  • Predators' Justus Annunen: Gives up four goals

Annunen stopped 20 of 24 shots in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Jets. The fifth goal was an empty-netter with 21 seconds left in the game.

Annunen got the start in the second leg of his back-to-back set after Juuse Saros defeated the Blackhawks on Friday. Unfortunately for the Predators, Annunen was unable to replicate the results and was beaten four times en route to another defeat. Annunen has won in just one of his eight appearances this season, going 1-4-1 and allowing three or more goals in all but one of them.

  • Eric Comrie G | WPG

Jets' Eric Comrie: Snaps losing streak Saturday

Comrie stopped 20 of 22 shots in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Predators.

Comrie was coming off three straight losses, but it seems he needed a break. After sitting on the bench in a 5-1 loss to the Hurricanes on Friday, Comrie responded with one of his best performances of the campaign en route to a comfortable win over the Predators. The matchup was a favorable one on paper, but this should be a huge confidence booster for the 30-year-old netminder. Expect Comrie to remain as the Jets' starting goaltender as long as Connor Hellebuyck (knee) remains out.

  • Bruins' Jeremy Swayman: Posts 24 saves in win

Swayman stopped 24 of 26 shots in Saturday's 3-2 shootout win over the Red Wings.

Swayman extended his excellent stretch in this shootout win over the Red Wings. He's won three of his last four outings while allowing two or fewer goals each time. He's also conceded three or fewer goals in his past 10 contests while posting a save percentage of at least .900 each time. It wouldn't be a stretch to say Swayman has been among the best goaltenders in the Eastern Conference in November.

  • Cam Talbot G | DET

Red Wings' Cam Talbot: Makes 17 saves

Talbot stopped 17 of 19 shots in Saturday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Bruins.

Talbot returned to the crease after John Gibson played in a 6-3 loss to the Lightning on Friday. However, Talbot lost for a third straight outing despite the brief break. This negative stretch comes after a four-game winning streak. Talbot should continue as the Red Wings' No. 1 starter, but it's hard to trust him right now due to the inconsistencies he's showing on a game-to-game basis.

  • Wild's Filip Gustavsson: Loses in shootout

Gustavsson stopped 30 of 32 shots in Saturday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Sabres.

Gustavsson's three-game winning streak and the Wild's seven-game heater came to an end with this result. The 27-year-old played well, but goals by Beck Malenstyn and Josh Doan in regulation and three Sabres tallies on four attempts in the shootout sent Gustavsson to the defeat. The Swedish netminder is now 7-7-3 with a 2.74 GAA and a .905 save percentage over 17 starts this campaign. He's been splitting the crease with Jesper Wallstedt for most of November, and that arrangement has worked well for both netminders, giving the Wild one of the strongest goalie rooms in the league this season. A four-game road trip is ahead, beginning Tuesday in Edmonton.

  • Colten Ellis G | BUF

Sabres' Colten Ellis: Gets back in win column

Ellis stopped 22 of 24 shots in Saturday's 3-2 shootout win over the Wild.

Ellis was torched for six goals in his last outing, but he was able to pick up his third win in his last four starts with this performance. The second goal he allowed in regulation was off a turnover, so this was actually a pretty good performance for the 25-year-old. Ellis is up to 4-2-0 with a 3.13 GAA and an .898 save percentage across six starts this season. The Sabres don't have any back-to-backs in the coming week -- they play at home against the Jets on Monday before visiting the Flyers on Wednesday and the Jets on Friday. With three goalies on the roster, it remains difficult to predict how the workload will get divided, though Ellis getting a win Saturday should help him get another look in the crease soon.

  • Penguins' Tristan Jarry: Appears in relief

Jarry made 10 saves in relief Saturday in a 7-2 loss to the Maple Leafs.

Arturs Silovs took the loss after surrendering four goals on 10 shots. Jarry replaced him after recording 26 saves in a 4-3 overtime win over Columbus on Friday. Silovs has really struggled lately, and Jarry carried two consecutive wins this week into this appearance. Silovs performed well earlier in the season, and the two goalies may distribute the workload evenly. However, the Pens could easily roll the hottest hand, and that's Jarry right now.

  • Joel Hofer G | STL

Blues' Joel Hofer: Earns second shutout of season

Hofer posted an 18-save shutout in Saturday's 1-0 win over the Mammoth.

Hofer made a Dylan Holloway tally late in the second period stand as the game-winner. The shutout performance ended a four-game skid for Hofer, who had allowed 14 goals during that 0-2-2 stretch. The 25-year-old improved to 3-5-2 with two shutouts, a 3.45 GAA and an .877 save percentage over 12 appearances this season. Jordan Binnington won't completely surrender the starting job, but the Blues' crease has been trending closer to a 50-50 split in November. The Blues' next game is at home versus the Ducks on Monday.

  • Penguins' Arturs Silovs: Rough outing leads to early yank

Silovs allowed four goals on 10 shots before being pulled just 4:53 into the second period of Saturday's 7-2 loss to Toronto.

Oh boy -- Silovs has allowed eight goals on 20 shots in his last two starts. His last win was Nov. 6 against the Capitals, and he's gone 0-2-2 in four starts since. Tristan Jarry replaced him and stopped 10 of 13 shots in relief.

  • Mammoth's Karel Vejmelka: Unlucky loss Saturday

Vejmelka allowed one goal on 19 shots in Saturday's 1-0 loss to the Blues.

Neither team had much going in this contest, as both fell short of the 20-shot mark. The difference was Dylan Holloway's goal late in the second period, which was enough to stick Vejmelka with his third regulation loss in his last five outings. In that span, he's allowed just 12 goals on 125 shots. Overall, Vejmelka is now 10-7-2 with a 2.74 GAA and an .887 save percentage through 19 starts. The Mammoth's road trip continues with four more games, starting with a meeting against San Jose on Monday. Vejmelka figures to play in two or three of those contests, a stretch that also includes visits to Anaheim on Wednesday, Vancouver on Friday and Calgary on Saturday.
