  • Eeli Tolvanen RW | NYR

Rangers' Eeli Tolvanen: Back with team

Tolvanen (personal) participated in Sunday's optional morning skate, per Mollie Walker of the New York Post.

Tolvanen should be an option for Sunday's matchup against Edmonton after missing Friday's practice for personal reasons. He has earned three goals, one assist, 15 shots on net, 13 blocked shots and 19 hits in 14 appearances this season.

  • Dylan Garand G | NYR

Rangers' Dylan Garand: Tending twine Sunday

Garand will patrol the home crease against Edmonton on Sunday, Mollie Walker of the New York Post reports.

Garand has gone 0-3-0 in his last three appearances, surrendering 12 goals on 74 shots. He owns a 4-5-1 record, a 2.69 GAA and an .899 save percentage in 10 outings this season. Edmonton (10-2-2) is tied for first in the league this campaign with 4.21 goals per game.

  • Sabres' Dennis Gilbert: Sent to AHL

Gilbert was loaned to AHL Rochester on Sunday.

Gilbert has been a healthy scratch in three of Buffalo's last five games. In five NHL appearances this season, he has one goal, two points, one shot on net, two blocked shots and seven hits.

  • Penguins' Rutger McGroarty: Dropped to minors

McGroarty was assigned to AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Sunday.

McGroarty hasn't earned a point in two NHL outings this season, but he has contributed three shots on net and one blocked shot. The 22-year-old forward has four goals and five assists in six AHL appearances this campaign.

  • John Leonard LW | DET

Red Wings' John Leonard: Summoned from AHL

Leonard was recalled from AHL Grand Rapids on Sunday.

Leonard has notched five goals and two assists in six AHL appearances this campaign. In the 2025-26 NHL regular season, he earned two goals, four points, 11 shots on net, nine blocked shots and 12 hits in 11 appearances for Detroit.

  • Kings' Anton Forsberg: Stops 28 shots in narrow defeat

Forsberg stopped 28 of 31 shots in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Sabres.

Forsberg couldn't prevent Tage Thompson's go-ahead power-play goal midway through the third period. The veteran netminder kept Los Angeles competitive after Buffalo controlled much of the early action, though the Kings ultimately suffered their fourth loss in five home games. Forsberg's fantasy value remains in the lower tiers, as inconsistent team results limit his reliability as a starting option. The fact that he's started in just six of the Kings' 13 games this season limits his upside as well and makes Forsberg a matchup-based alternative and not much else.

  • Corey Perry RW | LA

Kings' Corey Perry: Nets first goal of season

Perry scored a power-play goal on nine shots in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Sabres.

Perry cut Buffalo's lead to 2-1 late in the second period when Trevor Moore's shot deflected off him, and the goal was confirmed after a successful coach's challenge. The veteran winger generated an impressive nine shots, but that was an anomaly, as he had racked up 10 total shots over his previous 10 games. Perry will continue to have fantasy upside as long as he remains in a top-six role, but it's hard to see him produce consistently since he's 41 years old already.

  • Sabres' Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen: Earns win Saturday

Luukkonen stopped 27 of 29 shots in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Kings.

Luukkonen delivered a solid performance in his 200th career NHL game, helping Buffalo extend its winning streak to three contests while earning his first win since Oct. 15. The netminder has been slumping a bit lately, winning just two of his last five outings (2-1-2) while posting a 3.35 GAA and .890 save percentage over that stretch. Colten Ellis had started the previous two games, so it remains to be seen whether there will be a time-share in the Sabres' crease going forward.

  • Sabres' Tage Thompson: Scores twice, including game-winner

Thompson scored two goals on eight shots, including the game-winning goal on the power play, in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Kings.

Thompson extended his scoring surge after recording a hat trick and two assists against Anaheim on Thursday, giving him five goals over his last two appearances. The star center leads Buffalo with 10 goals this season, while his eight shots Saturday highlighted his ability to generate consistent scoring opportunities. He remains a premium fantasy option across all formats, as he has 17 points (10 goals, seven helpers), 63 shots and 19:26 TOI/G in 14 games so far this season.

  • Jack Quinn RW | BUF

Sabres' Jack Quinn: Scores, assists in road win

Quinn scored a power-play goal on two shots and added a power-play assist in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Kings.

Quinn opened the scoring in the first period before setting up Tage Thompson's game-winning power-play goal late in the third. The winger has eight goals and six assists through 14 games, emerging as one of Buffalo's most productive offensive contributors. His prominent role alongside Thompson and consistent power-play involvement provide a strong foundation for continued fantasy success. The season is still young, but he looks on pace to surpass his career-high mark of 51 regular-season points established in 2025-26.
