The 26-year-old has a 14-15-3 record, .895 save percentage and 2.91 GAA through 32 appearances in 2024-25. The Lightning rank first in the NHL with 3.68 goals per game.

The Islanders are tied for 26th in the league with 2.67 goals per game, but they've played better recently, having gone 3-0-0 on their most recent road trip.

  • Dustin Wolf G | CGY

Flames' Dustin Wolf: Notches third straight win

Wolf turned aside 23 shots in Monday's 5-2 win over Chicago.

The Flames took a 3-1 lead into the first intermission and never looked back, with Wolf only allowing a Connor Bedard power-play tally over the final two periods. The 23-year-old netminder has won three straight starts and has only one regulation loss in his last nine, going 7-1-1 with a 1.99 GAA and a .929 save percentage over that stretch as he locks down the top job in the Calgary crease.

  • Flyers' Samuel Ersson: Hangs on for win Monday

Ersson stopped 20 shots in Monday's 4-3 win over the Panthers.

Florida jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first period, but Ersson buckled down and allowed only a Sam Reinhart power-play tally the rest of the way, giving the Flyers a chance to mount a comeback. Ersson is on a roll again, going 4-1-0 over his last five outings with a 1.51 GAA and a .939 save percentage despite a three-game absence at the beginning of January due to a lower-body injury.

  • Ville Husso G | ANA

Red Wings' Ville Husso: Starting versus San Jose

Husso will be in goal at home Tuesday versus the Sharks, according to Daniella Bruce of the Red Wings' official site.

Husso was brought up from AHL Grand Rapids on Wednesday on an emergency basis due to Alex Lyon dealing with an upper-body injury. Husso hasn't made a start with the Wings since Dec. 14. The Finnish netminder has struggled in 2024-25, owning a 1-4-2 record, .877 save percentage and 3.47 GAA. The Sharks sit 30th in the NHL with 2.53 goals per game.

  • Penguins' Tristan Jarry: In blue paint Tuesday

Jarry will patrol the home crease versus the Kraken on Tuesday, per Penguins play-by-play announcer Josh Getzoff.

  • Hurricanes' Frederik Andersen: Shifted to IR

Andersen (knee) was placed on injured reserve Tuesday.

Andersen's designation for IR is not expected to impact his recovery timeline, rather the move allowed the Canes to bring up Ty Smith in a corresponding transaction. The 35-year-old Andersen has been working with the team and could be back sooner rather than later, though the club figures to take a cautious approach to his return given his recent injury history.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Lead slips away late Monday

Bobrovsky made 25 saves in Monday's 4-3 loss to the Flyers.

The Panthers took a 2-1 lead into the third period, but two power-play goals for Philly in the first six minutes of the frame preceded a spectacular solo effort by Noah Cates on the game-winner. Bobrovsky has just one win in his first five January outings, going 1-3-1 despite a solid 2.62 GAA and .910 save percentage.

  • Capitals' Logan Thompson: In goal Tuesday

Thompson is slated to start in Tuesday's home matchup against the Ducks, Tarik El-Bashir of Monumental Sports Network reports.

Thompson was stellar in his last start, turning aside 32 of 33 shots in Saturday's 4-1 win over Nashville. The 27-year-old has a 3-0-1 record, .924 save percentage and 2.42 GAA through four appearances in January. Charlie Lindgren (upper body) landed on injured reserve Saturday, so Thompson will handle the bulk of the starts while the former works his way back to full health.

  • Blue Jackets' Daniil Tarasov: Set to start versus Philadelphia

Tarasov will defend the home crease against the Flyers on Tuesday, according to Aaron Portzline of The Athletic.

Tarasov was recalled from his conditioning stint with AHL Cleveland on Sunday. The 25-year-old hasn't made a start in the NHL since Dec. 28, and he hasn't won a game since Oct. 22. Columbus will have the rest advantage Tuesday -- Philadelphia is on the second half of a back-to-back.
