  • Jakub Lauko C | BOS

Bruins' Jakub Lauko: Grabs helper Thursday

Lauko notched an assist, three hits, two blocked shots and two PIM in Thursday's 6-3 loss to the Senators.

Lauko earned his first point in three games since Minnesota traded him back to Boston at the deadline. The 24-year-old never had a chance to get comfortable with the Wild, as multiple injuries derailed his campaign. For the season, Lauko is at seven points, 30 shots on net, 79 hits, 31 PIM, 26 blocked shots and a minus-5 rating over 41 appearances. He's likely to remain limited to a bottom-six role for the remainder of this season.

  • Bruins' Casey Mittelstadt: Finds twine in loss

Mittelstadt scored a goal on three shots, blocked two shots and went minus-2 in Thursday's 6-3 loss to the Senators.

Mittelstadt has earned a goal and two assists over the first three games of his tenure with the Bruins. That's an encouraging sign for a player looking to get back on track after a rocky end to his time with the Avalanche. He's also seeing top-six minutes with the Bruins, though they're somewhat deep down the middle with Pavel Zacha and Elias Lindholm also claiming minutes at center. Mittelstadt has 37 points, 87 shots on net and a minus-12 rating over 66 appearances this season, and he's worth a look in fantasy if his offense holds up over the last month of the campaign.

  • Bruins' Marat Khusnutdinov: Scores for first point with Boston

Khusnutdinov scored a goal and added two hits in Thursday's 6-3 loss to the Senators.

Khusnutdinov saw 17:18 of ice time in the loss, his second-highest total in any game this season. The 22-year-old's high-energy playing style is already endearing him to a workmanlike Bruins team, and it's possible he sees top-six minutes in Boston that just simply weren't in consideration for him in Minnesota. For the season, he's at three goals, eight points, 31 shots on net, 44 hits, 40 blocked shots and a minus-6 rating over 60 appearances. Khusnutdinov will need to show a steadier scoring pace to be an option in most fantasy formats.

  • Jack Eichel C | LV

Golden Knights' Jack Eichel: Sets franchise record

Eichel registered an assist and four shots on goal in Thursday's 4-0 win over the Blue Jackets.

Eichel's helper was his 79th point of the season, securing the highest-scoring campaign by a Golden Knights player. He's surged to the mark as a playmaker, picking up a goal and nine assists during his seven-game point streak. He's still got an outside chance of reaching the 100-point mark on the season and should have no trouble topping his previous career high of 82 points from 2018-19 with the Sabres. Eichel has added 202 shots, 46 blocked shots and a plus-28 rating over 64 outings in 2024-25.

  • Golden Knights' Pavel Dorofeyev: Scores again Thursday

Dorofeyev scored a goal on three shots, added four PIM and logged two hits in Thursday's 4-0 win over the Blue Jackets.

Dorofeyev has gotten on the scoresheet in four of six games in March, earning two goals and three assists. The 24-year-old winger continues to operate on the second line, and he's also on the top power-play unit currently. For the season, he has 26 markers, 42 points, 197 shots and a minus-5 rating across 65 appearances, making him a reliable source of goals and shots in fantasy.

  • Canucks' Linus Karlsson: Inks one-year contract

Karlsson agreed to a one-year, $775,000 contract extension with the Canucks on Friday.

Karlsson has spent most of the season with AHL Abbotsford, tallying 19 goals and 13 assists over 28 games. He has played nine games at the NHL level in 2024-25, scoring once.

  • Josh Norris C | BUF

Sabres' Josh Norris: Being evaluated by medical staff

Norris is being checked by the Sabres' medical staff for an undisclosed injury, Lance Lysowski of The Buffalo News reports, making him questionable to face Vegas on Saturday.

Norris hasn't been officially ruled out against the Golden Knights but fantasy players may want to consider benching him in their fantasy lineups just to be safe. In his three appearances for Buffalo, the 25-year-old center has garnered one goal, one assist and two hits while filling a first-line role. If Norris can't play Saturday, the team may consider moving Tage Thompson to center while shifting Alex Tuch up to the top line.

  • Flames' Mikael Backlund: Set for extended absence

Backlund (upper body) was labeled week-to-week by the Flames on Friday.

Backlund has played in all 64 games this season, generating 11 goals and 13 helpers. At this point, Backlund looks poised to record his lowest point total since the 2014-15 campaign when he generated just 27 points in 52 appearances. Still, if he can get back into the lineup sooner rather than later, Backlund could be capable of challenging for the 30-point threshold.

  • Tyson Kozak C | BUF

Sabres' Tyson Kozak: Recalled from AHL

Kozak was called up from AHL Rochester on Friday.

Kozak played 11 games with the Sabres earlier in the season, scoring once. JJ Peterka missed Wednesday's game against Detroit with a lower-body injury and is questionable Saturday versus Vegas, necessitating Kozak's recall as the Sabres have only 12 healthy forwards. Kozak has eight goals and six assists in 31 appearances with the Americans in 2024-25.

  • Nicolas Roy C | COL

Golden Knights' Nicolas Roy: Pots winner on power-play

Roy scored the game-winning goal on the power play and added an even-strength assist in Thursday's 4-0 win over the Blue Jackets.

The 28-year-old was in the right place at the right time, tapping home a tic-tac-toe passing play from Tomas Hertl and Jack Eichel on Vegas' first shot on net of the game midway through the first period. It was Roy's first power-play goal of the season, and the multi-point performance was his first since Jan. 26, but he's been getting onto the scoresheet with some surprising consistency of late -- he's produced three goals and seven points over the last 12 games.
