Golden Knights' Rasmus Andersson: Picks up helper in Vegas debut
Andersson recorded an assist, three blocked shots, two shots on net and a plus-1 rating in Friday's 6-3 win over the Maple Leafs.
Making his first appearance for the Golden Knights since being acquired from the Flames on Sunday, Andersson was slotted onto a pairing with former Calgary teammate Noah Hanifin and looked comfortable in his new surroundings. Andersson didn't see any power-play time, however, and he may have a hard time dislodging Hanifin or Shea Theodore from their assignments with the man advantage. Andersson had 10 goals and 31 points in 49 games with the Flames prior to the trade, but he might have a hard time matching that scoring pace with the Knights.

Capitals' Aliaksei Protas: Scores first goal since injury
Protas had a goal, three shots on net, one hit and two blocked shots in Friday's 3-1 win over the Flames.
Protas scored the eventual game-winning goal with a wrister at the 7:35 mark of the third period. It marked his 17th goal of the season, and it was the first in eight games since he returned to the lineup from a lower-body injury. He hadn't scored since a defeat to the Senators on Jan. 1.

Golden Knights' Ivan Barbashev: Two helpers in win over Leafs
Barbashev notched two assists in Friday's 6-3 win over Toronto.
The veteran winger took advantage of his assignment alongside the red-hot Jack Eichel and Mark Stone, helping to set up Eichel for a goal early in the first period before assisting Stone for a tally late in the third. It was Barbashev's first multi-point performance in January. He has gone 14 straight games without finding the back of the net himself, but he does have five assists in the last nine contests.

Golden Knights' Jack Eichel: Two-point effort Friday
Eichel scored a goal and added an assist in Friday's 6-3 win over Toronto.
The star center opened the scoring just 66 seconds into the first period, converting a tic-tac-toe passing sequence that Ivan Barbashev started from behind the Toronto net. Eichel has gotten onto the scoresheet in 11 straight games, a stretch in which he's piled up seven goals and 20 points. He's now topped 60 points in four consecutive regular seasons.

Capitals' Alex Ovechkin: Ends scoring drought
Ovechkin scored a goal on six shots in Friday's 3-1 win over the Flames.
Ovechkin had gone five straight games without finding the back of the net, but he ended that slump with an empty-netter late in the game. Even though Ovechkin hasn't been scoring at his regular rate lately, he remains a very productive player for Washington. He has notched 10 points (six goals, four assists) over his last 10 games while adding 33 shots on goal, six PIM and 14 hits in that span.

Golden Knights' Mark Stone: Three points in Friday's win
Stone produced two goals and an assist in Friday's 6-3 win over the Maple Leafs.
After helping to set up Jack Eichel for the game's opening tally early in the first period, Stone provided Vegas with two insurance markers in the third. Stone extended his point streak to 14 games in the process, a stretch in which he's delivered a sizzling 12 goals and 23 points. He has 20 goals and 52 points through 34 appearances this season.

Blues' Pavel Buchnevich: Adds two points in loss
Buchnevich scored a goal, recorded an assist, placed two shots on goal and served two PIM in Friday's 3-2 loss to the Stars.
Buchnevich dished the primary helper on Dalibor Dvorsky's power-play goal before finding twine early in the second period to give St. Louis a 2-1 lead. With Friday's pair of points, Buchnevich is up to nine goals, 18 assists, 87 shots on net, and 24 hits through 51 games this season. While the 30-year-old winger has struggled at times this season, he has four multi-point performances across his last 15 games and ranks second on the team with 27 points. While his overall point total will likely take a dip from last season, he remains on track to finish the year above 50 points, which gives him decent value in various fantasy formats.

Capitals' Logan Thompson: Excellent in win Friday
Thompson stopped 25 of 26 shots in Friday's 3-1 win over the Flames.
Thompson bounced back after three straight losses, allowing one goal or fewer for the first time since Jan. 8 against the Blackhawks. He's lost six of his nine starts in January, going 3-5-1 with a 2.56 GAA and a .910 save percentage. He has been dealing with consistency issues following an excellent start to the season.

Golden Knights' Adin Hill: Cruises to win in Toronto
Hill made 18 saves in Friday's 6-3 win over the Maple Leafs.
The Golden Knights never trailed in the game, with all three of the goals Hill allowed coming in the second period. The 29-year-old netminder has won two of three starts since returning Jan. 15 from a lower-body injury that cost him nearly three months of action. On the season, Hill's gone 3-1-2 in eight outings with a 3.01 GAA and an .871 save percentage.
