  • Sharks' Ethan Cardwell: Supplies three helpers for Barracuda

Cardwell logged three assists in AHL San Jose's 5-4 overtime win over San Diego on Sunday.

Cardwell cleared waivers prior to the start of the NHL campaign, but it wouldn't be surprising to see him get a call-up. He had 15 points over 24 regular-season games with the Barracuda last year, though he had topped the 40-point mark in his first two years in the AHL.

  • Tye Felhaber LW | COL

Sharks' Tye Felhaber: Three helpers in AHL win

Felhaber logged three assists in AHL San Jose's 5-4 overtime win over San Diego on Sunday.

Felhaber is a journeyman at this point in his career. He's spent large chunks of the last three years in the AHL, most recently earning 75 points over 130 regular-season games for AHL Colorado over the last two years. With the depth and quality of prospects in the Sharks' system, it's unlikely he gets much of a look at the NHL level this year.

  • Sharks' Filip Bystedt: Produces three points Sunday

Bystedt scored twice and added an assist in AHL San Jose's 5-4 overtime win over San Diego.

Bystedt was held off the scoresheet in the Barracuda's season opener before posting a big game this time out. The forward took a leap forward last year with 60 points over 65 regular-season games, nearly doubling his output from his 31-point rookie year in 2024-25. While he's still just 22 years old, Bystedt has gotten a bit passed over by younger and more talented prospects in the Sharks' system, though he could still find his way to the big club with another strong AHL campaign.

  • Jets' Clay Stevenson: Slated to start in Pittsburgh on Monday

Stevenson is expected to tend the twine Monday in Pittsburgh, Ken Wiebe of The Winnipeg Free Press reports.

Stevenson was waived by the Capitals before the start of the 2026-27 campaign, but he was claimed off waivers by the Jets due to Connor Hellebuyck's suspension. The 27-year-old Stevenson was solid across four regular-season games with Washington last year, going 3-1-0 with a 2.00 GAA and a .921 save percentage. The netminder is set to have a tough task Monday against a Pittsburgh club that has netted 13 goals across its first two games of the season, both of which were wins.

  • Golden Knights' Raphael Lavoie: Still out Sunday

Lavoie (undisclosed) is not an option for Sunday's road game against the Canucks, per SinBin.vegas.

Lavoie has yet to make his season debut, but he's been skating in practices while working his way back from his undisclosed injury. The Quebec native's next opportunity to draw into the lineup will be Tuesday in Seattle.

  • Canucks' Kevin Lankinen: Tending twine against Vegas

Lankinen will start Sunday's home game against the Golden Knights, Canucks play-by-play announcer Brendan Batchelor reports.

Lankinen hasn't looked particularly sharp early in the season, as he allowed five goals on 37 shots during an Opening Night win over the Oilers on Tuesday, and he allowed eight goals on 20 shots during a rematch against Edmonton on Thursday before getting pulled in the second period. However, he'll draw his third start in the Canucks' first four regular-season games during the second half of a back-to-back set Sunday.

  • Adin Hill G | LV

Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Facing Canucks

Hill will be between the road pipes against Vancouver on Sunday, per SinBin.vegas.

Hill is set to make his 2026-27 debut Sunday after Carter Hart started in Vegas' first two games of the season. The Canucks are on the second half of a back-to-back after picking up a 4-1 win over the Flames on Saturday, while the Golden Knights have been off since Friday. Hill went 10-9-6 with a 3.04 GAA and an .871 save percentage over 27 regular-season appearances in 2025-26.

  • Aaron Ekblad D | FLA

Panthers' Aaron Ekblad: Late scratch in Anaheim

Ekblad (personal) is not available for Sunday's game in Anaheim, according to Armando Velez of Locked On Podcast Network.

Per Velez, the Panthers' television broadcast said that Ekblad is with his family, and the reason for his absence is a personal matter rather than an injury. It's unclear if the right-shot defenseman will be available for Tuesday's game in Los Angeles, but if Ekblad traveled back to Florida, he might not be an option for the Panthers until Saturday's home matchup against the Wild.

  • Panthers' Gustav Forsling: Back in lineup Sunday

Forsling (upper body) will suit up Sunday in Anaheim, per Jameson Olive of the Panthers' official site.

Forsling was deemed a game-time decision Saturday after missing Thursday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Sharks. The steady left-shot blueliner will slot in on the top pairing next to Dmitry Kulikov, as Aaron Ekblad (personal) isn't in Sunday's lineup.

  • Dustin Wolf G | CGY

Flames' Dustin Wolf: Drawing start in Seattle

Wolf will occupy the road crease Sunday against the Kraken, Eric Francis of Sportsnet reports.

Wolf get the start in the second half of a back-to-back after Devin Cooley was in net for Saturday's 4-1 loss to the Canucks. The Kraken are also on the second half of a back-to-back -- Seattle was defeated by the Oilers on Saturday. Wolf allowed six goals on 32 shots to the Kraken in the Flames' season opener on Thursday, so the 25-year-old netminder should have plenty of motivation to put in a bounce-back performance Sunday.
