Jacob Trouba D | ANA
Ducks' Jacob Trouba: Not playing against Toronto
Trouba is day-to-day with a lower-body injury and will not play Sunday versus the Maple Leafs.
Oliver Kylington will draw into the lineup Sunday in Trouba's stead. The 31-year-old Trouba has accounted for one goal, 13 helpers, 64 PIM, 102 shots on goal, 192 blocked shots, 156 hits and a minus-3 rating over 71 appearances between the Rangers and Ducks this season. Anaheim's next game is Tuesday against San Jose.

Mattias Ekholm D | EDM
Oilers' Mattias Ekholm: Won't play Tuesday
Ekholm (undisclosed) won't travel with the Oilers for the start of their road trip that begins Tuesday against the Golden Knights, Derek Van Diest of NHL.com reports.
Ekholm has missed the last two games due to an undisclosed injury, and his absence will extend to three games Tuesday. The Oilers will play four games on their road trip, culminating with a matchup against the Ducks on April 7. However, it's not yet clear whether Ekholm will rejoin the team during that time. Ty Emberson should continue to see playing time for the Oilers while Ekholm is sidelined.

John Klingberg D | SJ
Oilers' John Klingberg: Dealing with lower-body injury
Klingberg (lower body) won't be available for the beginning of Edmonton's upcoming four-game road trip, Derek Van Diest of NHL.com reports Sunday.
Klingberg suffered a setback after returning to the lineup against Seattle on Thursday following a 10-game absence. He has been dealing with a lingering injury and will miss additional time, but the Oilers hope he can join the team on the road. Klingberg has one goal, three assists, 19 shots on net, 13 blocked shots and five hits in 11 appearances this season.

Olli Maatta D | CGY
Hockey Club's Olli Maatta: Not playing Sunday
Maatta (lower body) won't play against Chicago on Sunday.
Maatta will miss at least one game after being injured in Friday's 2-1 overtime loss to Florida. He has accounted for two goals, 15 points, 61 shots on net and 112 blocked shots in 63 appearances this season. Nick DeSimone will replace Maatta in Sunday's lineup.

Rasmus Dahlin D | BUF
Sabres' Rasmus Dahlin: Set to play
Dahlin (illness) is expected to play versus the Capitals on Sunday.
Dahlin will return to the top pairing and first power-play unit after missing Saturday's 7-4 loss to Philadelphia. He has accounted for 13 goals, 57 points, 172 shots on net, 91 blocked shots and 86 hits through 63 appearances this season. With Dahlin available to play, Jacob Bryson and Jack Rathbone will be healthy scratches versus Washington.

Artem Zub D | OTT
Senators' Artem Zub: Secures assist Saturday
Zub logged an assist, two shots on goal and two blocked shots in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Blue Jackets.
Zub helped out on Drake Batherson's first-period tally. Over 14 games in March, Zub has racked up three assists, a plus-5 rating and 27 blocked shots. The 29-year-old blueliner serves as a shutdown defenseman in a top-four role, so he shouldn't be expected to do much on offense. He's at 11 points, 49 shots on net, 49 hits, 100 blocks, 26 PIM and a minus-2 rating over 47 appearances this season.

Zach Bogosian D | MIN
Wild's Zach Bogosian: Snags helper Saturday
Bogosian contributed an assist in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Devils.
Bogosian has been moderately productive with four helpers and a plus-3 rating over his last six games. The defenseman remains in a third-pairing role with limited ice time, which is where he's been for the bulk of 2024-25. He's produced 16 points -- his most in a campaign since 2018-19 when he had 19 points for the Sabres. Bogosian has added 73 shots on net, 73 hits, 77 blocked shots, 41 PIM and an even plus-minus rating over 73 outings this season.

Kurtis MacDermid LW | OTT
Devils' Kurtis MacDermid: Crowded out of lineup
MacDermid has played in just two of the Devils' last 22 games after being scratched Saturday versus the Wild.
MacDermid doesn't stand much of a chance at getting playing time unless the Devils rest their regulars once they clinch a playoff spot. The 31-year-old is one of 15 healthy forwards on the roster, and Cody Glass (undisclosed) is day-to-day. MacDermid has not recorded a point in 22 appearances, adding 23 PIM and 38 hits while averaging just 5:40 of ice time per game as an old-school enforcer.

Alec Martinez D | CHI
Blackhawks' Alec Martinez: Remains unavailable
Martinez (hip) won't play against Utah on Sunday, according to Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times.
Despite participating in Saturday's practice, Martinez will miss his fourth straight game. He has contributed five goals, 12 points, 36 shots on net, 80 blocked shots and 23 hits in 43 appearances this season. Due to Martinez's absence, Sam Rinzel will make his NHL debut versus Utah on Sunday.

Ryan Suter D | STL
Blues' Ryan Suter: Posts helper in Saturday's win
Suter notched an assist in Saturday's 2-1 win over the Avalanche.
Suter ended an eight-game point drought with the helper. The 40-year-old defenseman hasn't been asked to do much lately -- Nick Leddy has largely picked up the extra minutes in Colton Parayko's (knee) absence. Suter is now at 14 points, 57 shots on net, 94 blocked shots and a plus-7 rating across 75 appearances as a reliable third-pairing blueliner.
