  • Senators' Jake Sanderson: Plates two helpers in win

Sanderson recorded two assists, placed two shots on net and recorded three blocked shots in Saturday's 4-1 win over New Jersey.

Sanderson was heavily involved in the third period, as he recorded a power-play assist just 37 seconds into the period before later assisting Shane Pinto's empty-net goal. The pair of helpers bring Sanderson up to 34 assists and 44 points, to go with 114 shots on net and 107 blocked shots across 54 games this season. The 23-year-old blueliner is currently tied for seventh in points among NHL defensemen and hasn't shown any signs of slowing down, with 11 points in his last nine games. Sanderson is on track to shatter his career best of 57 points, which he compiled across 80 regular-season games a year ago, making him a high-level fantasy option in all league formats.

  • Rangers' Vladislav Gavrikov: Two points in Saturday's loss

Gavrikov produced an even-strength goal and a shorthanded assist in Saturday's 6-5 loss to the Penguins.

Both points came in the third period as the Rangers tried to rally from a 5-1 deficit. Gavrikov is taking advantage of the latest absence for Adam Fox (lower body), and over the last seven games, the 30-year-old Russian has delivered two goals and six points, including one goal and two assists on the power play.

  • Flames' MacKenzie Weegar: Pockets assist in win

Weegar notched an assist, four shots on goal and four blocked shots in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Sharks.

Weegar snapped an 11-game point drought with the helper. He went minus-14 with 20 hits, 33 blocked shots and 20 shots on net in that span. This has been a season to forget for Weegar, who is now at 17 points with 121 shots, 123 hits, 125 blocks, 65 PIM and a minus-31 rating over 54 appearances. He's currently on the first power-play unit, but don't be surprised if Zayne Parekh or Hunter Brzustewicz take over that role by the end of the campaign. Weegar's lack of offense has been tough to handle in fantasy, but his non-scoring production has at least raised his floor a bit.

  • Brock Faber D | MIN

Wild's Brock Faber: Earns two points in win

Faber scored a goal, added an assist, blocked four shots, served two PIM and went plus-3 in Saturday's 7-3 win over the Oilers.

Faber closed out January with four goals and 10 helpers, as well as a plus-9 rating and 28 blocked shots, over 15 appearances. The 23-year-old defenseman is taking his game to new heights on the Wild's top pairing with Quinn Hughes. Faber is up to a career-best 12 goals while adding 23 assists, 119 shots on net, 116 blocked shots and a plus-18 rating through 56 contests this season.

  • Quinn Hughes D | MIN

Wild's Quinn Hughes: Two-point effort in win

Hughes scored a goal on three shots, added a power-play assist and went plus-4 in Saturday's 7-3 win over the Oilers.

Hughes ended January on an eight-game point streak, collecting two goals and 11 assists in that span. The 26-year-old defenseman is up to five goals, 52 points (23 on the power play), 136 shots on net, 58 blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating through 50 appearances between the Wild and the Canucks this season. Hughes remains one of the best defensemen in the NHL and a set-and-forget fantasy starter.

  • Canucks' Tom Willander: Scores in Saturday's loss

Willander scored a goal Saturday in a 3-2 shootout loss to Toronto.

The young defender has four points, including two goals, in his last five games. Willander has remained productive despite the team's struggles. He has amassed four goals, 12 assists, 41 blocked shots and 39 shots in 43 outings during his rookie season.

  • Maple Leafs' Oliver Ekman-Larsson: Two assists in last three games

Ekman-Larsson picked up an assist Saturday in a 3-2 shootout win over the Canucks.

He has two assists in his last three games. Ekman-Larsson has eight goals, 25 assists and 80 shots in 55 games this season. He has just three power-play helpers, but that could change with Morgan Rielly's upper-body injury in the second period of Saturday's game. Rielly will be re-evaluated Sunday. OEL has the chops to deliver in that role.

  • Stars' Thomas Harley: Strikes on power play

Harley scored a power-play goal on three shots and went minus-2 in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Mammoth.

Harley has two goals and five points over his last six contests. The defenseman opened the scoring just 2:11 into the game. Harley's had a challenging year overall, but he's warming up. He's at four goals, 21 points (five on the power play), 68 shots on net, 100 blocked shots and a minus-4 rating across 43 outings in a top-four role.

  • Tyler Tucker D | STL

Blues' Tyler Tucker: Finds twine Saturday

Tucker scored a goal and blocked two shots in Saturday's 5-3 loss to the Blue Jackets.

Tucker had five points over 14 contests in January, including a goal and an assist over his last three games. This was his most productive month of the campaign, largely because he's been able to stay in the lineup without getting healthy scratched. He's now at three goals, 11 points, 53 shots on net, 74 hits, 37 blocked shots, 56 PIM and a minus-7 rating through 50 appearances while filling a bottom-four role.

  • Blue Jackets' Ivan Provorov: Gathers helper Saturday

Provorov logged a power-play assist and three blocked shots in Saturday's 5-3 win over the Blues.

The latter half of January wasn't kind to Provorov's offense. His helper Saturday ended an eight-game point drought, during which he had 21 shots on net and a plus-5 rating. The 29-year-old defenseman is at 19 points (three on the power play), 110 shots on net, 92 blocked shots and a plus-12 rating through 54 appearances. He plays a shutdown role, but he could still challenge for the 30-point mark if his offense comes back around.
