Dahlin recorded two assists and a plus-3 rating in Friday's 9-3 win over the Blackhawks.
Dahlin has seven helpers over four games since returning from a personal absence. The 25-year-old defenseman is up to 16 points, 45 shots on net, 24 blocked shots, 13 hits and a minus-5 rating over 18 appearances. He's not playing as much of a physical game as in years past, but his all-around production remains fairly strong, especially with a great pace on offense.

Sabres' Mattias Samuelsson: Tallies again in win
Samuelsson scored a goal and went plus-3 in Friday's 9-3 win over the Blackhawks.
Samuelsson is on a four-game point streak -- his second of the year -- in which he's earned three goals and two assists. It's a strong run for the 25-year-old defenseman, who has gone from a potential depth defenseman to a top-four lock this year. He's at 11 points, 24 shots on net, 25 hits, 43 blocked shots and a plus-7 rating over 19 appearances, which puts him just three points shy of matching last year's production from 62 games.

Sabres' Jacob Bryson: Pair of points in win
Bryson scored a goal, dished an assist and went plus-3 in Friday's 9-3 win over the Blackhawks.
Bryson was one of nine Sabres to earn multiple points in the blowout win. The 28-year-old defenseman has done little on offense this year, but he's become a regular on the third pairing since Michael Kesselring (lower body) exited the lineup. Bryson has three points, two shots on net, six blocked shots, four PIM and a plus-1 rating over 11 outings.

Sabres' Bowen Byram: Goal, assist in big win
Byram scored a power-play goal on four shots, added an assist and blocked two shots in Friday's 9-3 win over the Blackhawks.
Byram has collected three goals and three assists over his last six games. His tally was his first power-play point since Oct. 22 versus the Red Wings. The defenseman also took a hard fall during this contest, but he was able to return, finishing with 18:01 of ice time. For the year, he has 11 points, 32 shots on net, 28 blocked shots, 14 hits and a minus-7 rating across 21 appearances.

Red Wings' Simon Edvinsson: Not playing Saturday
Edvinsson (illness) won't play against Columbus on Saturday, per Ansar Khan of MLive.com.
Edvinsson wasn't on the ice for pregame warmups and will miss at least one game. He has provided three goals, six points, 25 shots on net, 48 blocked shots and 25 hits across 21 appearances this season. Edvinsson will be replaced in Saturday's lineup by Jacob Bernard-Docker.

Predators' Roman Josi: Ready to rock
Josi (upper body) has been activated from injured reserve and will return to the lineup Saturday versus Colorado, according to Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site.
Josi missed 12 games with the injury. The talented blueliner will be on the first pairing and top power-play unit against the Avalanche. He had a goal and four assists in eight games before he was hurt. Josi had 85 points in the 2023-24 regular season and is more than capable of averaging a point per game the rest of the campaign.

Oilers' Jake Walman: Deemed day-to-day
Walman (undisclosed) has been ruled out of Saturday's game in Florida, Tony Brar of Oilers TV reports.
Walman is day-to-day and could be back within a week, according to head coach Kris Knoblauch. The Oilers host Dallas on Tuesday before visiting Seattle next Saturday, but it's unclear exactly when Walman will be ready to return. He has three goals and seven assists in 17 games this season, but has been without a point in his last six outings.

Senators' Thomas Chabot: Removed from IR
Chabot (upper body) was activated from injured reserve Saturday, per the NHL media site.
Following a three-game absence, Chabot is poised to return to the lineup against San Jose on Saturday. He has collected two goals, 10 points, 19 shots on net, 35 blocked shots and 11 hits across 17 appearances this season. The Senators returned Lassi Thomson to AHL Belleville on Saturday to make room for Chabot on the roster.

Thomson was reassigned to AHL Belleville on Saturday.
Thomson was a healthy scratch in Thursday's 3-2 win over Anaheim after being recalled from the AHL on Tuesday. The 25-year-old has played 18 career games in the NHL, the last one coming during the 2022-23 campaign.
