Charlie Lindgren G | WAS
Capitals' Charlie Lindgren: Strong in loss
Lindgren made 27 saves in a 3-1 loss to Tampa Bay on Saturday.
He allowed two goals. It was a sharp start for Lindgren, who is looking to bounce back after an injury-riddled season that made it difficult for him to get into a rhythm in the blue paint. The crease is Logan Thompson's, but Lindgren could get 30 starts if he can continue this momentum.

Justin Sourdif C | WAS
Capitals' Justin Sourdif: Goal-scorer's goal in loss
Sourdif scored a goal in Saturday's 3-1 loss to Tampa Bay.
Sourdif slid into the slot and showed off his soft hands when he redirected a slap pass from Jacob Chychrun past Andrei Vasilevskiy. It was a goal scorer's goal for a guy who burst onto the scene last year with a 15-goal, 35-point rookie campaign. Sourdif is currently centering the fourth line, but he could slide into the top nine with continued development.

Charle-Edouard D'Astous D | TB
Lightning's Charle-Edouard D'Astous: Snipes goal in win
D'Astous scored a goal in Saturday's 3-1 win over Washington.
D'Astous delivered a surprisingly strong debut season in 2025-26 with 29 points (six goals, 23 assists), 112 PIM, 96 hits and 74 blocks in 70 games last season. He has been a point producer at every level and in every league he's played in, both in North America and Europe, and he's found a way to translate his game into the NHL. D'Astous is behind Victor Hedman and John Carlson on the blue line and power play, but that changes with a single injury.

Emil Martinsen Lilleberg D | TB
Lightning's Emil Lilleberg: Leaves Saturday's game
Lilleberg sustained an undisclosed injury in Saturday's game versus the Capitals, and there was no update on his status from head coach Jon Cooper after the contest, Benjamin Pierce of the Lightning's official site reports.
Lilleberg was hurt early in the third period. The 25-year-old defenseman picked up a helper prior to his exit. The Lightning dressed seven blueliners Saturday, so they'll have some options for their roster if Lilleberg is unavailable Monday versus the Flyers. Defenseman Max Crozier could come in if the team sticks with seven defensemen, or one of Jansen Harkins or Scott Sabourin could get the call instead.

Conor Geekie C | TB
Lightning's Conor Geekie: Sharp goal in win
Geekie scored a goal Saturday in a 3-1 win over Washington. It stood as the winner.
Geekie fired a one-timer from the right circle that beat Charlie Lindgren stick side. He's earned the fourth-line center role in Tampa Bay, and there's every opportunity for the young pivot to deliver a new career mark if he can focus his game this season. Geekie's best came two seasons ago with 14 points, including eight goals, in 52 games. Last year, he took another step in the AHL with 28 goals, 51 assists, a plus-12 rating and 82 PIM. He represented Syracuse at the AHL All-Star Classic.

Jake Sanderson D | OTT
Senators' Jake Sanderson: Battling lower-body issue
Sanderson departed Saturday's game versus the Maple Leafs due to a lower-body injury, Julian McKenzie of The Athletic reports.
Sanderson is set for further evaluation Sunday, and the team will know more in the next few days. The defenseman was never seemingly fully healthy after dealing with the injury throughout the preseason, but this is the first time the Senators have put a label on the issue. His status for Monday's game in Boston remains up in the air.

Andrei Vasilevskiy G | TB
Lightning's Andrei Vasilevskiy: Named game's first star
Vasilevskiy made 19 saves in a 3-1 win over the Capitals on Saturday.
The game was close -- the Bolts put in an empty-net goal late in the third to cement the win. Vasilevskiy earned the game's first star for his work. He's world class and is one of a small group that can carry your fantasy squad.

Jake Guentzel C | TB
Lightning's Jake Guentzel: First two points of season
Guentzel scored a goal and added an assist in Saturday's 3-1 win over Washington.
The Great Guentzel has averaged 84 points, including 39 goals, 29 power-play points and 218 shots over the last two seasons. That puts him squarely in the NHL's top-20 offensive players. Guentzel is poised to deliver similar numbers this season.
-
Brandon Hagel LW | TB
Lightning's Brandon Hagel: First two helpers of season
Hagel set up two goals Saturday in a 3-1 win over the Capitals. He had a game-high six shots.
The points were Hagel's first of the season. The winger has fired 442 shots over the last two seasons and scored at better than an 86-point pace in the same span. Hagel hasn't seen much playing time with Nikita Kucherov at even strength yet this year, but they hop the boards together on the top power-play unit. Expect great things from Hagel again this season.

Jacob Trouba D | SJ
Sharks' Jacob Trouba: Good to go
Trouba (illness) is expected to play Saturday versus the Kings, Max Miller of NHL.com reports.
Trouba was tracking towards playing, but there was some doubt after he missed Friday's practice and Saturday's morning skate. The 32-year-old is slated to fill his usual second-pairing role.
