    Jarry will be looking to rebound from an overtime loss in St. Louis on Thursday, where he allowed five goals on just 19 shots. The 29-year-old Jarry is 13-11-6 with a 3.27 GAA and an .887 save percentage in 32 NHL appearances this season. Dallas ranks third in the league with 3.43 goals per game in 2024-25.

    Red Wings' Cam Talbot: Starting Sunday

    Talbot will start Sunday's home matchup with the Panthers, Ansar Khan of MLive.com reports.

    Talbot will make his fourth straight start due to the struggles of Alex Lyon and an injury to Petr Mrazek (head). The 37-year-old Talbot has gone 19-17-4 with a .902 save percentage and 2.92 GAA on the season. Florida ranks 12th in the league with 3.09 goals per game in 2024-25.

  • Avalanche's Kevin Mandolese: Returned to AHL

    Mandolese was loaned to AHL Colorado on Saturday, according to Meghan Angley of Guerilla Sports.

    Mandolese was recalled Wednesday and was Scott Wedgewood's backup in a 3-2 shootout win over Chicago, giving Mackenzie Blackwood the night off to rest. Mandolese has a 10-6-0 record with a 2.86 GAA and a .904 save percentage in 17 AHL games this season.

  • Blue Jackets' Elvis Merzlikins: Starting in Toronto

    Merzlikins will guard the visiting cage in Toronto on Saturday, Jeff Svoboda of the Blue Jackets' official site reports.

    Merzlikins had a tough go of it Thursday, giving up seven goals on 28 shots before being replaced in the third period versus Colorado. Merzlikins is 25-20-5 with a 3.20 GAA and an .891 save percentage across 50 outings in 2024-25. He won his only start versus the Maple Leafs this season, allowing only one goal on 29 shots in a 5-1 victory. The Maple Leafs have scored 244 goals in 75 games this season, the eighth-highest total in the NHL.

  • Flyers' Samuel Ersson: Facing Canadiens

    Ersson will be between the visiting pipes in Montreal on Saturday, Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports reports.

    Ersson has struggled since Feb. 27, going 3-5-2 with a 4.36 GAA and an .829 save percentage in 11 starts. Overall, Ersson is 21-15-5 with a 3.15 GAA and a poor .880 save percentage this season. The Canadiens have won three straight outings and have netted 3.00 goals per game this season, tied for 15th in the NHL.

    Flames' Dustin Wolf: Starting vs. Vegas

    Wolf will guard the home net Saturday against the Golden Knights, Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan reports.

    Wolf will make his third straight start after stopping 26 shots in a 4-1 win over Anaheim on Thursday. Overall, the 23-year-old netminder is 25-16-6 with three shutouts, a 2.62 GAA and a solid .910 save percentage this season. Vegas is tied for fifth in the league with 3.35 goals per game in 2024-25.

  • Lightning's Jonas Johansson: Guarding cage Saturday

    Johansson will patrol the visiting crease in Buffalo on Saturday, Mike Harrington of The Buffalo News reports.

    Johansson will get a rare start, only his fourth in the last 27 games, as Andrei Vasilevskiy has predictably had a heavy workload. Johansson is 8-5-2 with a 3.11 GAA and an .898 save percentage across 16 contests this season. The Sabres have won five of six games entering Saturday's meeting and rank eighth in the league with 3.26 goals per game in 2024-25.

  • Maple Leafs' Anthony Stolarz: In goal Saturday

    Stolarz will protect the home goal versus Columbus on Saturday, Lance Hornby of The Toronto Sun reports.

    Stolarz will attempt to win his fifth consecutive game. The 31-year-old netminder is 17-8-3 with a sparkling 2.34 GAA and a .920 save percentage. The Blue Jackets have won both games versus the Maple Leafs, but that was with third-string goaltender Dennis Hildeby between the pipes in each contest. Columbus has posted 3.23 goals per game this season, 10th in the NHL.

    Montembeault will defend the home crease versus Philadelphia on Saturday, according to Renaud Lavoie of TVA Sports.

    Montembeault has won three straight games, allowing five goals on 72 shots (.931 save percentage) in a pair of victories over Florida and one against Boston. He is 28-23-6 with a 2.86 GAA and an .899 save percentage across 57 appearances this season. Philadelphia has generated 2.79 goals per game, 24th in the league in 2024-25.

  • Rangers' Igor Shesterkin: Tending twine Saturday

    Shesterkin will patrol the visiting crease in New Jersey on Saturday, according to Arthur Staple of The Athletic.
