  • Avalanche's Nathan MacKinnon: Leads offense with three points

MacKinnon scored twice on six shots, added an assist and went plus-2 in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Stars in Game 1.

MacKinnon's first goal was on the power play, and it stood as the game-winner. He also added an empty-netter. The superstar center finished second in the regular season with 116 points (32 goals, 84 assists) over 79 appearances, though he missed the last three games of the year with an undisclosed injury. Keeping him fresh for the playoffs was likely part of that decision, and MacKinnon looked pretty healthy in Game 1. He'll play a critical role for the Avalanche during the postseason.

  • Zack Bolduc C | MON

Blues' Zachary Bolduc: Pockets helper in Game 1 loss

Bolduc notched an assist, three hits and two PIM in Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Jets in Game 1.

Bolduc has four points over his last three games. The 22-year-old emerged as a reliable depth scorer late in the regular season, finishing the campaign with 19 goals, 36 points, 120 shots on net, 108 hits and a plus-20 rating over 72 appearances. Bolduc is on the third line to open the playoffs, but he should also remain a factor on the power play, which could help boost his offense if the Blues can keep pace with the Jets' strong offense.

  • Blues' Oskar Sundqvist: Lights lamp in Game 1 loss

Sundqvist scored a goal and added three hits in Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Jets in Game 1.

Sundqvist snapped a 13-game goal drought with his first-period tally in the playoff opener. In that span, he had just four assists and eight shots on net. Sundqvist won't be much more than a depth scorer in the postseason, though he remains in a power-play role that could boost his offense. In the regular season, he logged 20 points (seven on the power play), 60 shots on net, 78 hits, 53 blocked shots and a minus-6 rating over 67 appearances.

  • Jordan Kyrou C | STL

Blues' Jordan Kyrou: Buries power-play goal in loss

Kyrou scored a power-play goal on four shots and went minus-2 in Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Jets in Game 1.

Kyrou ended the regular season with five goals and three assists over the last seven games. The 26-year-old has already started the postseason well with a second-period tally in Game 1. He'll be a key part of the Blues' offense in the first round against the Jets after recording 36 goals and 70 points over 82 regular-season contests.

  • Blues' Robert Thomas: Opens scoring on power play

Thomas scored a power-play goal on two shots, added two hits and went minus-2 in Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Jets in Game 1.

Thomas ended the regular season on a 12-game point streak (four goals, 21 assists), and he kept the momentum up by scoring the first goal of the Blues' playoff run. The center had a total of 21 goals and 81 points over 70 regular-season contests in 2024-25. This is his fifth year of playoff experience, and he previously won the Stanley Cup in 2019, but he has just 18 points over his first 45 playoff outings.

  • Jets' Morgan Barron: Manages helper in win

Barron logged an assist and two hits in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Blues in Game 1.

Barron has chipped in eight points over his last 17 contests while playing in a fourth-line role. The 26-year-old should have no trouble staying in the lineup during the first round, as the Jets are missing three of their regular forwards. Barron could even stay in the lineup over Rasmus Kupari (concussion) once he's healthy, as they've both seen time as the fourth-line center this season. Barron put up 15 points, 122 hits, 92 shots on net and a plus-8 rating in 74 regular-season contests.

  • Jets' Mason Appleton: Sets up empty-netter

Appleton logged an assist and added two hits in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Blues in Game 1.

Appleton ended the regular season on a six-game skid, but he was able to get on the scoresheet in the playoff opener. He fed Adam Lowry for an empty-net goal to close out this win. Appleton played in a third-line role for much of 2024-25, racking up 22 points, 107 shots on net, 76 hits and a plus-7 rating in 71 regular-season contests.

  • Jets' Jaret Anderson-Dolan: Nets first career playoff goal

Anderson-Dolan scored a goal on two shots in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Blues in Game 1.

This was Anderson-Dolan's first goal in 2024-25. It was also the first playoff goal of his career, coming in just his fifth postseason appearance. The 25-year-old is getting a look in the Jets' lineup while they're missing Nikolaj Ehlers (foot), Rasmus Kupari (concussion) and Gabriel Vilardi (upper body). Once one of those players returns, Anderson-Dolan is likely to become a healthy scratch.

  • Adam Lowry C | WPG

Jets' Adam Lowry: Pots empty-netter Saturday

Lowry scored an empty-net goal on two shots and added three hits in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Blues in Game 1.

While the Jets' top line did much of the work, Lowry took care of business late with the empty-netter to seal the win. The 32-year-old has earned three goals and three assists, as well as 17 shots on net and 25 hits over his last 11 outings. Lowry's work is likely to be more defensive in nature during the playoffs, as he's the Jets' top shutdown center. That said, he had 34 points over 73 regular-season contests for his third straight season over the 30-point mark, so he can still chip in some depth scoring.

  • Jets' Mark Scheifele: Three points in playoff opener

Scheifele scored a power-play goal on two shots, added two assists, logged 10 PIM, notched two hits and went plus-2 in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Blues in Game 1.

Scheifele got a misconduct penalty late in the game after racking up his first multi-point effort since March 28. The 32-year-old has gotten on the scoresheet in 12 of his last 14 games, amassing five goals and 10 assists in that span. He'll center the Jets' first line throughout the playoffs, and he's well-positioned to be a big performer in fantasy if they go on a deep run.
