  • Senators' Andre Burakovsky: Set to miss 3-4 weeks

Burakovsky (lower body) is expected to miss the next 3-4 weeks, Jackson Starr of the Senators' official site reports Saturday.

Burakovsky sustained the injury during Thursday's game against Los Angeles. He has no points, two PIM, three shots, three hits and four blocks in eight appearances this season. Philip Tomasino is likely to draw into the lineup Saturday versus San Jose due to Burakovsky's absence.

  • Warren Foegele LW | OTT

Senators' Warren Foegele: Out 3-4 weeks

Foegele (knee) will miss 3-4 weeks, Jackson Starr of the Senators' official site reports Saturday.

The Senators moved Foegele to the injured reserve list Friday. He will miss his second straight game against San Jose on Saturday. Foegele has earned one goal, four points, 14 shots on net, five blocked shots and 18 hits in 13 appearances this season.

  • Blue Jackets' Ivan Provorov: Good to return

Provorov (lower body) was taken off injured reserve Saturday.

Provorov hasn't played yet this season, but his activation suggests that he will be in the lineup for Saturday's game against Dallas. The 29-year-old had nine goals and 31 points in 82 regular-season outings in 2025-26. Dante Fabbro is projected to be a healthy scratch Saturday as a result of Provorov's return.

  • Adrian Kempe RW | LA

Kings' Adrian Kempe: Won't play Saturday

Kempe (undisclosed) won't be in the lineup against Buffalo on Saturday, per Zach Dooley of the Kings' official site.

Kempe is day-to-day and will miss at least one game. He has earned three goals, eight points, 41 shots on net, 18 hits and three blocked shots in 12 appearances this season. With Kempe unavailable, Martin Chromiak will make his NHL debut against the Sabres on Saturday.

  • Senators' Samuel Ersson: Slated to face San Jose

Ersson is expected to start on the road against San Jose on Saturday, per Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now.

Ersson has gone 0-3-1 with a 4.46 GAA and an .849 save percentage in six appearances in 2026-27. Maybe he can finally get into the win column against San Jose, which has been a middle-of-the-road team with a 7-6-1 record this season. The Sharks also rank 25th in goals per game with 2.79.

  • Flyers' Hunter McDonald: Heads back to Lehigh Valley

McDonald was loaned to AHL Lehigh Valley on Saturday.

McDonald appeared in five games for the Flyers while Cam York (upper body) and Rasmus Ristolainen (hand) missed time due to injuries. With York back in action, McDonald became the odd man out for the team's left-shot defensemen. Overall, the 24-year-old blueliner posted a minus-2 rating, 10 PIM, three shots on net, 22 hits and six blocked shots during his NHL stint. He'll likely be a relevant injury call-up for the Flyers this season if he's needed at a later point.

  • Nick Jensen D | ANA

Ducks' Nick Jensen: Goes on waivers

Jensen was placed on waivers Saturday, according to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.

Jensen has one goal, two points, two shots on net, six blocked shots and three hits in three appearances for the Ducks in 2026-27. If he clears waivers, the 36-year-old defender could head to AHL San Diego.

  • Avalanche's Mackenzie Blackwood: Patrolling home net

Blackwood is set to draw Saturday's home start against the Flames, per Jesse Montano of Guerilla Sports.

Blackwood will don his mask on Halloween against the Flames, where he'll look to extend his current win streak to three games. Overall, the 29-year-old backstop has a 6-3-0 record, a 2.81 GAA and an .894 save percentage across nine appearances this season. Given the combination of his recent success and Calgary's ranking as the 27th-best offense with 2.62 goals per game this season, Blackwood is positioned as one of the top starts in all fantasy formats for Saturday's Halloween slate.

  • Sharks' Alex Nedeljkovic: In goal Saturday

Nedeljkovic will start Saturday's home game against Ottawa, Sheng Peng of San Jose Hockey Now reports.

Nedeljkovic surrendered five goals on 34 shots in last Saturday's 6-4 loss to Boston. He has a 3-1-1 record, a 2.88 GAA and a .903 save percentage in five appearances this season. Ottawa (8-5-1) is tied for 19th in the league with 3.00 goals per game in the 2026-27 campaign.

  • Predators' Justus Annunen: Tending twine against Tampa

Annunen will guard the home net in Saturday's clash against the Lightning, per Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site.

In his most recent appearance, Annunen picked up a convincing win against his former squad, the Colorado Avalanche, in Sunday's 6-2 win. Since recovering from an undisclosed injury to begin the season, he's posted a 1-1-0 record, a 4.00 GAA and an .846 save percentage across two outings. He'll face another tough test in Saturday's outing against the Lightning, who rank fifth in the NHL with 3.67 goals per game this season. If he can pick up another win, Annunen will start rapidly trending towards fantasy relevance as one of the more serviceable No. 2 options between the pipes in the NHL.
