Sidney Crosby C | PIT
Penguins' Sidney Crosby: Plucks apple in loss
Crosby notched an assist, two shots on goal and a minus-2 rating in Tuesday's 4-1 loss to the Avalanche.
Crosby is on a four-game point streak, earning a goal and five assists in that span. The 37-year-old had a hand in Rickard Rakell's game-tying tally late in the second period. For the season, Crosby remains outstanding on a weak team, racking up 66 points, 177 shots on net, 56 hits and a minus-25 rating through 62 appearances while filling his usual top-line role.

Rickard Rakell C | PIT
Penguins' Rickard Rakell: Scores lone goal in loss
Rakell scored a goal on two shots in Tuesday's 4-1 loss to the Avalanche.
Rakell has scored four goals across three games to begin March, already surpassing his goal total (two) over eight contests in February. The 31-year-old is up to 29 tallies, 53 points, 165 shots on net, 100 hits, 66 blocked shots and a minus-23 rating through 63 appearances. He's one of the biggest names in trade talks, especially when he's having one of the best seasons of his career. As long as Rakell stays in Pittsburgh, he'll have the fantasy-friendly position of playing on Sidney Crosby's wing.

Nathan MacKinnon C | COL
Avalanche's Nathan MacKinnon: Dishes two helpers in win
MacKinnon notched two assists and two shots on goal in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Penguins.
MacKinnon's second helper came on the power play. He's up to 70 assists on the season, eight ahead of second-place Nikita Kucherov. MacKinnon also kept his one-point edge over Leon Draisaitl for the league lead in points through Tuesday's action. MacKinnon has 93 points, 249 shots on net and a plus-20 rating through 62 appearances in another spectacular campaign for the pride of Nova Scotia.

Jack Drury C | COL
Avalanche's Jack Drury: Fills empty cage
Drury scored an empty-net goal on two shots in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Penguins.
Drury has scored in consecutive contests and has a total of four tallies on 21 shots across 13 games with the Avalanche. The 25-year-old is centering the third line, and while it hasn't led to consistent offense, he's at no risk of slipping out of the lineup at this time. He's produced seven goals, 13 points, 81 shots on net, 34 blocked shots and a minus-1 rating over 52 appearances between Colorado and Carolina in 2024-25.

Casey Mittelstadt C | BOS
Avalanche's Casey Mittelstadt: Nets power-play tally
Mittelstadt scored a power-play goal on two shots in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Penguins.
Mittelstadt gave the Avalanche a 2-1 lead with 4:09 left in the third period, and his goal stood as the game-winner. He's scored twice over the last three contests after being limited to one goal and seven helpers over the first 21 games of 2025. The 26-year-old center is at 34 points (11 on the power play), 81 shots on net and a minus-12 rating through 62 appearances. He's still the second-line center, but if the Avalanche are buyers at the trade deadline, Mittelstadt get moved around by newcomers.

Jake Guentzel C | TB
Lightning's Jake Guentzel: First goals in eight games
Guentzel scored two goals and added an assist in a 6-2 win over the Blue Jackets on Tuesday.
Guentzel pushed the Bolts up 3-1 early in the second period with an easy, backdoor tap-in; the goal stood as the winner. His second went into an empty net. The goals were Guentzel's first in eight games. The sniper is now one goal from recording his fourth-straight 30-goal season and fifth of this career.

Connor McDavid C | EDM
Oilers' Connor McDavid: Two points in 700th game
McDavid scored a goal and added an assist, both on the power play in Tuesday's 6-2 loss to the Ducks.
McDavid also recorded five shots on net and a minus-2 rating in his 700th regular-season contest. He's just one game removed from reaching the 700-assist mark, and he has a total of 1,059 points in his 10-year NHL career. The superstar snapped a seven-game goal drought Tuesday and is up to 23 tallies, 77 points (28 on the power play), 170 shots on net and a plus-1 rating across 55 appearances in 2024-25.

Leon Draisaitl C | EDM
Oilers' Leon Draisaitl: Keeps streak alive at 12 games
Draisaitl scored a goal and added an assist, both on the power play, in Tuesday's 6-2 loss to the Ducks.
Draisaitl also had three shots on net and a minus-4 rating in the contest. Aside from going 2-for-3 on the power play, the Oilers' offense was fairly listless. Draisaitl individually has been excellent all season, especially lately during his 12-game point streak consisting of 10 goals and eight helpers. Overall, he's at 92 points (28 on the power play), 203 shots on net and a plus-24 rating across 61 appearances. The 100-point mark is a near-certainty, and if he stays hot down the stretch, Draisaitl could take a run at his career-best 128-point total from 2022-23.

Trevor Zegras C | PHI
Ducks' Trevor Zegras: Nabs helper in return
Zegras logged an assist, two hits and a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 6-2 win over the Oilers.
Zegras was suspended three games after interfering with the Red Wings' Michael Rasmussen in a contest Feb. 23. The 23-year-old Zegras was eligible to return Tuesday and did so in a top-six role, helping out on an Alex Killorn tally in the third period. Zegras has seven points over his last 11 outings. He's far from the only Duck to find momentum on offense recently. While he has a modest 17 points across 35 appearances for the season, along with 71 shots on net and a minus-5 rating, he's worth a look for fantasy managers in need of depth scoring.
