  • Predators' Ryan O'Reilly: Slides power-play helper Friday

    O'Reilly logged a power-play assist in Friday's 2-1 loss to the Ducks.

O'Reilly continues to have a strong March -- he has two goals and five assists over seven contests this month. The center helped out on a Jakub Vrana tally in the third period, which earned O'Reilly his first power-play point since Feb. 8 versus the Sabres. For the season, the 34-year-old O'Reilly has 42 points (13 on the power play), 119 shots on net, 58 blocked shots and a minus-19 rating over 62 appearances in a top-six role.

  • Leo Carlsson C | ANA

Ducks' Leo Carlsson: Assist streak at four games

Carlsson notched an assist in Friday's 2-1 win over the Predators.

Carlsson had the secondary helper on Alex Killorn's game-winning goal in the third period. This was Carlsson's fourth straight contest with an assist. The 20-year-old center has been pretty steady on offense since the start of February, and he's now at 31 points, 80 shots on net and a plus-3 rating through 60 outings overall.

  • Ducks' Trevor Zegras: Spins assist in win

Zegras logged an assist in Friday's 2-1 win over the Predators.

Zegras went into the spin cycle to set up Alex Killorn's third-period tally, which was the game-winner. This was Zegras' fourth game in a row with a helper, and it's showing in his confidence to make plays like he did Friday. For the season, the 23-year-old forward is at seven goals, 14 assists, 75 shots on net, 36 hits, 17 PIM and a minus-8 rating over 41 appearances in a top-six role.

  • Flames' Blake Coleman: Buries goal on rebound

Coleman scored a goal on three shots, doled out six hits and added two PIM in Friday's 4-2 loss to the Avalanche.

Coleman got the Flames on the board in the third period, burying a rebound after a Matthew Coronato shot was stopped. The 33-year-old Coleman ended a terrible stretch in which he was limited to one assist and a minus-6 rating over 14 appearances. While the goal drought is over, he could struggle without longtime linemate Mikael Backlund (upper body), who is week-to-week. Coleman is at 13 goals, 31 points, 153 shots on net, 139 hits, 54 blocked shots, 30 PIM and a minus-8 rating over 65 appearances in a middle-six role this season.

  • Flames' Jonathan Huberdeau: Bounces in power-play goal

Huberdeau scored a power-play goal on two shots and went minus-2 in Friday's 4-2 loss to the Avalanche.

Huberdeau was struck by a Rasmus Andersson shot, and it deflected up and over Scott Wedgewood for the Flames' second goal. This was Huberdeau's third goal over the last two contests, all of which have come on special teams (two on the power play, one shorthanded). For the season, the 31-year-old winger is up to 25 goals, 49 points (18 on the power play), 123 shots on net, 51 blocked shots, 41 hits and a minus-9 rating over 65 appearances. He's still got time to approach the 30-goal and 60-point marks for the first time since his last year with the Panthers in 2021-22.

  • Jack Drury C | COL

Avalanche's Jack Drury: Hands out helper in win

Drury notched an assist in Friday's 4-2 win over the Flames.

Drury snapped a four-game point drought with his helper on Parker Kelly's second-period tally. After getting traded to the Avalanche in late January, Drury initially filled a third-line role, but he's been bumped down to the fourth line following the team's acquisition of Charlie Coyle at the deadline. Drury now has 14 points, 84 shots on net, 38 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating across 57 appearances this season.

  • Ross Colton C | COL

Avalanche's Ross Colton: Provides two more helpers

Colton notched a pair of assists, two shots on goal, three hits, three blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Friday's 4-2 win over the Flames.

Colton has benefited from the Avalanche's improved forward depth following the trade deadline, earning five assists over his last four contests. The 28-year-old remains on the second power-play unit, but all of those helpers have come at even strength. For the season, he's up to 15 goals, 10 assists, 107 shots on net, 125 hits, 37 blocked shots and a minus-1 rating over 50 appearances.

  • Oilers' Mattias Janmark: Checking back in Friday

Janmark (illness) will play Friday versus the Islanders, Daniel Nugent-Bowman of The Athletic reports.

Janmark missed Thursday's game while recovering from an illness. He's good enough to play Friday, and he'll replace Max Jones on the fourth line. Janmark logged just one assist over nine contests prior to his absence.

  • Noel Acciari C | PIT

Penguins' Noel Acciari: Struggling on offense

Acciari's point drought reached 12 games in Thursday's 5-3 win over the Blues.

Acciari has gone minus-6 with nine shots on net, 25 hits and 19 blocked shots in that span. The 33-year-old has moved up to the third line lately, but that's not much better than the fourth-line spot he occupied earlier in the year given the lack of depth in the Penguins' offense. Acciari has mustered just nine points with 67 shots, a minus-21 rating, 145 hits and 87 blocks over 68 appearances as a primarily defensive forward this season.

  • Penguins' Blake Lizotte: Supplies two assists

Lizotte notched two assists and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 5-3 win over the Blues.

The Penguins got some early offense from unlikely sources Thursday, as Lizotte set up goals by Ryan Graves and Connor Dewar. This ended a four-game slump for Lizotte, who has just three assists over 12 contests since his last goal. Still, the team's forward depth is minimal, allowing the 27-year-old to take a third-line role for now. He has 16 points over 49 outings this season, one point better than his 62-game performance from 2023-24. Lizotte has added 41 shots on net, 50 hits, 24 PIM, 23 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating in 2024-25.
