  • Ducks' Mason McTavish: Bags apple Wednesday

McTavish logged a power-play assist and went plus-2 in Wednesday's 6-5 win over the Oilers.

McTavish missed the last five games of January due to an upper-body injury. He went scoreless in his first two contests back before the Olympic break, and he broke the brief drought by helping on Alex Killorn's tally in the second period of Wednesday's win. McTavish is at 31 points (seven on the power play), 110 shots on net, 57 hits, 28 blocked shots, 36 PIM and a minus-9 rating across 52 appearances this season. He'll likely play in a middle-six role for the rest of the campaign.

  • Leo Carlsson C | ANA

Ducks' Leo Carlsson: Leads offense in return

Carlsson scored a goal on four shots and added two assists in Wednesday's 6-5 win over the Oilers.

Carlsson ended up missing 11 games after undergoing a procedure to address a Morel-Lavallee lesion on his left thigh. He logged 17:16 of ice time in this contest. With the injury behind him, Carlsson should be able to recapture the early-season form that made him look like a breakout star. He set a career high in points with this performance -- he's at 47 (19 goals, 28 helpers) through 45 appearances this season while adding 111 shots on net and a plus-3 rating.

  • Kings' Quinton Byfield: Nets two goals in loss

Byfield scored twice on four shots and added two hits in Wednesday's 6-4 loss to the Golden Knights.

Byfield had a power-play goal in the first period and added an even-strength tally in the third. The 23-year-old four goals over his last five games, so he may be setting himself up for a strong end to the regular season. He's at 13 goals, 32 points, 119 shots on net, 42 hits, 31 blocked shots and a minus-5 rating across 56 appearances so far.

  • Golden Knights' Tanner Laczynski: Steps up in larger role

Laczynski recorded three assists and a plus-2 rating in Wednesday's 6-4 win over the Kings.

Laczynski got to play on the second line because the Golden Knights were thin down the middle for the contest. The team decided to rest Jack Eichel and Mitch Marner following their participation in the 2026 Winter Olympics. The 28-year-old Laczynski may head back to the AHL soon, despite this strong performance. He has five helpers, 12 shots on net, five blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating in 10 NHL outings this season.

  • Golden Knights' Colton Sissons: Goal, assist in win

Sissons scored a goal, added an assist, doled out two hits and blocked three shots in Wednesday's 6-4 win over the Kings.

Sissons missed 12 games before the Olympic break due to an upper-body injury. He saw 13:23 of ice time in his return, with the 32-year-old playing on the third line due to multiple absences around the Vegas lineup. He's likely to settle in on the fourth line, though he can move up if injuries pile up again. Sissons is up to eight points, 44 shots on net, 63 hits, 29 blocked shots and a minus-7 rating through 42 contests this season, so he's unlikely to carry much fantasy appeal.

  • Jets' Mark Scheifele: Dishes pair of assists

Scheifele notched two assists, three shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Wednesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Canucks.

Scheifele set up goals in regulation for Kyle Connor and Gabriel Vilardi, each answering a Vancouver tally. This was Scheifele's third multi-point effort during his six-game point streak -- he has two goals and seven helpers in that span. The 32-year-old center is up to a total of 70 points (27 goals, 43 assists) with 119 shots on net, 30 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating through 57 appearances this season. While the Jets have struggled overall, Scheifele could challenge the career-high 87-point total he put up in the 2024-25 regular season.

  • Jets' Cole Perfetti: Plays hero Wednesday

Perfetti scored the game-winning goal and took four shots on net in Wednesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Canucks.

Perfetti scored the winning goal at 1:37 of the extra session. He's scored three times over the Jets' last four contests, totaling four points in that span. The 24-year-old has had a mostly uneven campaign, collecting seven goals, 19 points, 33 hits, 20 blocked shots and a minus-8 rating through 43 outings, though he's talented enough to put together a strong run to end the season.

  • Jets' Gabriel Vilardi: Deposits goal Wednesday

Vilardi scored a goal on two shots and went plus-2 in Wednesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Canucks.

Vilardi's tally late in the second period tied the game at 2-2 and ultimately forced overtime, where Cole Perfetti was the hero for the Jets. Over his last six outings, Vilardi has three goals and four assists while seeing steady top-six minutes. The 26-year-old forward is up to 22 goals, 51 points, 113 shots on net and an even plus-minus rating through 57 outings, maintaining his status as a good offense-only option in fantasy.

  • Bruins' Patrick Brown: Tallies twice in AHL win

Brown scored two goals in AHL Providence's 6-4 win over Lehigh Valley on Wednesday.

Brown has officially established his new career high for points in an AHL season with 47. He's at 17 goals, 30 assists and a plus-32 rating for a Providence team that has been among the best in the AHL this season. The 33-year-old forward is likely to remain a veteran leader with the farm team for the remainder of 2025-26.

  • Adam Benak C | MIN

Wild's Adam Benak: Three assists in OHL win

Benak notched three assists in OHL Brantford's 5-4 win over Brampton on Wednesday.

Benak had two goals and five assists over his previous seven games. That's decent production overall, but the Czech forward has played to a higher standard this season. He has 23 goals, 40 assists, 101 shots on net and a plus-14 rating over 38 appearances. The Wild prospect is looking like a strong playmaking forward, though he's undersized and will likely move from center to wing as a professional.
