Kent Johnson C | CLB
Blue Jackets' Kent Johnson: Pots goal in loss
Johnson scored a goal on three shots in Friday's 6-3 loss to the Penguins.
Johnson ended a four-game slump with his third-period tally, which got the Blue Jackets within two goals before the Penguins put away an empty-netter. The 22-year-old forward had not gone more than three contests without a point prior to his most recent skid. It's still been a wildly successful campaign for the fifth-overall pick from 2021, as he's racked up 22 goals, 46 points, 104 shots on net and a minus-4 rating over 55 appearances in his third full NHL campaign.

Blake Lizotte C | PIT
Penguins' Blake Lizotte: Posts helper in win
Lizotte notched an assist and two shots on goal in Friday's 6-3 win over the Blue Jackets.
Lizotte is up to four helpers over his last four outings, as well as five hits. The 27-year-old is almost exclusively playmaking -- he's in a 15-game goal drought and has mustered just five shots on net to go with five assists in that span. For the season, he's at 18 points, 43 shots on net, 54 hits, 24 blocked shots, 24 PIM and a minus-1 rating over 52 appearances in a bottom-six role, surpassing his 15-point total from the 2023-24 campaign with the Kings.

Connor Dewar C | PIT
Penguins' Connor Dewar: Offers assist Friday
Dewar provided an assist, four shots on goal, three hits and three blocked shots in Friday's 6-3 win over the Blue Jackets.
Dewar is up to three goals and an assist over six contests with the Penguins. The 25-year-old forward has quickly moved up the lineup after being an occasional healthy scratch when he wasn't on injured reserve for the Maple Leafs prior to the trade deadline. Dewar has seven points, 39 shots on net, 93 hits, 24 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating over 37 appearances in 2024-25. Even with a larger role in Pittsburgh, there's no guarantee his current success on offense will last.

Philip Tomasino C | PHI
Penguins' Philip Tomasino: Puts up helper in win
Tomasino logged an assist, four shots on goal and two PIM in Friday's 6-3 win over the Blue Jackets.
Tomasino set up Evgeni Malkin on the opening tally at 5:28 of the first period. With four points and 12 shots on net over his last four contests, it looks like the 23-year-old is starting to settle in on the Penguins' second line following the team's many moves around the trade deadline. For the season, Tomasino has 10 goals, 11 helpers, 91 shots on net, 55 hits and a minus-6 rating over 53 appearances between the Penguins and the Predators. His 21 points this year are one better than last season, but it's taken him 12 more games to get there.

Noel Acciari C | PIT
Penguins' Noel Acciari: Puts away goal in win
Acciari scored a goal, added four hits and blocked four shots in Friday's 6-3 win over the Blue Jackets.
Acciari's first-period tally was his first goal since Dec. 28 versus the Islanders, a span of 33 games in which he was limited to two assists. He has two points over his last three outings, and he's starting to carve out a bit more ice time on the third line rather than the fourth line. For the season, the checking-line forward has five goals, 11 points, 70 shots on net, 152 hits, 93 blocked shots and a minus-21 rating over 71 contests. In blocks, he ranks second in the NHL among forwards, trailing only Winnipeg's Brandon Tanev (95) after passing Buffalo's Alex Tuch (91) with Friday's effort.

Evgeni Malkin C | PIT
Penguins' Evgeni Malkin: Tallies in Friday's win
Malkin scored a goal on four shots in Friday's 6-3 win over the Blue Jackets.
Malkin has two goals and two helpers over his last six contests, and he's added 12 shots on net, 10 PIM and a plus-3 rating in that span. The 38-year-old got a stick on a rebound to open the scoring at 5:28 of the first period. He hasn't been anywhere near his peak this season, but Malkin is at 14 goals, 31 assists, 106 shots on net, 46 blocked shots, 40 PIM and a minus-21 rating over 61 appearances. He will likely remain in a second-line role to close out the campaign.

Rickard Rakell C | PIT
Penguins' Rickard Rakell: Crosses 60-point mark
Rakell scored a goal, dished an assist, added two hits and went plus-3 in Friday's 6-3 win over the Blue Jackets.
Rakell was back on the scoresheet following the end of his four-game point streak Tuesday versus the Islanders. The 31-year-old has seven goals and five assists over 10 outings in March as he continues to be one of the Penguins' most reliable forwards on offense. For the season, the forward is up to 32 goals, 61 points 174 shots on net, 103 hits, 70 blocked shots and a minus-17 rating over 70 appearances. Rakell needs two more goals and eight more points to match his career highs in those categories.

Sidney Crosby C | PIT
Penguins' Sidney Crosby: Point streak up to six games
Crosby scored a goal on three shots, added an assist and went plus-3 in Friday's 6-3 win over the Blue Jackets.
This was Crosby's fourth multi-point effort during his six-game point streak, a span in which he has six goals and four helpers. The 37-year-old center is up to 25 goals, 76 points, 194 shots on net, 59 hits and a minus-20 rating through 69 appearances. He has 11 contests left and is 14 points shy of reaching 90 for a third straight year -- even if he falls a little short, it's been another excellent campaign in Crosby's 20th NHL season.

Bo Horvat C | NYI
Islanders' Bo Horvat: Lights the lamp twice
Horvat scored two goals, including the game-winner, tallied five shots on net and dished out three hits in Thursday's 4-3 overtime win over the Canadiens.
Horvat was a hero late in the game for the Islanders with a goal in both the third and extra period of Thursday's game. His goal in overtime was with just under 90 seconds left to play and was his sixth game-winning goal of the season, which tied his career best. Overall, Horvat has 23 goals, 47 points and 205 shots on net in 67 appearances in 2024-25. He's been steady on offense over the past week with four points in his last four games. With the Islanders making a push for the playoffs, Horvat should see plenty of opportunities to contribute to the offense down the stretch. He has solid value in all fantasy formats.

Alex Wennberg C | SJ
Sharks' Alexander Wennberg: Dealing with lower-body injury
Head coach Ryan Warsofsky said Friday that Wennberg is dealing with a lower-body injury and will likely be a game-time decision for Saturday's game against the Bruins, Max Miller of NHL.com reports.
Wennberg has appeared in each of the Sharks' last 12 games, recording eight assists, seven blocked shots, four hits, two PIM and a plus-2 rating while averaging 18:46 of ice time. If he's unable to suit up against Boston, Noah Gregor or Barclay Goodrow could enter the lineup.
