Sharangovich sustained a broken foot in Thursday's regular-season finale versus the Kings, according to Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan.
Sharangovich compiled 17 goals, 32 points and 128 shots on net across 73 appearances during the 2024-25 campaign. He will recover over the offseason and could be ready for training camp in the fall.

Oilers' Trent Frederic: Likely available for Game 1
Frederic (ankle) appears to be probable for Game 1 of Edmonton's first-round series versus Los Angeles on Monday, Daniel Nugent-Bowman of The Athletic reports Saturday.
Frederic hasn't been in the lineup since April 5. He had eight goals, 15 points, 44 PIM and 157 hits across 58 regular-season appearances between Boston and Edmonton in 2024-25. If Frederic is an option against the Kings, he might serve on the fourth line, potentially replacing Kasperi Kapanen or Mattias Janmark.

Kings' Phillip Danault: Expected to play in Game 1
Danault (rest) should be in the lineup for Game 1 of the Kings' first-round series against Edmonton on Monday, per Eric Stephens of The Athletic on Saturday.
Danault skipped the Kings' 5-1 loss to Calgary on Thursday to rest up for the playoffs. He finished the regular season with eight goals and 43 points across 80 appearances with Los Angeles. Danault is projected to play alongside Warren Foegele and Trevor Moore (rest) in Game 1.

Stienburg (suspension) was recalled from AHL Colorado on Saturday, per the NHL media site.
On Oct. 31, Stienburg received a two-game suspension for charging Tampa Bay's Erik Cernak in a 5-2 loss. The 24-year-old Stienburg spent the remainder of 2024-25 in the minors, but he will serve his suspension in the NHL playoffs.

Vilardi (upper body) won't play against the Blues on Saturday in Game 1, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports.
Vilardi missed the final 11 games of the regular season and won't be ready for the start of Winnipeg's first-round playoff series. Once healthy, he could return to a top-line role and see time on the first power-play combination.

Kupari (concussion) will sit out the opening game of the playoffs against St. Louis on Saturday, Lou Korac of NHL.com reports.
Kupari suffered the injury against the Islanders on March 4 and tried to play March 25 against Washington following a nine-game absence but lasted only 5:44 before symptoms reappeared. He missed the final 10 games of the regular season, finishing with five goals and eight points in 59 appearances.

Kampf (upper body) has been cleared to play but will be a healthy scratch Sunday versus Ottawa in Game 1, according to Mark Masters of TSN.
Kampf missed the final seven games of the regular season due to the injury. He had only five goals and eight assists across 59 outings as a fourth-line forward in 2024-25.

Staal (rest) will be in the lineup against the Devils on Sunday in Game 1 of the postseason, Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site reports.
Staal played in four of Carolina's final 10 games down the stretch, sitting out with a lower-body injury and for additional rest. He finished the 2024-25 regular season with 13 goals, 36 points, 107 shots on net and 138 hits across 75 appearances.
