Spurgeon (rest) won't be in the lineup against Anaheim on Tuesday, Dylan Loucks of The Hockey News reports.

Spurgeon played in Monday's 6-3 defeat against St. Louis after sitting out Saturday's 2-1 loss to Nashville. He will get some additional rest before the start of the playoffs. Spurgeon will finish the 2025-26 regular season with six goals, 22 points, 90 shots on net, 137 blocked shots and 82 hits in 79 outings.

Hughes (rest) won't play Tuesday versus the Ducks, Dylan Loucks of The Hockey News reports.

Hughes ends the regular season at 76 points in 74 appearances between Minnesota and Vancouver. Considering he also averaged 27:44 of ice time per game, it makes sense that the Wild will give him a full week off ahead of the playoffs.

Brodin (undisclosed) will play against Anaheim on Tuesday, according to Dylan Loucks of The Hockey News.

Brodin sat out Monday's 6-3 loss to St. Louis, but he will play in Minnesota's regular-season finale. He has generated four goals, 19 points, 75 shots on net and 124 blocked shots in 61 appearances this campaign.

Sandin (leg) won't play against the Blue Jackets on Tuesday, Sammi Silber of The Hockey News reports.

Sandin will miss his second straight game. He will finish the 2025-26 regular season with five goals, 29 points, 90 shots on net, 127 blocked shots and 88 hits in 73 appearances.

McAvoy (rest) will play in Tuesday's home clash against New Jersey, per Scott McLaughlin of WEEI.

After receiving a game of rest once the Bruins qualified for a wild-card spot, McAvoy will return to the lineup for the team's regular-season finale. Across 68 games this season, he's been excellent with 50 assists, 61 points, 111 shots on net, 79 hits and 124 blocked shots. He'll step back into Boston's top defensive pairing Tuesday and will have a tune-up game prior to the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Lindholm (rest) is expected to be in the lineup Tuesday versus the Devils, Scott McLaughlin of WEEI reports.

Lindholm rested Sunday versus the Blue Jackets but doesn't appear to be missing the regular-season finale. Heading into the playoffs, he'll likely fill a top-four role. He has 25 points over 66 outings this season.

Walker (undsiclosed) will not play in Tuesday's road clash against the Islanders.

Walker was ruled out close to game time, indicating that he, along with many of Carolina's regular starters, will rest before the postseason. The 31-year-old blueliner was hot prior to Tuesday's game with a six-game point streak. Overall, he has nine goals, 31 points, 179 shots on net, 141 hits and 125 blocked shots across 81 games this season. He'll miss his first game of the campaign Tuesday and just his third regular-season game over the last three years. Walker will likely return to one of Carolina's top defensive pairs ahead of their first-round matchup in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Gostisbehere (undisclosed) is not listed among the Hurricanes' scratches for Tuesday versus the Islanders, indicating he'll play in the contest.

Gostisbehere was initially projected to be out, but he was on the ice for warmups while Sean Walker was not. Gostisbehere should see some power-play time, but he could have his minutes managed since this game has no impact on the standings.

Chatfield (undisclosed) won't play Tuesday versus the Islanders.

Chatfield has been battling a lower-body injury recently, though this undisclosed label suggests he is simply resting. Expect the 29-year-old shutdown defenseman back in action for Game 1 of the playoffs.
