  • Lightning's Andrei Vasilevskiy: Set to start against Carolina

Vasilevskiy will be in the road net Tuesday against the Hurricanes, according to Gabby Shirley of FanDuel Sports Network Florida & Sun.

After winning seven straight games to close out February, Vasilevskiy has faltered a bit in March, posting a 2-2-0 record, .897 save percentage and 2.78 GAA across four outings. Carolina sits 11th in the league with 3.19 goals per game this season. The Big Cat has fared well against the Hurricanes over 23 career contests, earning a 15-5-3 record, 2.21 GAA and .930 save percentage.

  • Cam Talbot G | DET

Red Wings' Cam Talbot: Takes tough loss Monday

Talbot turned aside 21 shots in Monday's 2-1 loss to the Senators.

Detroit outshot Ottawa 49-23 on the night, but Linus Ullmark stood on his head in the other crease while Talbot got beaten twice while his side was shorthanded. While the 37-year-old netminder can't be blamed for Monday's result, Talbot has lost four straight starts, posting a 3.85 GAA and an .850 save percentage over that stretch. With the Wings now trying to find playing time for Petr Mrazek in addition to Talbot and Alex Lyon, the situation between the pipes in Detroit looks very murky.

  • Golden Knights' Ilya Samsonov: First off Tuesday

Samsonov was the first goaltender off at Tuesday's morning skate, indicating he'll be between the road pipes against the Penguins, per Seth Rorabaugh of Tribune-Review Sports.

Samsonov will make another start against Pittsburgh after posting a 22-save shutout over the Pens on Friday. The 28-year-old has a 15-8-2 record, .891 save percentage and 2.80 GAA through 25 appearances this season. Pittsburgh is tied for 20th in the NHL with 2.82 goals per game in 2024-25.

  • Sabres' Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen: Back in win column

Luukkonen stopped 32 shots in Monday's 3-2 win over the Oilers.

He was the busier goaltender on the night, but Luukkonen stood tall to secure his first win since Feb. 25 and snap a four-start losing streak. The 26-year-old has been inconsistent since the 4 Nations Face-Off break, going 3-4-0 over his last eight outings with a 3.57 GAA and an .877 save percentage.

  • Oilers' Stuart Skinner: Stunned by Sabres

Skinner made 20 saves in Monday's 3-2 loss to Buffalo.

The two teams traded tallies through two periods, but a quick Sabres counterattack early in the third produced Tage Thompson's second goal of the night and the game-winner. Skinner has struggled since the beginning of February, going 3-5-0 over his last 10 outings with a 3.67 GAA and an .871 save percentage, but his starting spot appears safe as Calvin Pickard hasn't been any better (4.03 GAA, .879 save percentage) over that stretch.

  • Penguins' Tristan Jarry: Expected starter Tuesday

Jarry is slated to start Tuesday's home game versus the Golden Knights, per Wes Crosby of NHL.com.

Jarry picked up his first win since Dec. 23 on Sunday in a 3-1 win over the Wild, turning aside 29 of 30 shots on goal. Vegas has generated 3.37 goals per game this season, which ranks fifth in the NHL. Over six career outings against the Golden Knights, Jarry owns a 4-2-0 record, .921 save percentage and 2.52 GAA. Vegas had its four-game winning streak snapped in a 6-5 loss to the Kings on Sunday.

  • Ivan Fedotov G | CLB

Flyers' Ivan Fedotov: In goal Tuesday

Fedotov will get the starting nod at home against the Senators on Tuesday, Charlie O'Connor of PHLY Sports reports.

Fedotov will make his fourth appearance in the Flyers' crease over the team's last six outings. In his prior three outings, the 28-year-old netminder is 1-2-0 despite a stellar 1.73 GAA and .938 save percentage. If he can get some offensive support, Fedotov's recent performances would have him set up well to secure his sixth win of the season.

  • Sabres' Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen: Drawing home start

Luukkonen will tend the home twine Monday versus the Oilers, per Lance Lysowski of The Buffalo News.

Luukkonen has lost four consecutive games while posting an .853 save percentage and a 4.40 GAA in that span. It won't get any easier Monday against an Oilers club that sits ninth in the NHL with 3.25 goals per game this season and has won three of its last four contests. Luukkonen is 1-1-0 and has conceded 10 goals on 71 shots over two career outings against Edmonton.

  • Jakub Dobes G | MON

    Canadiens' Jakub Dobes: Starting Wednesday

Dobes will defend the road net against Seattle on Wednesday.

Dobes will get the second half of Montreal's back-to-back after Sam Montembeault plays in Tuesday's road matchup versus Vancouver. The 23-year-old Dobes stopped 23 shots in Saturday's 1-0 loss to Calgary. He has a 6-3-1 record with one shutout, a 2.49 GAA and a .913 save percentage through 11 appearances this season. Seattle sits 15th in the league with 2.94 goals per game in 2024-25.

  • Canadiens' Sam Montembeault: Set to start Tuesday

Montembeault is slated to start Tuesday's road game against Vancouver.

Montembeault's four-game winning streak came to an end during Thursday's overtime loss in Edmonton, but he'll return to the crease after getting the night off Saturday against the Flames. The 28-year-old made a home start against the Canucks on Jan. 6 and turned aside 16 of 20 shots (.800 save percentage) en route to a victory.
