Wild's Jared Spurgeon: Collects two points in win
Spurgeon scored a goal, added an assist, blocked six shots and went plus-2 in Monday's 5-2 win over the Golden Knights.
This was Spurgeon's first multi-point effort of the campaign. The 36-year-old defenseman has chipped in offense in small bursts and is still on the second power-play unit, but most of his work has come in more of a shutdown role. For the year, he's produced three goals, 11 points, 45 shots on net, 81 blocked shots, 51 hits and a plus-4 rating over 40 appearances.

Mikhail Sergachev D | UTA
Mammoth's Mikhail Sergachev: Deposits goal Monday
Sergachev scored a goal on three shots in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Predators.
Sergachev had posted six assists during a 10-game goal drought. That slump ended with a second-period tally to briefly give the Mammoth a 2-1 lead. The defenseman continues to be steady on the top pairing this year. He's at five goals, 26 points, 86 shots on net, 72 blocked shots, 21 hits, 24 PIM and a minus-8 rating through 40 appearances as Utah's top blueliner.

Roman Josi D | NSH
Predators' Roman Josi: Tallies in Monday's win
Josi scored a goal on three shots, blocked two shots and went plus-2 in Monday's 4-3 win over the Mammoth.
Josi has scored twice in the last three games, adding 12 shots on net in that span. The 35-year-old defenseman provided the first of three game-tying tallies for Nashville in this contest. Josi is up to four goals, 17 points, 68 shots, 38 blocks, 16 PIM and a minus-7 rating through 26 appearances. While he hasn't been in peak form, his large role, especially on the power play, remains a perk for fantasy managers.

Brendan Smith D | CLB
Blue Jackets' Brendan Smith: Exits game in final frame
Smith (lower body) didn't finish Monday's game in Ottawa after leaving in the third period without putting weight on his right leg, Aaron Portzline of The Athletic reports.
There was no official update from the Blue Jackets on Smith's status. The 36-year-old defenseman will probably be fully evaluated Tuesday in Columbus ahead of Wednesday's home game versus New Jersey.

Josh Morrissey D | WPG
Jets' Josh Morrissey: Playing against Oilers
Morrissey (undisclosed) is available for Monday's home matchup against Edmonton.
Morrissey will avoid missing his first game of the season after getting hurt Saturday against the Wild. The left-shot defenseman will skate on the No. 1 pairing alongside Dylan DeMelo and quarterback the top power-play unit.

K'Andre Miller D | CAR
Hurricanes' K'Andre Miller: Returning to lineup
Miller (lower body) will draw into the lineup for Monday's home contest against the Rangers, per Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site.
While Shayne Gostisbehere (groin) won't be available Monday, the Hurricanes will get Miller back in the lineup after a brief one-game absence. Miller is set to fill a second-pairing role next to Jalen Chatfield against the Rangers, while Alexander Nikishin and Sean Walker will comprise the No. 1 pairing.

Shayne Gostisbehere D | CAR
Hurricanes' Shayne Gostisbehere: Unavailable Monday
Gostisbehere (groin) will be sidelined for Monday's home divisional matchup against the Rangers, according to Jim Cerny of NHL.com.
Gostisbehere is set to miss his first game since Nov. 9 in Toronto. The left-shot blueliner has provided ample offense since then, earning three goals and 22 points over his last 22 appearances. Gostisbehere's next opportunity to suit up will be in the second half of a back-to-back Tuesday in Pittsburgh.

Ryan Graves D | PIT
Penguins' Ryan Graves: Will be waived
Graves will be waived Tuesday for the purposes of sending him to AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, per Seth Rorabaugh of Tribune-Review Sports.
Graves has one point (a goal) in 17 appearances with Pittsburgh this season and has spent the past six games as a healthy scratch. The Penguins are trying to move him to the minors because they need a roster spot after acquiring Yegor Chinakhov from Columbus.

Shayne Gostisbehere D | CAR
Hurricanes' Shayne Gostisbehere: Game-time decision
Gostisbehere (groin) will be a game-time decision against the Rangers on Monday, Adam Gold of 99.9 The Fan Raleigh reports.
Gostisbehere skipped Sunday's practice for maintenance and could miss at least one game due to a tweaked groin. With K'Andre Miller (lower body) a game-time decision to face the Rangers as well, Carolina recalled Gavin Bayreuther from AHL Chicago on Monday to provide some insurance for the blue line.
