Samuel Ersson G | PHI
Flyers' Samuel Ersson: Facing Chicago
Ersson will guard the road goal versus the Blackhawks on Tuesday, Jackie Spiegel of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Ersson will look to snap a four-game skid. He's 0-2-2 with 14 goals allowed on 103 shots over that span. The Blackhawks are without both Connor Bedard (upper body) and Frank Nazar (upper body), so their offense will be significantly weakened, but Ersson's recent results aren't encouraging for fantasy purposes.

Joseph Woll G | TOR
Maple Leafs' Joseph Woll: Defending crease Tuesday
Woll will protect the home net against Pittsburgh on Tuesday, David Alter of The Hockey News reports.
Woll stopped 29 of 32 shots in a 5-3 loss to Nashville on Saturday, with the final two goals being empty-netters. He has a 5-4-1 record with a 2.46 GAA and a .921 save percentage through 10 appearances this season. Pittsburgh is tied for 15th in the league with 3.03 goals per game this year.

Adin Hill G | LV
Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Remains week-to-week
Hill (lower body) is still considered week-to-week, according to head coach Bruce Cassidy on Tuesday, Jesse Granger of The Athletic reports.
Hill was labeled week-to-week back in late October, and it seems that status hasn't changed over a two-month span. At this point, fantasy managers probably shouldn't expect the 29-year-old netminder to return before mid-January. Even once cleared to play, Hill's status as the No. 1 backstop in Vegas may be in question now that Carter Hart has been added to the squad.
-
Carter Hart G | LV
Golden Knights' Carter Hart: Leaves ice first Tuesday
Hart was the first goalie off the ice Tuesday, Sin Bin Vegas reports, indicating he'll be in goal at home versus San Jose.
Hart has made six appearances for the Knights since his suspension was lifted, posting a 3-1-2 record and a 2.56 GAA. While the 27-year-old netminder has been taking the bulk of the workload, six starts in nine outings, he may not be utilized as a true workhorse No. 1 in Vegas, especially once Adin Hill (lower body) is cleared to return.
-
Stuart Skinner G | PIT
Penguins' Stuart Skinner: Between pipes versus Leafs
Skinner will tend the twine for Tuesday's road tilt with Toronto, Jason Mackey of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
Skinner has underwhelmed since joining the Penguins, going 0-2-0 with a 4.25 GAA and an .810 save percentage in his two outings for his new club. If the 27-year-old backstop continues to struggle, the Pens may consider bringing Sergei Murashov up from the minors to compete for Skinner and Arturs Silovs.

Yaroslav Askarov G | SJ
Sharks' Yaroslav Askarov: Set to face Vegas
Askarov is expected to defend the road net against Vegas on Tuesday after being the first goalie off the ice at the morning skate, Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now reports.
Askarov has allowed three goals or more in each of his last six appearances, posting a 3-3-0 record over that span. He has gone 12-9-1 this season with a 3.22 GAA and a .900 save percentage through 22 outings. Vegas sits 18th in the league with 3.00 goals per game this year.

Karel Vejmelka G | UTA
Mammoth's Karel Vejmelka: Poised to start Tuesday
Vejmelka is expected to guard the cage for Tuesday's road tilt with Colorado, Brogan Houston of Deseret News Sports reports.
Vejmelka has consistently played a four-game-on, one-off schedule since mid-November, which means his next opportunity to start after Tuesday's contest may not come until Jan. 1 versus the Islanders. In his last 15 outings, the netminder is sporting an 8-6-0 record to go with one shutout and a 2.56 GAA.
-
Dustin Wolf G | CGY
Flames' Dustin Wolf: Starting versus Oilers
Wolf will be in goal on the road versus Edmonton on Tuesday, Derek Wills of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.
Wolf has just one loss in his last six outings, going 5-1-0 with a 2.17 GAA, one shutout and a .916 save percentage. After racking up 29 wins last year, a slow start to 2025-26 could see Wolf come up short of that threshold this time around. Still, Wolf figures to remain the workhorse No. 1 in Calgary.
-
Anton Forsberg G | LA
Kings' Anton Forsberg: Gives up three goals
Forsberg stopped 27 of 30 shots in Monday's 3-1 loss to the Blue Jackets.
Forsberg has started the last four games for the Kings, but the results haven't been encouraging -- he has three losses in that span (1-3-0) and has allowed at least three goals in each of those defeats. The Swede netminder has made 13 starts this season, going 5-5-3 with a 2.73 GAA and a .901 save percentage. He should remain as the Kings' No. 1 netminder as long as Darcy Kuemper (upper body) remains on injured reserve.

Jet Greaves G | CLB
Blue Jackets' Jet Greaves: Excellent vs. Kings
Greaves stopped 23 of 24 shots in Monday's 3-1 win over the Kings.
Greaves was beaten by Andrei Kuzmenko in the second period, but that would be the only goal he'd end up allowing in a dominant outing. This was a huge bounce-back performance for the 24-year-old netminder, who was coming off three straight outings with a save percentage below the .890 mark. On the season, Greaves owns a 9-9-5 record through 23 starts, posting a 2.69 GAA and a .906 save percentage.
