Josh Manson D | COL
Avalanche's Josh Manson: Plucks apple in loss
Manson logged an assist, four hits and two PIM in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Jets.
The helper was Manson's third in his last nine games. The 34-year-old blueliner continues to fill a bottom-four role for the Avalanche, offering plenty of toughness and a little scoring upside as well. He's put up 29 points, 110 shots on net, 163 hits, 93 blocked shots, 89 PIM and a plus-39 rating over 72 appearances. Manson likely won't match his career high of 37 points from 80 games with the Ducks in 2017-18, but there's no denying he's been good in his role this year.

Elias Salomonsson D | WPG
Jets' Elias Salomonsson: Pockets assist in win
Salomonsson notched an assist and three hits in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Avalanche.
Salomonsson has made himself a fixture in the Jets' lineup since late January. He's earned four helpers, 31 hits, 13 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating over 15 appearances in March, offering a little offense to go with emerging defensive stability in a bottom-four role, though he was seeing heavier minutes when the Jets' blue line was banged up. Salomonsson has five points, 36 shots on net, 47 hits, 27 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating over 30 appearances this season.

Spencer Stastney D | EDM
Oilers' Spencer Stastney: Losing playing time
Stastney was scratched for the fourth game in a row in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Ducks.
Stastney has been scratched seven times in March. It appears Ty Emberson has picked up the slack on the blue line for now, though he's far from secure to stay in the lineup. Stastney has gone 13 contests without a point, leaving him stuck at 10 points, 56 shots on net, 63 blocked shots and a minus-11 rating over 66 appearances between Edmonton and Nashville this season. Stastney has just one point, a goal, in 36 games for the Oilers, despite his average ice time of 16:02 being 1:10 more per game than he saw with the Predators prior to a December trade.

Ben Hutton D | LV
Golden Knights' Ben Hutton: Makes rare appearance
Hutton went minus-1 in 12:29 of ice time in Saturday's 5-4 shootout loss to the Capitals.
Hutton played for just the third time since the Olympic break. The defenseman's playing time has dropped significantly since the Golden Knights have been at full health for the better part of a month. He's earned 15 points, 69 shots on net, 51 blocked shots and a plus-3 rating over 53 appearances this season, his most productive campaign since he had 16 points in 65 outings for the Kings in 2019-20.

Rasmus Andersson D | LV
Golden Knights' Rasmus Andersson: Earns two points in shootout loss
Andersson scored a shorthanded goal on two shots, dished an assist, added two PIM, blocked two shots and went plus-2 in Saturday's 5-4 shootout loss to the Capitals.
Andersson earned his second multi-point effort as a Golden Knight with this performance. The defenseman has maintained a decent share of playing time, but he's been listed on the third pairing in recent weeks. He's up to 40 points on the season (14 goals, 26 helpers), a mark he missed in each of the previous two campaigns. He's added 158 shots on net, 136 blocked shots, 33 hits, 69 PIM and a minus-2 rating over 73 appearances.

Cole Hutson D | WAS
Capitals' Cole Hutson: Earns first multi-point game
Hutson logged two power-play assists and two shots on goal in Saturday's 5-4 shootout win over the Golden Knights.
Hutson has had little trouble adjusting to the NHL so far, earning a goal and four assists, all on the power play, over his first six games. The 19-year-old defenseman has added eight shots on net, eight hits and a minus-2 rating. Hutson is seeing sheltered minutes on the third pairing for now, especially since the Capitals' blue line is a strength for the team, but his upside is already obvious. He'll be a popular late-round dart throw in fantasy drafts next fall for managers who expect him to follow the example his older brother, Lane Hutson, established as a rookie in 2024-25 with the Canadiens.

Victor Mancini D | VAN
Canucks' Victor Mancini: Records first point of season
Mancini notched an assist, three shots on goal, two hits and two blocked shots in Saturday's 7-3 loss to the Flames.
The helper was Mancini's first point of the campaign. The 23-year-old defenseman is poised to compete for third-pairing minutes to close out this season. He has 11 shots on net, 26 hits, 25 blocked shots and a minus-10 rating over 20 appearances with the low-scoring Canucks in 2025-26.

Hunter Brzustewicz D | CGY
Flames' Hunter Brzustewicz: Collects pair of helpers
Brzustewicz registered two assists, including one on the power play, and added two hits and a plus-2 rating in Saturday's 7-3 win over the Canucks.
Brzustewicz has three assists over the last four contests. He's played in seven straight games and should have a clear path to stay into the lineup since Joel Hanley (upper body) is set to miss the rest of the season and Yan Kuznetsov (upper body) is still battling his injury. Brzustewicz has collected five points, 26 shots on net, 14 blocked shots, 14 hits, six PIM and a plus-1 rating over 26 appearances as a rookie this season.
-
Olli Maatta D | CGY
Flames' Olli Maatta: Earns pair of points in win
Maatta scored a goal on two shots, dished an assist, went plus-2 and blocked two shots in Saturday's 7-3 win over the Canucks.
Maatta has two goals and five points over his last three contests. The 31-year-old defenseman continues to thrive with the Flames, who have given him a top-four role where his veteran experience can shelter the team's prospects. Maatta has 10 points over 12 outings with the Flames, giving him 11 points, 27 shots on net, 42 blocked shots and a minus-4 rating over 34 appearances between Calgary and Utah on the year.

Zayne Parekh D | CGY
Flames' Zayne Parekh: Earns first career multi-point game
Parekh scored a power-play goal on two shots, dished an assist and added two PIM in Saturday's 7-3 win over the Canucks.
The first-period helper was his first even-strength point of the campaign. He then secured his first career multi-point outing with a goal late in the second period. Parekh is at six points, 31 shots on net, 20 blocked shots and a minus-3 rating over 28 appearances. The 20-year-old defenseman is seeing sheltered minutes this season, but he looks to be growing in confidence on offense with four points over the last five games.
