  • Golden Knights' Kaedan Korczak: Pockets assist Thursday

Korczak notched an assist, three shots on goal and three hits in Thursday's 4-3 loss to the Bruins.

Korczak has racked up six helpers over 16 games since he last scored a goal. He's mostly seen top-four minutes lately, but with Shea Theodore now healthy and Rasmus Andersson set to make his Vegas debut Friday versus Toronto, Korczak could slip into a less prominent role. He's done well to post a career-high 12 points with 47 shots on net, 76 hits, 71 blocked shots, 16 PIM and a plus-8 rating over 49 appearances so far, but the impending drop in ice time makes him too risky for standard fantasy formats.

  • Tomas Hertl C | LV

Golden Knights' Tomas Hertl: Pots another power-play tally

Hertl scored a power-play goal on nine shots, added four PIM, logged three hits and blocked two shots in Thursday's 4-3 loss to the Bruins.

Hertl has been good lately with six goals and eight assists over his last nine games. He's earned seven power-play points in that span as well. The 32-year-old center is up to 44 points (19 on the power play), 135 shots on net, 60 hits, 31 PIM and 25 blocked shots over 49 appearances while primarily playing in a middle-six role.

  • Golden Knights' Pavel Dorofeyev: Scores in Thursday's loss

Dorofeyev scored a goal on four shots in Thursday's 4-3 loss to the Bruins.

Dorofeyev is hot with five goals and two assists over his last six games. His last two tallies have come at even strength, though he's made a fair amount of noise on the power play throughout the season. The winger is up to 21 goals, 37 points (21 on the power play), 134 shots on net and a minus-7 rating through 49 appearances in a top-six role.

  • Avalanche's Mackenzie Blackwood: Facing Flyers

Blackwood will patrol the home crease versus Philadelphia on Friday, Aarif Deen of Colorado Hockey Now reports.

Blackwood will make his second start since returning from a lower-body injury Jan. 16 after missing six games. Blackwood was beaten up in his start versus Nashville, allowing five goals on 28 shots in a 7-3 home loss. Blackwood is 13-2-1 with a 2.26 GAA and a .917 save percentage for the mighty Avalanche. The Flyers are generating 2.90 goals per game, tied for 21st in the league in 2025-26.

  • Joel Kiviranta LW | COL

Avalanche's Joel Kiviranta: Returning against Flyers

Kiviranta (lower body) will be in action versus Philadelphia on Friday, Aarif Deen of Colorado Hockey Now reports.

Kiviranta returns following a 10-game stint on injured reserve due to his lower-body injury. The 29-year-old winger has scored just once in 21 outings with the Avs this year, but will slot into the bottom six for Ross Colton, who was ruled out with a lower-body problem of his own.

  • Ross Colton C | COL

Avalanche's Ross Colton: Won't play Friday

Colton has been ruled out for Friday's game against Philadelphia due to a lower-body injury, Aarif Dean of Colorado Hockey Now reports.

Colton sustained a lower-body injury late in Wednesday's loss to Anaheim, and he's considered day-to-day. He'll be replaced by Joel Kiviranta (lower body) in Friday's lineup, while Colton's next chance to play will be Sunday in Toronto.

  • Golden Knights' Jaycob Megna: Assigned to AHL

Megna was reassigned to AHL Henderson on Friday.

Megna has played four games with the Golden Knights this season, going minus-5 with six hits and one blocked shot. He had three goals and four assists in 27 AHL games before his recall. The Golden Knights are expected to add Rasmus Andersson to their defensive corps against the Maple Leafs, as his visa issues have been resolved after his trade from Calgary on Jan. 18.

  • Golden Knights' Rasmus Andersson: Playing Friday

Andersson (not injury related) will be in the lineup versus Toronto on Friday.

To clear a spot for Andersson on the NHL roster, the Golden Knights sent Jaycob Megna down to the minors in a corresponding move. In 48 games with the Flames this season, the 29-year-old Andersson has generated 10 goals and 20 helpers, including 10 power-play points. With Vegas, Andersson should remain in the mix for power-play ice time and continue producing offensively.

  • Tanner Jeannot LW | BOS

Bruins' Tanner Jeannot: Finds twine in Thursday's win

Jeannot scored a goal and added two hits in Thursday's 4-3 win over the Golden Knights.

Jeannot snapped a 10-game goal drought with his first-period tally to put the Bruins up 3-0. He missed four games due to an undisclosed injury during that slump. The physical winger has had a strong season with five goals, 19 points, 56 shots on net, 147 hits, 41 PIM, 38 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating over 47 outings, which is already the second-best campaign of his career on offense.

  • Bruins' Charlie McAvoy: Opens scoring on power play

McAvoy scored a power-play goal on four shots, blocked three shots and added two hits in Thursday's 4-3 win over the Golden Knights.

McAvoy sparked a run of three goals in 54 seconds during the middle of the first period. He's had an excellent January, earning three goals and seven assists over 10 contests this month. For the season, the top-pairing defenseman has 30 points (four goals, 26 helpers), 58 shots on net, 50 hits, 76 blocked shots, 36 PIM and a plus-3 rating through 39 outings. That'd be a 60-point pace over a full season, but time lost due to injury will likely limit McAvoy to the 45-50 point range this season if he can stay healthy the rest of the way.
