Ponomarev has no points, four shots, one hit and one block in three appearances with Pittsburgh in 2024-25. He also has an assist in five outings with Wilkes-Barre/Scranton. Pittsburgh activated Kevin Hayes (upper body) from injured reserve in a corresponding move.

Hayes (upper body) was activated from injured reserve ahead of Saturday's matchup against Utah.
The Penguins assigned Vasily Ponomarev to AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton in a corresponding move. Hayes will return from an eight-game absence versus Utah on Saturday. He has earned three goals, one assist, 15 shots on net and seven hits in 14 appearances this season.

Blackhawks' Lukas Reichel: Collects two points Saturday
Reichel notched a goal and an assist in Saturday's 3-2 overtime loss to Philadelphia.
Reichel's second multi-point performance of 2024-25 gave the Blackhawks a 2-0 lead going into the third period. However, the Flyers scored three straight goals afterward to claim the victory. Reichel also had a team-high five shots on net in Saturday's defeat. He has two goals and eight points through 17 outings this season.

Wild's Marat Khusnutdinov: Out due to lower-body injury
Khusnutdinov is a late scratch Saturday against Calgary because of a lower-body injury.
Khusnutdinov has two assists, 18 hits and 15 blocks in 19 appearances in 2024-25. Minnesota will also be without the services of Kirill Kaprizov (lower body) following an injury he suffered against Edmonton on Thursday. Due to the absences of Khusnutdinov and Kaprizov, Travis Boyd will make his Wild debut, and Ben Jones will also draw into the lineup.

Wild's Filip Gustavsson: Starting in Calgary
Gustavsson will guard the road goal Saturday versus the Flames, Michael Russo of The Athletic reports.
Gustavsson is coming off a 22-save effort in Tuesday's 4-2 win over St. Louis. He has a 9-3-2 record with one shutout, a 2.07 GAA and a .926 save percentage through 14 appearances this season. Calgary sits 22nd in the league with 2.60 goals per game in 2024-25.

Wild's Kirill Kaprizov: Not playing Saturday
Kaprizov (lower body) won't play Saturday against Calgary.
Kaprizov sustained the injury in Thursday's 5-3 win over Edmonton. He returned to the game but will miss at least one outing. Kaprizov has amassed 13 goals, 34 points and 59 shots on net through 19 appearances this season. With Kaprizov and Marat Khusnutdinov (lower body) unavailable, Ben Jones and Travis Boyd will play versus the Flames.

Daccord is expected to start on the road against LA on Saturday, per Zach Dooley of the Kings' official site.
Daccord has been a standout performer with a 9-3-1 record, 2.31 GAA and .923 save percentage in 13 appearances in 2024-25. He's won his past five starts while allowing just eight goals on 131 shots (.939 save percentage). The Kings are tied for 16th offensively with 3.05 goals per game.

Flames' Dan Vladar: Expected to start
Vladar will start in Calgary's home game against Minnesota on Saturday, per Pat Steinberg of Sportsnet 960 The Fan.
In his last start, Vladar stopped 29 of 32 shots in a 3-1 loss to Vancouver on Nov. 12. He has a 3-4-2 record, 2.65 GAA and .906 save percentage through nine outings in 2024-25. Minnesota has a fantastic 13-3-3 record and ranks seventh in the league with 3.47 goals per game. The Wild will be a challenging opponent for Vladar and the Flames despite the absence of Kirill Kaprizov (lower body).

Red Wings' Tim Gettinger: Lands on waivers
Gettinger (lower body) was activated from the injured non-roster list and placed on waivers Saturday, per Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.
Gettinger registered 12 goals and 25 points in 55 regular-season games for AHL Grand Rapids in 2023-24. He sustained a lower-body injury during the 2024 Calder Cup Playoffs. Gettinger will return to Detroit's top minor-league affiliate if he clears waivers.
