Karel Vejmelka G | UTA
Mammoth's Karel Vejmelka: Collects win over Rangers
Vejmelka stopped 20 of 22 shots in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Rangers.
Vejmelka was 0-1-2 with 10 goals allowed over his last three games before snapping the skid in this win. He allowed goals to Vladislav Gavrikov and Artemi Panarin, but Nick DeSimone had the game-winning tally for the Mammoth in the third period. Vejmelka is up to 9-5-2 with a 2.87 GAA and an .884 save percentage over 16 starts. He's been a reliable source of starts and wins as Utah's No. 1 goalie, but his ratios are still a little underwhelming for fantasy. The Mammoth have a tough matchup ahead when they host the Golden Knights on Monday.

Sergei Murashov G | PIT
Penguins' Sergei Murashov: Tagged with OT loss Saturday
Murashov stopped 18 of 21 shots in Saturday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Kraken.
Murashov entered this game with a 1-1-0 record while recording one shutout, a 1.53 GAA and a .932 save percentage across three appearances in his first NHL campaign. He wasn't able to maintain the strong start here, but ups and downs are common among young goaltenders. Murashov should return to his No. 2 role when the Penguins take on the Sabres on Wednesday, allowing Arturs Silovs to return to his regular role between the pipes.

Philipp Grubauer G | SEA
Kraken's Philipp Grubauer: Makes 30 saves in OT win
Grubauer stopped 30 of 32 shots in Saturday's 3-2 overtime win over the Penguins.
Grubauer was beaten once in even strength and once on the power play by Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin, respectively, but he looked composed the rest of the way and put up a solid line en route to an OT win. The 30 saves were a season-high mark for Grubauer, who seems to be entrenched as the backup behind Joey Daccord. As long as Grubauer remains in this role, his upside will be close to minimal and strictly matchup-based.

Jakub Dobes G | MON
Canadiens' Jakub Dobes: Beaten twice Saturday
Dobes stopped 24 of 26 shots in Saturday's 5-2 win over the Maple Leafs.
Dobes was beaten on even strength late in the second period and on the power play in the third. This was a nice bounce-back performance for Dobes, who was on a four-game winless skid (0-2-2) while allowing 16 goals on 89 shots before this performance. Dobes should remain as a backup behind Sam Montembeault, though, so his fantasy upside will remain fairly low until further notice.

Dennis Hildeby G | TOR
Maple Leafs' Dennis Hildeby: Sees action in relief
Hildeby stopped the three shots he faced in relief during Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Canadiens.
Hildeby didn't have a lot of work in this game, although he entered when the game was out of reach for Toronto. Hildeby should remain as the backup netminder behind Joseph Woll until Anthony Stolarz (upper body) is ready to return.
-
Joseph Woll G | TOR
Maple Leafs' Joseph Woll: Pulled from Saturday's game
Woll was pulled from Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Canadiens. He stopped 21 of 25 shots before departing the contest.
Woll entered this game sporting a 1-1-1 record with a 2.57 GAA and a .912 save percentage, and this was his worst outing of the campaign by a wide margin. He was pulled in the third period, but his role as the Maple Leafs' starting netminder isn't at risk. Fantasy managers shouldn't overreact to one subpar outing from the 27-year-old. The Maple Leafs continue their road trip against the Blue Jackets on Wednesday, and it wouldn't be surprising if Woll is back between the posts for that game.

MacKenzie Blackwood G | COL
Avalanche's Mackenzie Blackwood: Locks things down in shutout win
Blackwood posted a 35-save shutout in Saturday's 3-0 win over the Predators.
The final score was bolstered by two empty-netters -- Blackwood had a one-goal lead for the vast majority of the contest. The Avalanche weren't at their best despite Brent Burns' goal 15 seconds into the game, but Blackwood was sharp. This was the 28-year-old goalie's first shutout of the season, and he's won his last three outings. He's allowed 10 goals on 112 shots through four appearances. Scott Wedgewood has been too good to get pushed into the backup role, but Blackwood now has some momentum to reclaim a larger share of starts. Expect Wedgewood to start in Chicago on Sunday, with his performance in that game potentially dictating the short-term work distribution for the week ahead.

Juuse Saros G | NSH
Predators' Juuse Saros: Does well in loss
Saros stopped 23 of 24 shots in Saturday's 3-0 loss to the Avalanche, whose last two goals were empty-netters.
Saros performed well, but the Predators were unable to cash in on any of their 35 shots in the contest. This is the fifth time in 17 appearances that Saros has limited an opponent to one goal, though it's the first time he's taken a loss while doing so. On the year, he has a 6-8-3 record with a 2.85 GAA and an .896 save percentage. The Predators' next game is Monday at home versus the Panthers.

Joel Blomqvist G | PIT
Penguins' Joel Blomqvist: Shutout in second start of 2025-26
Blomqvist posted a 27-save shutout in AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton's 1-0 win over Providence on Saturday.
Blomqvist was making just his second start of the season since he recovered from a season-opening lower-body injury. The 23-year-old has allowed just one goal on 51 shots while winning both of his starts so far. He'll need time to get back up to speed, but his performance in the AHL could keep him from falling too far behind Sergei Murashov on the Penguins' organization depth chart.

Daniil Tarasov G | FLA
Panthers' Daniil Tarasov: Expected to start Monday
Tarasov is slated to start Monday's road game versus the Predators, Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site reports.
Head coach Paul Maurice described Tarasov's relief appearance Saturday versus the Oilers as a good warmup for a pre-scheduled start Monday, which indicates Tarasov will be getting the nod. In Saturday's outing, he saved all 12 shots he faced, though the Oilers had two empty-net goals while Tarasov was pulled for an extra attacker. Tarasov is just 1-3-1 on the year with 13 goals allowed on 144 shots, good for a .910 save percentage.
