  • Brent Burns D | COL

Hurricanes' Brent Burns: Puts up helper in loss

Burns notched an assist, two shots on goal, three blocked shots and two PIM in Tuesday's 3-2 loss to the Lightning.

Burns has five points over his last seven outings. He had a shot attempt redirected in by Jordan Staal midway through the third period of Tuesday's game, but the Lightning won with a Brayden Point goal in the final minute. Burns is at four goals, 10 helpers, 89 shots on net, 58 blocked shots and a minus-4 rating through 41 appearances in a top-four role.

  • Sharks' Timothy Liljegren: Deposits power-play goal

Liljegren scored a power-play goal in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to the Golden Knights.

Liljegren ended a six-game slump with the tally, which was his first goal since Nov. 29. The 25-year-old defenseman was scratched Dec. 19, but he's been in the lineup for the eight games since, so it appears he's regained some security while Shakir Mukhamadullin and Marc-Edouard Vlasic battle for the last spot on the blue line. Liljegren has eight points, 51 shots on net, 39 hits, 42 blocked shots, 18 PIM and a minus-7 rating over 31 appearances between the Sharks and the Maple Leafs in 2024-25.

  • Golden Knights' Shea Theodore: Bags two apples in win

Theodore logged two assists and two shots on goal in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Sharks.

Theodore helped out on goals by Mark Stone and Victor Olofsson, with the latter's tally coming on the power play. With five helpers and a plus-3 rating over his last five contests, Theodore continues to offer solid offense. The 29-year-old blueliner is up to 33 points (13 on the power play), 73 shots on net, 49 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating through 39 outings overall.

  • Golden Knights' Zach Whitecloud: Finds twine in win

Whitecloud scored a goal on two shots in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Sharks.

Whitecloud has been unusually productive lately with two goals and two assists over his last six games, going plus-5 in that span. The 28-year-old's role hasn't changed -- he's still on the third pairing with no power-play time -- so it doesn't seem likely he'll be able to keep up this recent pace. The blueliner has three goals, three assists, 34 shots on net, 49 hits, 52 blocked shots and a plus-6 rating through 33 appearances this season.

  • Ducks' Pavel Mintyukov: Earns power-play helper

Mintyukov notched a power-play assist, blocked three shots and added two PIM in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Flames.

Mintyukov was scratched for the previous two games, but he replaced Olen Zellweger in the lineup Tuesday. The two young blueliners appear to be competing for one spot in the lineup, though it's likely neither one will be sitting out for long, as they both need playing time for their development. Mintyukov has three helpers over his last outings and is up to nine points, 38 shots on net, 50 blocked shots, 34 hits and a minus-4 rating through 32 contests. While he can put up decent offense, the playing-time situation is less than ideal, making Mintyukov a risky option for most fantasy managers.

  • Ducks' Jackson LaCombe: Supplies helper in overtime loss

LaCombe notched an assist and seven shots on goal in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Flames.

LaCombe has gotten on the scoresheet in six of the last seven games (two goals, four assists). He helped out on an Alex Killorn tally in the second period of Tuesday's contest. LaCombe has cemented himself as a top-four blueliner this season, both by scoring and by showing some defensive skills. He's at 17 points, matching his total from 71 appearances in 2023-24, while adding 64 shots on net, 53 blocked shots and a plus-3 rating over just 33 outings in 2024-25.

  • Joel Hanley D | CGY

Flames' Joel Hanley: Two helpers in Tuesday's victory

Hanley logged a pair of assists and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Ducks.

Hanley has quietly overtaken Daniil Miromanov for a spot in the Flames' lineup. The 33-year-old Hanley has played in nine of the last 10 games, going plus-9 with 12 blocked shots in that span. The pair of assists accounted for his first offense through 15 appearances this season. He's a pure defender who is unlikely to see more than bottom-four minutes, so he's probably not going to do enough to make noise in fantasy.

  • Flames' MacKenzie Weegar: Two points on birthday

Weegar scored a goal on five shots and added an assist in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win over the Ducks.

Weegar earned a multi-point effort to celebrate his 31st birthday. The goal was his first since Dec. 5, and he had just four assists over the 12 contests between tallies. The defenseman has been steady in a top-four role this season with five goals, 22 points, 89 shots on net, 110 hits, 90 blocked shots and a plus-7 rating across 40 appearances.

  • Bruins' Jordan Oesterle: Losing playing time

Oesterle was scratched for the fifth time in six games when he sat out Tuesday's 4-0 loss to the Oilers.

Oesterle held a place in the lineup for much of December, but Parker Wotherspoon appears to have displaced Oesterle heading into the second half of the campaign. The 32-year-old Oesterle has three helpers, 16 shots on net, 27 blocked shots, 12 hits and an even plus-minus rating over 16 appearances. He'll likely be at risk of losing his roster spot once Hampus Lindholm (lower body) is ready to return -- there's no firm timeline for that, but Lindholm resumed skating Tuesday and will likely need another week or two at least to build back up after a lengthy layoff.

  • Lightning's Darren Raddysh: Two apples keep doctor away

Raddysh put up two assists in a 3-2 win over Carolina on Tuesday.

Raddysh has 14 points, including 13 assists, in 30 games this season. He's the lone defender on Tampa's second power-play unit, and one of Tuesday's helpers came with the man advantage. Unfortunately, Raddysh isn't a consistent producer in secondary categories (42 shots, 22 blocks, 13 hits), so his fantasy value is limited.
