at least a point in 17 of 21 games played (10 goals, 31 assists). He has four games left to hit the century mark in points for the first time ever. His 96 points tied him with Pierre Turgeon (1995-96) for the most by a member of the Habs since Vincent Damphousse put up 97 in 1992-93.

Phillip Danault C | MON
Canadiens' Phillip Danault: Snaps 14-game goal drought
Danault scored a goal Tuesday in a 4-3 shootout win over Florida.
Danault snapped a 14-game goal drought with the snipe. He has struggled offensively this season. He has just six goals and 11 assists in 72 games; all six goals and six assists have come in 42 games since joining Montreal. At least he's still performing at the dot with 531 wins (55.3 percent), although this will be just his second regular season below 600 wins in the last eight. It's hard to know if this is simply an outlier for the veteran or if he's fallen off the age-related cliff at 33 years old. Danault is a veteran presence on a young and surprisingly good Montreal squad; he has 62 playoff games under his belt, and the team will be hoping he can bring that knowledge and poise to the squad as they head into the postseason.

Red Wings' Michael Rasmussen: Will miss time
Rasmussen (lower body) will miss some games after exiting Tuesday's game versus the Blue Jackets, Ansar Khan of MLive.com reports.
Rasmussen's injury Tuesday is related to his previous lower-body issue, as he was hit with a shot in almost exactly the same spot. With Rasmussen out, Dominik Shine will likely get the first crack at filling the opening in the lineup.

Nazem Kadri C | COL
Avalanche's Nazem Kadri: Departs Tuesday's game
Kadri (upper body) won't return to Tuesday's game versus the Blues.
Kadri was injured during the second period. The Avalanche have no need to rush him back ahead of the playoffs, so he may be brought along slowly in his recovery from this issue. Zakhar Bardakov or Joel Kiviranta could enter the lineup if Kadri is out Thursday versus the Flames.
