  • Owen Power D | BUF

Sabres' Owen Power: Assists in consecutive contests

Power logged a power-play assist, three shots on goal and a minus-2 rating in Saturday's 7-4 loss to the Flyers.

Power has three helpers over six games since his three-point effort in Boston on March 17. The 22-year-old defenseman continues to chip in decent offense in a top-four role after shaking off a slump in early March. For the season, he's at a career-high 38 points with 131 shots on net, 103 blocked shots and a minus-13 rating through 72 appearances.

  • Sabres' Jack Rathbone: Brought up from AHL

Rathbone was recalled from AHL Rochester on Sunday.

Rathbone has five goals and 20 points in 56 minor-league outings this season. Jacob Bryson will probably play against Washington on Sunday if Rasmus Dahlin (illness) is unavailable, but Rathbone will provide some additional depth.

  • Egor Zamula D | CLB

Flyers' Egor Zamula: Avoids scoreless month

Zamula registered an assist in Saturday's 7-4 win over the Sabres.

Zamula helped out on the first of two goals by Matvei Michkov in the contest. The helper was Zamula's first point in 14 games in March, and he's added 17 blocked shots and a minus-5 rating from the third pairing. The 25-year-old has had a steady role while Rasmus Ristolainen (upper body) has been sidelined. Zamula has mostly underwhelmed in 2024-25 with 15 points, 32 shots on net, 79 blocked shots and a minus-15 rating over 56 appearances, so most fantasy managers can do better for defensive depth.

  • Sabres' Rasmus Dahlin: Game-time decision

Dahlin (illness) will be a game-time decision versus Washington on Sunday, Paul Hamilton of WGR Sports Radio 550 reports.

Dahlin sat out Saturday's 7-4 loss to Philadelphia, but he feels much better and should participate in the pregame warmups. He has compiled 13 goals, 57 points, 172 shots on net, 91 blocked shots and 86 hits through 63 appearances this season. The Sabres recalled Jack Rathbone from AHL Rochester on Sunday, but Jacob Bryson could play versus the Capitals if Dahlin remains unavailable.

  • Hockey Club's Robert Bortuzzo: Activated from IR

Bortuzzo (lower body) was activated from injured reserve Sunday.

Bortuzzo will be available to return to the lineup against Chicago on Sunday after missing the last 35 games. He has contributed two assists, seven shots on goal, 26 blocked shots, 20 hits and 22 PIM in 16 appearances this season. Olli Maatta (lower body) will be a game-time decision against the Blackhawks, and Bortuzzo could replace him in Sunday's lineup.

  • Blue Jackets' Zach Werenski: Grabs two apples in loss

Werenski tallied two assists and registered five shots on goal in Saturday's 3-2 loss to Ottawa.

Werenski provided the primary assist on each of the Blue Jackets' goals. The 27-year-old blueliner has 52 assists, 72 points, 120 blocks and 261 shots on net in 71 games this season. Werenski is one of three defensemen who is on pace to finish the season above a point-per-game pace, and he'll likely be a nominee for the Norris Trophy this season. If Werenski can end the season on a strong run of points and put his recent six-game scoreless streak behind him, he can make a strong case for the award.

  • Olli Maatta D | CGY

Hockey Club's Olli Maatta: Game-time call Sunday

Maatta (lower body) will be a game-time decision against Chicago on Sunday, according to Utah radio broadcaster Mike Folta.

Maatta sustained an injury in Friday's 2-1 overtime loss to Florida. He has generated two goals, 15 points, 61 shots on net and 112 blocked shots in 63 appearances this season. If Maatta can't play versus the Blackhawks, Nick DeSimone could draw back into Sunday's lineup after being a healthy scratch for the last 17 games.

  • Senators' Jake Sanderson: Nets game-winning goal

Sanderson scored the go-ahead goal, fired four shots on net and blocked two shots in Saturday's 3-2 win over Columbus.

The 22-year-old's goal in the second period proved to be enough for the Senators to hold onto their lead for the win. Sanderson's eighth goal of the season brings him one point shy of reaching the 50-point mark for the first time in his career. He currently ranks 12th among defensemen in points and is fourth in points overall for the Senators. Sanderson had a successful March offensively with 13 points in 14 contests. He also has 29 shots on net and 23 blocked shots in that span, showcasing his fantasy value across multiple categories. Sanderson is a must-start on the blue line in fantasy with the fantasy playoffs in full swing.

  • Bruins' Michael Callahan: Dropped to AHL

Callahan was assigned to AHL Providence on Sunday.

Callahan has been a healthy scratch in three of the last six games. He hasn't earned a point in 14 NHL appearances this season while posting six shots on goal, 11 blocked shots and five hits.

  • Kings' Jacob Moverare: No clear path to playing time

Moverare was scratched for the 12th game in a row in Saturday's 3-1 loss to the Maple Leafs.

Moverare has no path to playing time currently, as long as the Kings' defense stays healthy. He may be above Kyle Burroughs in the pecking order should an injury arise, especially on the left side of the defense. However, Mikey Anderson, Vladislav Gavrikov and Joel Edmundson are locked in as the Kings' preferred left-shot blueliners. Moverare remains stuck at six points, 25 shots on net, 25 hits and 50 blocked shots through 42 appearances this season.
