Roy (lower body) was designated for injured reserve Monday.

Roy has already missed enough time to be eligible to come off injured reserve at any point, but the fact that he hasn't been cleared for contact points to him missing at least the upcoming back-to-back against Carolina and Montreal on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively. While Dylan McIlrath has been playing in Roy's stead, the Caps called up Justin Holl, who could find himself in the lineup instead.

Brown (lower body) was placed on injured reserve by the Devils on Monday, retroactive to Sept. 28.

Brown has missed the first several weeks of the regular season due to his lower-body injury, and he'll be eligible to be activated off injured reserve whenever he's cleared to return by the team's medical staff. The 32-year-old made 75 regular-season appearances for New Jersey last year and recorded 18 goals, 25 assists, 37 blocked shots, 25 hits and 22 PIM while averaging 17:33 of ice time.

Seeler provided an assist, two hits and four blocked shots in Sunday's 4-1 loss to the Hurricanes.

Seeler has chipped in two helpers over seven games this season. The 33-year-old defenseman is seeing steady bottom-four usage, though his ice time has ticked up since Rasmus Ristolainen (upper body) exited the lineup. Seeler has added four shots on net, 10 hits, 20 blocked shots, four PIM and an even plus-minus rating, which is solid defensive work given the lousy play of the team around him.

Dvorak scored a goal on three shots in Sunday's 4-1 loss to the Hurricanes.

The Flyers' slow start to the year -- eight goals over seven games -- has led to everyone's offense being down. Dvorak has chipped in a goal and an assist so far while adding eight shots on net, nine hits, five blocked shots and a minus-3 rating. The 30-year-old is seeing top-six minutes again this year, but that will lead to some rough numbers until the Flyers escape their funk.

Woll stopped 26 of 30 shots in Sunday's 4-1 loss to the Hurricanes.

The Flyers have been awful to start the season, and they were no match for the defending champions in this game. Woll has made four appearances so far, going 0-2-2 with 12 goals allowed on 140 shots. He's often been able to keep games close -- this was the first time in one of his outings the Flyers lost by multiple goals. Dan Vladar can't say the same, as Philadelphia has gotten outscored 16-2 in his games. The Flyers' next game is Tuesday at home versus the Kraken, but Woll is still a risky fantasy play even if he gets that start on a 16-game slate in the NHL.

Carrier notched two assists, four PIM and a plus-2 rating in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Flyers.

Carrier has filled a top-line role at even strength for much of the season, though he's just a placeholder for Seth Jarvis (shoulder). That extra usage has helped Carrier log five assists, nine shots on net, 21 hits, six PIM and an even plus-minus rating through seven appearances. Don't expect the 31-year-old winger to remain steady on offense -- he's never had more than 25 points in a single season, and that came over 56 games with Vegas in 2022-23.

Jankowski scored a goal on two shots in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Flyers.

Jankowski has scored in four straight games, and he also has an assist in that span to account for all of his offense on the year. The 32-year-old's hot offense has made him a mainstay in the Hurricanes' bottom six over Nicolas Deslauriers. Jordan Staal (lower body) was out Sunday, allowing Jankowski to move up to the third line. The offense won't last, but Jankowski's defensive efforts and reliable on-ice play make him a fixture in the lineup.

Gostisbehere scored a goal on three shots and went plus-3 in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Flyers.

Gostisbehere's second-period tally stood as the game-winner. It was also his first even-strength point of the campaign, as his other goal and all three assists have come on the power play. The 33-year-old defenseman has added 13 shots on net, three blocked shots, two hits and a plus-5 rating. Gostisbehere's power-play usage makes him a reliable offensive defenseman in fantasy even though he plays on the third pairing at even strength.

Svechnikov scored a goal, dished an assist, added two PIM, logged two hits and went plus-3 in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Flyers.

Svechnikov has three multi-point efforts through seven games this season. The winger opened the scoring midway through the second period Sunday and added a helper on Sebastian Aho's tally later in the frame. Svechnikov is up to four goals, four assists, 22 shots on net, 19 hits, four PIM and a plus-3 rating on the year, filling a top-line role and a spot on the first power-play unit along the way.

Aho scored a goal on two shots, added an assist, blocked two shots and went plus-2 in Sunday's 4-1 win over the Flyers.

Aho has a trio of multi-point efforts during his six-game point streak. The center has scored in five of those contests, totaling six goals and four assists. Through seven appearances, he's added 24 shots, five blocked shots, 10 PIM and a plus-4 rating. Aho has hit the ground running and should continue to play a leading role for the Hurricanes as their first-line center.
