  • Penguins' Sidney Crosby: Adds two helpers in Thursday's win

Crosby notched a pair of assists and went plus-2 in Thursday's 5-3 win over the Blues.

Crosby helped out on third-period tallies by Bryan Rust and Rickard Rakell as the Penguins' top line stepped up to close out the win. This was Crosby's third straight multi-point effort, and he has five goals and six helpers over seven outings in March. The 37-year-old superstar is at 72 points, 185 shots on net, 57 hits, 34 blocked shots and a minus-22 rating over 66 appearances this season.

  • Connor Dewar C | PIT

Penguins' Connor Dewar: Gets goal in win

Dewar scored a goal on four shots and went plus-2 in Thursday's 5-3 win over the Blues.

The goal was Dewar's first of the campaign and his first point over three contests as a Penguin after he was traded from the Maple Leafs. He's in a third-line role in Pittsburgh compared to the limited fourth-line action he got in Toronto. For the season, the 25-year-old depth forward has four points, 32 shots on net, 85 hits and a minus-1 rating over 34 appearances.

  • Hockey Club's Nick Bjugstad: Activated Friday

Bjugstad (upper body) was activated off injured reserve Friday, per Cole Bagley of KSL Sports.

Although being taken off injured reserve is usually an indication that a player is ready to play, Utah isn't expected to make any lineup changes Friday versus Seattle, so it seems Bjugstad won't immediately return. The 32-year-old Bjugstad has five goals and 15 points in 53 appearances in 2024-25. He was last in the lineup March 1.

  • Penguins' Rickard Rakell: Another two-point effort

Rakell recorded a goal, an assist, two shots on goal, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 5-3 win over the Blues.

Rakell extended his impressive stretch of play with another two-point effort, and he's recorded three of those in his last six outings, a span where he's failed to crack the scoresheet on just one occasion. Rakell has posted 15 points (seven goals, eight assists) over his last 15 appearances, a span in which he's also registered 39 shots, 13 hits and nine blocked shots while converting at a solid 17.9 percent clip.

  • Zack Bolduc C | MON

Blues' Zachary Bolduc: Keeps streak alive

Bolduc scored a power-play goal, took two shots and recorded two hits in Thursday's 5-3 loss to the Penguins.

Bolduc has been on a roll of late and extended his point streak to three contests by tallying his 12th goal of the campaign. The second-year center is making the most of his bigger role this season, and he's notched a career-high 25 points (12 goals, 13 helpers) across 56 games in 2024-25. That said, the spike in form in recent weeks has been noticeable. Bolduc has recorded 10 of his 25 points over his last 12 appearances, notching seven goals and three assists in that period.

  • Dylan Holloway LW | STL

Blues' Dylan Holloway: Nets goal Thursday

Holloway scored a power-play goal in Thursday's 5-3 loss to the Penguins. He also notched three shots on goal, one hit and one blocked shot.

Holloway's goal wasn't enough to lift the Blues past the Penguins, but it allowed the center to continue his solid run of play in recent weeks. He's cracked the scoresheet in seven of his last nine appearances, tallying five goals and three assists over that stretch. This extended what has been a career-best campaign for the 23-year-old, who's up to 21 goals and 27 assists in 66 contests.

  • Sharks' Zack Ostapchuk: Recalled by San Jose

Ostapchuk was called up from AHL San Jose on Friday.

The Sharks acquired Ostapchuk from Ottawa a week ago, relinquishing Fabian Zetterlund as part of the package. Ostapchuk had a goal, three assists and 86 hits over 43 games with the Senators this season.

  • Ducks' Nikita Nesterenko: Up from AHL

Nesterenko was called up by Anaheim on Friday.

Nesterenko has 13 goals and 34 points in 48 appearances with AHL San Diego in 2024-25. He also has a goal and two points in seven outings with Anaheim. Sam Colangelo and Ross Johnston are both day-to-day with upper-body injuries, which might lead to Nesterenko drawing into the lineup Friday versus Nashville.

  • Oilers' Leon Draisaitl: Streak reaches 16 games

Draisaitl recorded a goal, three shots, two hits and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 3-2 loss to the Devils.

Draisaitl has been one of the most productive centers in the league this season, and his epic streak of games with at least one point has reached 16 contests following his latest goal. He has recorded 24 points during that stretch (12 goals, 12 assists), and we'd have to go back to Jan. 25 to find the last game in which the 29-year-old didn't crack the scoresheet. Draisaitl is up to 98 points (47 goals, 51 assists) across 65 games this season.

  • Oilers' Connor McDavid: Two helpers to extend point streak

McDavid recorded two assists, two shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Thursday's 3-2 loss to the Devils.

McDavid recorded a multi-point game for the fourth time across his last five contests, and the star playmaker has been on a tear lately, recording at least one point in each of his last nine appearances to reach 13 scoring contributions (two goals, 11 assists) over that stretch. McDavid is having another excellent season and has notched 84 points in only 59 contests, and with 16 games remaining on the Oilers' schedule, the 100-point plateau should be within reach for the 28-year-old for a fifth consecutive campaign.
