  • Stars' Alex Petrovic: Slipping into part-time role

Petrovic was scratched for the fourth time in nine games in Friday's 3-2 win over the Blues.

Petrovic played regularly for much of the first half of the season, but he's in a 17-game point drought currently. The 33-year-old defenseman's slump also coincides with the Stars getting healthier on the blue line -- they're missing only Lian Bichsel (lower body) at this time, though Ilya Lyubushkin is battling a lower-body injury sustained in Friday's contest. That could open the door for Petrovic again. He'll look to add to his totals of nine points, 50 shots on net, 77 hits, 67 blocked shots and 47 PIM through 46 appearances when he gets his next chance to play.

  • Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Between pipes Saturday

Bobrovsky will defend the road goal in Minnesota on Saturday, Rob Darragh of the Panthers' official site reports.

Bobrovsky has struggled in the month of January, posting a 2-5-0 record with a 4.22 GAA and an .824 save percentage. Overall, the 37-year-old is 19-14-1 with three shutouts, a 3.09 GAA and an .875 save percentage. Bobrovsky will attempt to turn it around against the Wild, who are tied for 14th in league scoring, averaging 3.17 goals per game.

  • Maple Leafs' Scott Laughton: Pots goal Friday

Laughton scored a goal, added two hits and logged two PIM in Friday's 6-3 loss to the Golden Knights.

Laughton has three goals over his last five games. Despite his tally Friday, the 31-year-old center saw just 9:28 of ice time, his second-lowest mark in a game all season. He's up to eight goals, two assists, 40 shots on net, 58 hits, 25 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating over 33 outings while filling a fourth-line role.

  • Bobby McMann C | SEA

Maple Leafs' Bobby McMann: Lights lamp in loss

McMann scored a goal on four shots in Friday's 6-3 loss to the Golden Knights.

McMann continues to chip in occasional offense regardless of his place in the lineup. He was on the top line Friday, logging 17:19 of ice time. He has four goals over his last 10 outings, though he doesn't have an assist in that span. The 29-year-old forward has produced 16 goals, 26 points, 100 shots, 109 hits, 30 PIM and a plus-3 rating through 50 contests this season.

  • John Tavares C | TOR

Maple Leafs' John Tavares: Puts away goal Friday

Tavares scored a goal on three shots in Friday's 6-3 loss to the Golden Knights.

Tavares got Toronto on the board just 13 seconds into the second period. The center has four goals and three assists over his last 10 outings, which is decent production that matches his second-line role. For the season, he's earned 19 goals, 44 points, 129 shots on net, 45 hits and a minus-10 rating across 51 appearances.

  • Adam Wilsby D | NSH

Predators' Adam Wilsby: Good to go

Wilsby (lower body) will return to the lineup against Utah on Saturday, Brooks Bratten of the Predators' official site reports.

Following a four-game absence, Wilsby will replace Nicolas Hague (lower body) in Saturday's lineup. The 25-year-old Wilsby has one goal, six assists, 33 shots on net, 29 blocked shots and 14 hits in 36 appearances this season.

  • Golden Knights' Jonas Rondbjerg: Nabs helper in NHL season debut

Rondbjerg logged an assist and three shots on goal in Friday's 6-3 win over the Maple Leafs.

Rondbjerg picked up his first point since the 2023-24 season in his 2025-26 debut for the Golden Knights. The 26-year-old forward has seen a few stints with Vegas over the last five campaigns, but mainly as a fourth-line forward. He was on the third line Friday, but he figures to return to AHL Henderson once Vegas' forward group is healthier, which is expected to happen after the Olympic break.

  • Predators' Nicolas Hague: Week-to-week

Hague will miss Saturday's clash versus Utah and is considered week-to-week at this time.

Hague is likely out until after the Olympic break, as Nashville doesn't play from Feb. 6-25. Hague has two goals, nine assists, 54 hits and 37 blocked shots over 41 contests this season. Adam Wilsby will enter the lineup in place of Hague.

  • Golden Knights' Tanner Laczynski: Posts helper

Laczynski recorded an assist and four shots on goal in Friday's 6-3 win over the Maple Leafs.

Laczynski has earned two helpers over five games with the Golden Knights this season. The 28-year-old is up with the big club to provide some center depth, as the team has been trying wingers Mitch Marner and Reilly Smith down the middle in recent weeks. Laczynski has added 11 shots on net, three blocked shots and a plus-1 rating in his time with the big club, which has mostly come on the fourth line.

  • Golden Knights' Braeden Bowman: Finds twine in win

Bowman scored a goal on two shots in Friday's 6-3 win over the Maple Leafs.

Bowman has two goals and two helpers over his last six outings. He's filling a bottom-six role, but he's adjusted to the reduced minutes after beginning his career in a bigger role. The 22-year-old now has seven goals, 18 points, 47 shots on net and a minus-11 rating through 34 appearances.
