  • Lukas Dostal G | ANA

    Ducks' Lukas Dostal: Facing Wild

Dostal will guard the road goal versus the Wild on Tuesday, per the NHL media site.

Dostal will face a vastly depleted Wild lineup, which sees nine players out of action. The Ducks still have positioning to play for, so they'll turn to their No. 1. Dostal has struggled in April, going 1-3-1 with 20 goals allowed on 120 shots over his last five games.

  • Hurricanes' Frederik Andersen: Roster technicality causes absence

Andersen was unavailable for Tuesday's game versus the Islanders due to a roster technicality, per the Islanders' game broadcast.

The Hurricanes really bungled their roster for this one. They intended to have Pyotr Kochetkov start, and he was on the ice for warmups but was not eligible to suit up. However, since he was dressed for warmups, that made Andersen ineligible to suit up. Andersen is apparently fine ahead of the postseason, but it's unclear how much he'll play now that Kochetkov is healthy and Brandon Bussi has shown skill to get wins throughout the campaign.

  • Hurricanes' Frederik Andersen: Not available Tuesday

Andersen (undisclosed) won't dress for Tuesday's game versus the Islanders.

Andersen was unavailable to dress and Pyotr Kochetkov was unavailable due to a roster technicality, leaving the Hurricanes with just one of their three goalies in uniform. Brandon Bussi will start the regular-season finale. Andersen may not see much time in the playoffs, but he may be able to suit up as the backup goalie depending on the severity of whatever issue he's dealing with.

  • Wild's Jesper Wallstedt: Patrolling home paint

Wallstedt will draw the home start in Tuesday's matchup against the Ducks, per Dylan Loucks of The Hockey News.

Wallstedt will look to bounce back after receiving a narrow loss in Saturday's road clash against the Predators. Overall, the 23-year-old netminder has a 17-9-6 record, a 2.63 GAA and a .914 save percentage across 34 appearances this season. Despite the loss in his most recent outing, he's played exceptionally well over the last month with a 1.97 GAA and a .927 save percentage across his last nine games. He'll face off against the full-strength Ducks, who aren't resting the majority of their players, making Tuesday's game a difficult one on paper for Wallstedt.

  • Capitals' Charlie Lindgren: Unavailable Tuesday

Lindgren (upper body) won't be in the lineup for Tuesday's road matchup against Columbus, per Sammi Silber of The Hockey News.

Lindgren will miss his fourth straight game. Clay Stevenson will start against the Blue Jackets, and Logan Thompson will serve as the backup. Lindgren will conclude the 2025-26 campaign with a 9-8-3 record, one shutout, a 3.52 GAA and an .879 save percentage in 21 appearances.

  • Hurricanes' Brandon Bussi: Tending twine Tuesday

Bussi will guard the road net against the Islanders on Tuesday, Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site reports.

Bussi is coming off a 21-save effort in Monday's 3-2 shootout loss to Philadelphia. He was a surprise starter for Tuesday's contest because Pyotr Kochetkov was ineligible to play due to a roster technicality.

  • Hurricanes' Pyotr Kochetkov: Ineligible to start Tuesday

Due to a roster technicality, Kochetkov won't defend the road net against the Islanders on Tuesday.

Carolina activated Kochetkov from injured reserve, and he will be available for the playoffs. Brandon Bussi will get the nod in Tuesday's regular-season finale versus the Islanders.

  • Hurricanes' Pyotr Kochetkov: Defending crease Tuesday

Kochetkov (hip) will be activated from injured reserve ahead of his start in Tuesday's road matchup against the Islanders, Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site reports.

Kochetkov hasn't played in the NHL since Dec. 20 against Tampa Bay due to hip surgery. He appeared in parts of two games with AHL Chicago on Friday and Sunday during a conditioning loan before being called up by the Hurricanes on Monday. Kochetkov has a 6-2-0 record with a 2.33 GAA and an .899 save percentage in nine NHL outings this campaign.

  • Eric Comrie G | WPG

Jets' Eric Comrie: Tending twine Tuesday

Comrie will draw Tuesday's road start against the Mammoth, per Ken Wiebe of The Winnipeg Free Press.

With the Jets eliminated from postseason contention, Winnipeg will turn to Comrie to give Connor Hellebuyck some rest. Overall, Comrie has a 12-9-1 record, a 2.95 GAA and an .894 save percentage across 23 appearances this season. Tuesday's appearance will be his second in the team's last three games after he appeared in relief of Hellebuyck on Saturday. Comrie will face off against the Mammoth, who should pose a good challenge for the 30-year-old netminder with their 12th-ranked 3.23 goals per game this season.

  • Flyers' Samuel Ersson: Starting regular-season finale

Ersson will start Tuesday's home game against the Canadiens.

Ersson has appeared in just one of the Flyers' last six games, but he'll draw the start in Tuesday's regular-season finale, likely to give Dan Vladar -- who will presumably serve as Philadelphia's top netminder in the playoffs -- a night off. Across eight outings since the Olympic break, Ersson has gone 5-1-0 with a 1.99 GAA and .908 save percentage.
