  • Kraken's Chandler Stephenson: Riding six-game point streak

Stephenson logged an assist and blocked two shots in Tuesday's 6-2 win over the Blackhawks.

Stephenson extended his point streak to six games (one goal, six helpers) when he set up Jordan Eberle's game-tying goal in the second period. The 30-year-old Stephenson is once again excelling as a playmaker on the Kraken's second line. He has brought veteran stability in that role throughout the campaign, earning 48 points with 66 shots on net, 44 blocked shots and a minus-9 rating over 68 appearances. It's a similar pace to what he had in Vegas during the 2023-24 regular season (51 points in 75 contests).

  • Jared McCann C | SEA

Kraken's Jared McCann: Creates lead in win

McCann scored a goal on two shots and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 6-2 win over the Blackhawks.

McCann snapped a five-game point drought with his second-period tally, which put the Kraken ahead 3-2. It ultimately stood as the game-winner, his third such goal this season. It's been a down year for McCann, who has had to battle inconsistency on offense. He has 17 goals, 46 points, 164 shots on net, 40 hits, 38 blocked shots and a plus-6 rating over 69 appearances. His 10.4 shooting percentage is his lowest since he shot 9.3 percent in 2019-20.

  • Kyle Palmieri RW | NYI

Islanders' Kyle Palmieri: Big three-point effort carries win

Palmieri had a goal and two assists Tuesday in a 4-2 victory over the Penguins.

Palmieri got the Isles on the board just 17 seconds into the third period on a breakaway. His wrister hit the right post, bounced out and went in off netminder Tristan Jarry. It snapped Palmieri's five-game point drought. The veteran winger has 44 points (21 goals, 23 assists) in 67 games, which quietly puts him on pace for 52 or 53 points. That's consistency, and consistency is what helps managers win titles.

  • Kraken's Matty Beniers: One of each in win

Beniers scored a goal on two shots and added an assist in Tuesday's 6-2 win over the Blackhawks.

Beniers has three goals and two helpers over his last six contests. The center set up Adam Larsson's goal to get the Kraken on the board in the first period, and the players reversed roles when Beniers scored to make it 4-2 in the middle frame. The 22-year-old Beniers now has 38 points in 69 appearances, one point better than his 77-game output from 2023-24. He's added 124 shots on net, 60 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in 2024-25 as he continues to fill a two-way role on the Kraken's top line.

  • Shane Wright C | SEA

Kraken's Shane Wright: Tallies twice Tuesday

Wright scored two goals on three shots in Tuesday's 6-2 win over the Blackhawks.

Wright potted the Kraken's fifth and sixth goals to stretch the lead. The 21-year-old has played on the fourth line in the last few games, but he led Seattle forwards with 17:42 of ice time in this contest and hasn't seen too much of a drop in minutes. The 21-year-old has four goals and two assists over nine outings in March, and he's up to 17 goals, 40 points, 73 shots on net and a plus-3 rating across 66 appearances.

  • Capitals' Connor McMichael: Nets goal in win

McMichael scored a goal in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Red Wings.

He scored from in front on a feed from Alex Ovechkin late in the third to make the score 4-1. McMichael is on pace for more than 60 points, and he's the kind of player every team wants -- he goes out and proves people wrong every time they say he can't do something. McMichael's drive and energy will make him an ideal second-line scoring center for the next 6-8 years, and his fantasy contributions will be integral to many championships.

  • Capitals' Aliaksei Protas: Ten points in last six games

Protas put up two assists in a 4-1 win over Detroit on Tuesday.

Protas has been a revelation this season. He has three points, including two assists, in his last two games and 10 points (six goals, four helpers) across his past six appearances. Protas has 61 points (29 goals, 32 assists) and 128 shots in 68 contests this season. While only one assist has come with the man advantage, Protas has demonstrated tremendous growth in his defensive game. He leads the NHL with a plus-42 rating, and he has put up four shorthanded points. He's on the ice when it really matters, and he's always on the right side of the puck. It's only a matter of time before Protas starts getting time on the power play, especially at his size (6-foot-6, 247 lbs).

  • Dylan Strome C | WAS

Capitals' Dylan Strome: Equals career high in points

Strome scored a goal and added an assist in a 4-1 win over the Red Wings on Tuesday.

Strome opened the scoring in the first period with a high wrist shot through a screen from the point. He has three points, including two goals, in his last two games and seven points (four goals, three assists) and 12 shots across his past seven outings. Strome equaled his career-best 67 points, which he set last year in 82 games. This year, he has done it in 68, and that means he's flirting with an 80-point campaign. Strome is a top-25 point producer this season. Sometimes it takes a while to fulfill your promise as a top-3 overall draft pick (2015).

  • Dylan Larkin C | DET

Red Wings' Dylan Larkin: Hits 60-point mark for fourth time

Larkin scored Detroit's only goal in a 4-1 loss to Washington on Tuesday.

Larkin was in tight and fired a rebound over the left shoulder of Logan Thompson to knot the game 1-1, and it stayed that way until well into the third when the Caps put up three in a 7:11 span to pull away. It was his 28th goal of the season and his 60th point. Larkin has recorded four consecutive 60-point campaigns, and he's on pace for his second 70-plus season. He's also on pace to top 250 shots. The Wings will need every bit of his offense to make a wild-card spot -- they are three points out and in a multi-team tussle, which makes things tough.

  • Penguins' Emil Bemstrom: Unavailable Tuesday

Bemstrom (undisclosed) won't be in the lineup versus the Islanders on Tuesday, Wes Crosby of NHL.com reports.

With Bemstrom and Thomas Novak (lower body) unavailable to play, Joona Koppanen will suit up versus the Islanders after joining Pittsburgh on Tuesday from the minors on an emergency basis. Bemstrom has one assist, 11 shots on goal and nine hits in 10 NHL outings this season.
