  • Avalanche's Gavin Brindley: Added to NHL roster

Brindley was recalled from AHL Colorado on Friday.

This will be Brindley's second stint in the NHL this season. He has one assist, three shots on net and six hits across four games with the Avalanche this year. His recall gives the Avalanche an extra forward if Logan O'Connor (personal) is unavailable Saturday versus the Flames.

  • Hayden Hodgson RW | OTT

Senators' Hayden Hodgson: Receives two-game ban

Hodgson was suspended two games Friday for his boarding infraction against the Kings' Brandt Clarke (upper body) on Thursday.

Hodgson's hit was deemed worthy of supplemental discipline, and he'll be out for the Senators' games in San Jose on Saturday and in Anaheim on Sunday. Xavier Bourgault and Philip Tomasino were called up Friday as reinforcements, and at least one of them will be in the lineup Saturday. Hodgson has no points, one shot on goal, 13 hits and 24 PIM over five appearances this season.

  • Lightning's Nikita Kucherov: Expected to play despite trade request

Kucherov is expected to continue playing for the Lightning while the team works on accommodating his trade request, according to Pierre LeBrun of TSN on Friday.

Fantasy managers can rest easy for now, knowing Kucherov will stay in the lineup after his trade request went public Friday. However, as seen earlier this week with Dylan Larkin (suspension), the player can choose to stop playing at any time if they're not satisfied with the process. Kucherov is in the final year of his deal and will submit a 10-team list of approved destinations to help the Lightning reach a deal. Expect Kucherov to remain in a prominent role until a trade is imminent.

  • Kraken's Philipp Grubauer: Guarding road goal

Grubauer will be in goal on the road versus the Flames on Friday, per the NHL media site.

Grubauer is set to make his fourth start in the Kraken's last five games. He is going for a fourth straight win, though he has allowed 10 goals on 81 shots during his winning streak. This will be the first time he's faced the Flames this year -- Joey Daccord handled the crease in both of Seattle's first two wins, which came against Calgary in the first week of the campaign.

  • Senators' Philip Tomasino: Called up Friday

Tomasino was recalled from AHL Belleville on Friday, per the AHL's transactions log.

Tomasino has earned the call-up with a hot start to the season. He has four goals and seven assists across 10 contests. Tomasino will be in the mix to play for Ottawa while the team deals with multiple injuries to wingers.

  • Senators' Xavier Bourgault: Up from AHL

Bourgault was recalled from AHL Belleville on Friday, per the AHL's transactions log.

Bourgault has earned nine points over 10 outings to start the year. The Senators need to replenish their wing depth due to numerous injuries, so Bourgault could get a chance to play in the bottom six during this call-up.

  • Nicolas Daws G | WPG

Jets' Nico Daws: Starting against Florida

Daws will protect the road goal versus the Panthers on Friday, George Richards of Florida Hockey Now reports.

Daws will make his first start and second appearance for the Jets after logging a relief appearance versus the Lightning on Thursday. He is 2-2-0 with a 2.57 GAA and an .884 save percentage across five games this season when accounting for his time with the Devils. A good performance Friday could help Daws leapfrog Clay Stevenson for the backup job behind Stuart Skinner.

  • Blues' Theo Lindstein: Called up by St. Louis

Lindstein was recalled from AHL Springfield on Friday.

Lindstein was sent down by the Blues last week, but he'll rejoin the NHL club to provide additional depth ahead of Saturday's game against the Red Wings. He made four appearances with the Blues earlier in the regular season, recording an assist, two blocked shots and a hit while averaging 14:33 of ice time.

  • Carter Hart G | LV

Golden Knights' Carter Hart: Cleared to return Friday

Hart (undisclosed) will serve as the backup goaltender in Friday's home game against New Jersey, per Danny Webster of the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Hart wasn't an option for Tuesday's 4-1 win over Ottawa due to the injury. He has a 4-3-1 record, 2.76 GAA and .889 save percentage in eight appearances in 2026-27. Adin Hill is set to play between the pipes for Vegas against the Devils, but Hart will probably start in one half of the Golden Knights' upcoming back-to-back road set against Boston and Pittsburgh on Monday and Tuesday, respectively.

  • Adin Hill G | LV

Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Starting against New Jersey

Hill will start Friday's home game against the Devils, Danny Webster of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.

Hill has been relatively sharp over the first several weeks of the regular season, going 5-1-0 with a 2.63 GAA and .895 save percentage across six appearances. He'll draw a start in a second consecutive game for the first time this season, while Carter Hart (undisclosed) will dress as the backup.
