  • Bruins' Nikita Zadorov: Unavailable Wednesday

Zadorov has returned to Boston due to a family matter, Fluto Shinzawa of The Athletic reports Wednesday.

The Bruins will play in Anaheim on Wednesday, so Zadorov won't be an option for that game. He has four goals, 17 points, 135 PIM, 183 hits and 96 blocks over 72 appearances in 2024-25. Ian Mitchell is projected to draw into the lineup due to Zadorov's absence.

  • Predators' Marc Del Gaizo: Lands on waivers

Del Gaizo was placed on waivers by the Predators on Wednesday, PuckPedia reports.

Del Gaizo spent nearly a month with the NHL club and recorded a goal, four assists, 23 hits and 15 blocked shots over 14 appearances during his current stint with Nashville. However, he'll head back to the minors if he goes unclaimed on waivers.

  • Capitals' Trevor van Riemsdyk: Reaches 20-point mark

Van Riemsdyk produced an assist and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Jets.

With the helper, van Riemsdyk reached the 20-point mark for the second time in three years. He's surged to the milestone, earning a goal and three assists over his last five outings. For the season, he has one goal, 19 helpers, 69 shots on net, 125 blocked shots and a plus-22 rating through 71 appearances as a defensive ace in the Capitals' bottom four.

  • Dylan DeMelo D | WPG

Jets' Dylan DeMelo: Secures helper Tuesday

DeMelo logged an assist and two blocked shots in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Capitals.

DeMelo has a helper in back-to-back games and four assists over his last nine outings. He won't do as much on offense as defense partner Josh Morrissey, but DeMelo is along for the ride in premium minutes. The 31-year-old blueliner has 18 points, 64 shots on net, 121 hits, 102 blocked shots and a plus-25 rating across 72 appearances this season.

  • Jets' Josh Morrissey: Deposits goal Tuesday

Morrissey scored a goal on three shots in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Capitals.

Morrissey has remained steady on offense with four goals and four assists, as well as 31 shots on net and 16 blocked shots, through 12 games in March. The 29-year-old defenseman has had to shoulder a slightly heavier load with Neal Pionk (lower body) out for the last six contests, a span in which Morrissey has averaged 26:17 of ice time per game, two minutes higher than his season average. Morrissey is at 12 goals, 55 points, 154 shots on net, 101 blocks and a plus-9 rating through 71 appearances. He's off the pace to match his 69-point effort from last year, but even a slight decline has done little to take the shine off his overall play.

  • Cam Fowler D | STL

Blues' Cam Fowler: Dishes two assists Tuesday

Fowler recorded a pair of assists and two shots on goal in Tuesday's 6-1 win over the Canadiens.

Fowler helped out on goals by Alexandre Texier and Zachary Bolduc, with the latter's tally coming on the power play. This snapped a three-game dry spell for Fowler, who has still managed nine assists over 12 appearances in March. For the season, the 33-year-old defenseman has 31 points, 72 shots on net, 79 blocked shots and a plus-6 rating over 59 outings between the Blues and the Ducks. That's a scoring pace in line with recent seasons, though his raw numbers are down due to time lost to an injury in November.

  • Blues' Philip Broberg: Best game of season Tuesday

Broberg notched one goal, three assists, a hit, two blocked shots and a plus-4 rating in Tuesday's 6-1 win over Montreal.

Broberg recorded his fourth multi-point game of the season Tuesday, but this outing was his best performance of the entire campaign, with the 23-year-old defender getting a hand in four of the team's six goals. Broberg continues to have a career-best season in his fourth year in the league, and he's up to 19 helpers and 27 total points across 60 appearances. He's not much of a fantasy option in most formats, particularly due to his role in the second defensive pairing, but he's getting the job done this season and is certainly turning heads with his play for a red-hot St. Louis team that has won seven games in a row.

  • Sabres' Jacob Bernard-Docker: Nets tying goal

Bernard-Docker scored a goal and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 3-2 win over the Senators.

Bernard-Docker has three points over three games since he entered the Sabres' lineup. His quick success in a third-pairing role could make it tough for Jacob Bryson to see much playing time down the stretch. Bernard-Docker is already one point shy of matching his production over 25 contests with the Senators prior to the trade deadline. Overall, the defenseman has seven points, 20 shots, 27 blocks, 24 hits and a plus-4 rating over 28 appearances this season.

  • Blue Jackets' Jake Christiansen: Available for Friday

Christiansen (upper body) has been medically cleared Wednesday and is an option to play Friday versus Vancouver, Mark Scheig of The Hockey Writers reports.

Christiansen has missed Columbus' past five games due to the injury. He has a goal, eight points, 47 hits and 64 blocks over 65 appearances in 2024-25. It's possible Christiansen will be a healthy scratch Friday, but if he does draw into the lineup, it would likely be as part of the third pairing.

  • Predators' Marc Del Gaizo: Two helpers in Tuesday's win

Del Gaizo picked up two assists in Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Hurricanes.

He had a hand in Luke Evangelista tallies in the second and third periods. Del Gaizo has taken on a significant role on Nashville's injury-plagued blue line -- over 14 games since his late-February recall from AHL Milwaukee, the 25-year-old has averaged 18:06 of ice time while producing a goal and five points, as well as 28 shots on net, 23 hits and 15 blocked shots.
