  • Jets' Morgan Barron: Close to returning

Head coach Scott Arniel said Monday that Barron (upper body) is close to returning to game action, Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site reports.

Barron has been sidelined since the end of January due to an upper-body injury, but he's missed just five games since the 4 Nations Face-Off break took place during his absence. While the 26-year-old will be unavailable against the Sharks on Monday, he could return to game action Wednesday against Ottawa or Thursday against Nashville.

  • Ducks' Trevor Zegras: Headed for suspension

Zegras will have a hearing with the Department of Player Safety on Monday.

Zegras will face a suspension for his hit on Detroit's Michael Rasmussen on Sunday. At a minimum, fantasy managers should be expecting the 23-year-old Zegras to be out of action for Tuesday's game against Buffalo, though it could certainly be longer. Both Cutter Gauthier and Robby Fabbri could be candidates to move into a top-six role with Zegras unavailable.

  • Kirby Dach C | MON

Canadiens' Kirby Dach: Dealing with lower-body injury

Dach (lower body) is being evaluated and won't participate in Monday's practice.

Dach has accounted for 10 goals, 22 points, 84 shots on net, 36 blocked shots and 100 hits through 57 games this season. The Canadiens recalled Owen Beck from AHL Laval on Monday. If Dach and Michael Pezzetta (lower body) can't play against Carolina on Tuesday, Beck could draw into the lineup.

  • Owen Beck C | MON

Canadiens' Owen Beck: Summoned from minors

Beck was recalled from AHL Laval on Monday.

Beck hasn't earned a point in six NHL outings this season while posting six shots on goal, three blocked shots and 13 hits. The 21-year-old forward has 13 goals and 32 points across 47 minor-league appearances in the 2024-25 campaign. Beck will be a depth forward for the Canadiens while Michael Pezzetta (lower body) recovers from an injury.

  • Andrew Copp C | DET

Red Wings' Andrew Copp: Shifted to IR

Copp (undisclosed) was designated for injured reserve Monday.

Copp will be out of action for at least the next two games based on his IR placement, though it could certainly be longer. In a corresponding move, the Red Wings brought Sheldon Dries up from AHL Grand Rapids. Prior to getting hurt, Copp was finding his stride offensively with four points in his last five outings, including a power-play helper.

  • Cody Glass C | NJ

Penguins' Cody Glass: Offers assist in loss

Glass logged an assist, three shots on goal and a plus-2 rating in Sunday's 5-3 loss to the Rangers.

The helper was Glass's first point over six outings in February. The 25-year-old got a look on the second line as a winger, though he's often filled a bottom-six role this season. Glass is up to 14 points, 68 shots on net, 37 hits, 28 blocked shots and a minus-9 rating over 46 appearances, production right in line with what he had for the Predators in 2023-24, so he's not much of an option in most fantasy formats.

  • Oilers' Leon Draisaitl: Strikes early in loss

Draisaitl scored a power-play goal and went minus-2 in Sunday's 7-3 loss to the Capitals.

Draisaitl put the Oilers ahead 1:42 into the game with the opening goal, but the Capitals were up 2-1 by the first intermission and never looked back. The 29-year-old forward has seven goals and five assists, including four power-play points, during his eight-game point streak. He's already surpassed his 2023-24 goal total with 42 tallies in 57 outings in 2024-25, and he's added 44 assists, 24 power-play points, 190 shots on net and a plus-25 rating.

  • Capitals' Connor McMichael: Achieves first 20-goal season

McMichael scored a goal on two shots, added two PIM and went plus-3 in Sunday's 7-3 win over the Oilers.

The Capitals' passing on the play put the Oilers' defense in a blender, with McMichael finishing off a shot from between the circles at 19:45 of the second period to stretch the lead to 5-1. It was his 20th goal of the season -- this is the first time the 24-year-old has reached that mark. He's earned three goals and four assists over his last seven outings, and he's up to 43 points, 124 shots on net and a plus-21 rating as a fixture in the Capitals' top six this season.

  • Pius Suter C | STL

Canucks' Pius Suter: Notches power-play assist

Suter logged a power-play assist in Sunday's 2-1 loss to Utah.

Suter has three goals and three assists over his last nine outings. The 28-year-old has settled in as a third-line center, though his power-play role often sees him among the Canucks' top forwards for ice time. He's up to 26 points (four on the power play), 88 shots on net, 31 hits and a plus-2 rating across 56 appearances this season. Suter's not a physical player, so he needs to be consistent on offense to make an impact in fantasy.

  • Canucks' Elias Pettersson: Deals power-play helper

Pettersson logged a power-play assist in Sunday's 2-1 loss to Utah.

Pettersson set up a Jake DeBrusk tally in the second period. The goal drought continues for Pettersson -- he's come up empty on 17 shots over his last 11 games, and that low of a volume is concern enough. He's at least salvaged some offense with five assists in that span, but that's not enough for a top-line center. He's now at 35 points, 93 shots on net, 60 blocked shots, 47 hits and a minus-4 rating across 51 appearances.
