  • Canadiens' Kaapo Kahkonen: Called up to NHL

Kahkonen has been recalled from AHL Laval by the Canadiens, the team announced Sunday.

With Sam Montembeault (illness) not dressing Sunday, Kahkonen has been called up for the first time this season. The 29-year-old Kahkonen will serve as the backup to Jakub Dobes for the game against the Blues. Kahkonen has a 6-2-0 record with a 2.81 GAA and an .891 save percentage with AHL Laval this season.

  • Jakub Dobes G | MON

Canadiens' Jakub Dobes: Drawing start against St. Louis

Dobes will defend the home crease against the Blues on Sunday.

Dobes has been strong in his last two outings, posting a 1.39 GAA and .945 save percentage en route to back-to-back overtime victories. Although he started against the Maple Leafs on Saturday, he'll draw another start in the second half of the back-to-back set since Sam Montembeault has been ruled out due to an illness. Kaapo Kahkonen was called up from AHL Laval to serve as the backup for Sunday's game.

  • Stars' Jake Oettinger: Sunday starter

Oettinger will start Sunday's game against the Penguins, Stars radio analyst Bruce LeVine reports.

Oettinger can pull in front of Scott Wedgewood (back) for the league lead in goaltender wins if the Stars defeat Pittsburgh on Sunday. The 26-year-old Oettinger has 13 wins on the season to go along with a 2.52 GAA and a .908 save percentage. He faces a Penguins team that ranks ninth in the league with 3.19 goals per game. Pittsburgh will be playing without Evgeni Malkin (upper body).

  • Jet Greaves G | CLB

Blue Jackets' Jet Greaves: Starting in Washington

Greaves will guard the road goal against the Capitals on Sunday, per Jeff Svoboda of the Blue Jackets' official site.

Greaves will get the second half of the Blue Jackets' back-to-back after Elvis Merzlikins played in Saturday's 7-6 overtime loss to Florida. The 24-year-old Greaves has a 7-4-5 record this season with a 2.81 GAA and a .901 save percentage through 16 appearances. Washington ranks second in the league with 3.48 goals per game this campaign.

  • Avalanche's Mackenzie Blackwood: Hangs on for win

Blackwood made 24 saves on 26 attempts on goal in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Flyers.

After allowing two goals in the first 26 minutes of Sunday's contest, Blackwood shut down the Flyers down the stretch to grab his second consecutive win. With the victory, the 28-year-old netminder is up to an 8-1-1 record with a 2.21 GAA and a .920 save percentage through 10 games this season. He has four wins in his last five tries and has seen an uptick in playing time in the absence of Scott Wedgewood (back). Regardless of how the Avalanche divide up the playing time in goal, Blackwood remains a top-tier option in fantasy with Colorado off to a 21-2-6 start to the year. Wedgewood is expected to suit up Tuesday against the Predators, but the Avalanche have yet to name a starter in net for that game.

  • Penguins' Tristan Jarry: Sunday starter

Jarry will get the start Sunday against the Stars, Penguins play-by-play announcer Josh Getzoff reports.

Jarry has been magnificent this season and a major reason for Pittsburgh's surprisingly strong start. The 30-year-old has a 9-2-0 record with a 2.61 GAA and a .913 save percentage on the season. He'll put an undefeated 4-0-0 record since returning from a lower-body injury on the line against the Stars, who rank fourth in the league with 3.45 goals per game.

  • Avalanche's Scott Wedgewood: Will suit up Tuesday

Wedgewood (back) will suit up for Tuesday's game against the Predators, Corey Masisak of The Denver Post reports Sunday.

Mackenzie Blackwood started both ends of Colorado's back-to-back over the weekend while Wedgewood was sidelined. The 33-year-old Wedgewood's return means the Avalanche will have both of their regular goalies available Tuesday against the Predators. It remains to be seen which of the two goalies will get the start.

  • Trent Miner G | COL

Avalanche's Trent Miner: Sent back to AHL

Miner was reassigned to AHL Colorado by the Avalanche, the team announced Sunday.

Miner was up as the backup to Mackenzie Blackwood in the absence of Scott Wedgewood (back). With Wedgewood set to suit up Tuesday against the Predators, Miner will return to AHL Colorado, where the 24-year-old Miner is 4-1-0 with a 2.16 GAA and a .908 save percentage.

  • Islanders' David Rittich: Sunday starter

Rittich will start Sunday's game against the Panthers, Stefen Rosner of NHL.com reports.

After four straight starts by Ilya Sorokin, the net will be Rittich's on Sunday as the Islanders finish up a back-to-back. The 33-year-old Rittich has had a good season so far, holding a 6-2-1 record with a 2.61 GAA and a .901 save percentage. Rittich faces a Panthers team coming off a seven-goal performance against the Blue Jackets in its last game.

  • Carter Hart G | LV

Golden Knights' Carter Hart: Available for Sunday's game

Hart (lower body) will return to the lineup in Sunday's road game against the Rangers, SinBin Vegas reports.

Akira Schmid made 24 saves in a 3-0 shutout win against New Jersey on Friday, and Hart sat out the contest. Vegas returned Jesper Vikman to AHL Henderson on Sunday, paving the way for Hart's return. However, it's unclear who will start for the Golden Knights against the Rangers.
