  • Oilers' John Klingberg: Not playing Monday

Klingberg (undisclosed) won't be in the lineup for Monday's matchup against the Sabres, Jamie Umbach of the Oilers' official site reports.

Klingberg remains day-to-day and will miss his third straight game. He has registered one goal, three assists, 17 shots on net, 12 blocked shots and four hits across 10 appearances this campaign. Once Mattias Ekholm (undisclosed) and Klingberg are ready to return to action, Klingberg might be a healthy scratch due to the acquisition of Jake Walman.

  • Oilers' Mattias Ekholm: Unavailable Monday

Ekholm (undisclosed) won't play against Buffalo on Monday, per Jamie Umbach of the Oilers' official site.

Ekholm is still day-to-day and will miss his third straight game. He has produced eight goals, 27 points, 134 shots on net, 86 blocked shots and 39 hits in 60 games this season. Due to Ekholm's absence, Jake Walman will skate alongside Evan Bouchard in Monday's lineup.

  • Sharks' Jimmy Schuldt: Recalled by NHL club

Schuldt was recalled by the Sharks on Monday.

Schuldt was sent down Friday, but he'll rejoin the Sharks following a brief stint in the AHL. He's made one appearance in the NHL this year, recording a hit and three shots on goal while logging 14:15 of ice time.

  • John Carlson D | ANA

Capitals' John Carlson: Tallies two helpers in win

Carlson provided two assists, had two shots on goal, blocked two shots and served two PIM in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Kraken.

Carlson dished out assists on Washington's second and third goals of the game which helped Dylan Strome and Connor McMichael find the back of the net. Overall, the 35-year-old Carlson has 38 assists, 42 points, 134 shots on net and 104 blocks in 64 outings this season. Washington's leader on the blue line has back-to-back games with at least one assist and a total of 13 helpers over his last 15 games. He is tied for 11th in the league in helpers and should be a steady source of offense for the rest of the season. Carlson has good value in all fantasy formats as he looks to match his point total of 52 from a season ago.

  • Penguins' Erik Karlsson: Adds another helper

Karlsson dished an assist and blocked two shots in Sunday's 3-1 win over Minnesota.

Karlsson's helper was on Sidney Crosby's first goal of the game in the third period. Overall, the 34-year-old Karlsson has 38 assists, 46 points, 160 shots on net and 80 blocks in 66 games this season. He is currently tied for 11th among blueliners in assists and ranks second for Pittsburgh. Karlsson has great value on the fantasy blue line for the rest of the season, and he should finish near his point total of 56 from a year ago.

  • Sabres' Jacob Bernard-Docker: Remains unavailable

Bernard-Docker (not injury related) won't be an option for Monday's matchup versus Edmonton, according to Heather Engel of NHL.com.

Bernard-Docker will miss his second straight game because of work visa issues. Before being traded to the Sabres, the 24-year-old defender had one goal, three assists, 18 shots on net, 25 blocked shots and 21 hits in 25 appearances with Ottawa this season. Once he receives clearance to play, Bernard-Docker may compete with Jacob Bryson or Connor Clifton for a spot in the lineup.

  • Capitals' Martin Fehervary: Grabs goal Sunday

Fehervary scored a goal and blocked three shots in Sunday's 4-2 win against the Kraken.

Fehervary's tally tied the game at one apiece less than a minute into the second period. The 25-year-old blueliner is up to four goals, 18 points, 113 hits and 129 blocks in 64 games this season. With Sunday's goal, Fehervary set a new career-high in points, passing the 17-point mark he set three seasons ago. He has performed strongly on Washington's third defensive pairing with Matt Roy. He provides category coverage for fantasy managers who don't need to focus on offense, and he ranks in the league's top 20 in blocks. Fehervary holds good value in deeper leagues due to his stat contributions across the board.

  • Dante Fabbro D | CLB

Blue Jackets' Dante Fabbro: Collects two points Sunday

Fabbro recorded a goal and an assist in Sunday's 7-3 win over the Rangers. He finished with two shots on goal, five blocked shots and a plus-2 rating.

Fabbro found the back of the net for the first time since Jan. 25, when he noticed a goal in a 3-2 overtime win over the Kings. This was also his first multi-point effort of the campaign. Even though the 26-year-old isn't known for being a reliable fantasy presence, he certainly turned heads with his play in Sunday's scoring barrage. One area in which Fabbro contributes consistently is the physical side of the game, as he's notched 50 hits and 115 blocked shots in his 50 contests between Columbus and Nashville so far this season.

  • Devils' Brenden Dillon: Finds assist in win

Dillon managed an assist in Sunday's 3-1 win over the Flyers.

Dillon ended his 13-game point drought with the secondary helper on Erik Haula's game-winning tally in the second period. The 34-year-old Dillon is still seeing a hearty share of ice time as a physical force on the blue line despite his lack of offense recently. He's at 13 points, 35 shots on net, 161 hits, 89 blocked shots, 65 PIM and a plus-13 rating over 65 appearances. He'll likely be tasked to handle extra shutdown duties, as Jonas Siegenthaler (lower body) and Dougie Hamilton (lower body) are both unavailable.

  • Adam Boqvist D | NYI

Islanders' Adam Boqvist: Grabs apple in loss

Boqvist notched an assist and two hits in Sunday's 4-1 loss to the Ducks.

On the lineup sheet, Boqvist was listed as the fourth-line center, but natural forwards Pierre Engvall and Marc Gatcomb handled the faceoff duties in the absence of Kyle MacLean (illness). That said, Boqvist took the same number of shifts (14) as his linemates, functionally working as a forward in the contest. That could be a way to get him or another of the Islanders' extra defensemen into the lineup more regularly down the stretch. Boqvist has four points over his last four outings and a total of 11 points, 37 shots on net, 15 blocked shots, 12 hits and a minus-6 rating through 29 appearances between the Islanders and the Panthers this season.
