Peyton Krebs C | BUF
Sabres' Peyton Krebs: Scores, assists in win
Krebs recorded a goal and an assist in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Predators.
Krebs has found the back of the net in two of Buffalo's last three games. However, the 24-year-old doesn't contribute much offensively most of the time. The bottom-six forward has five goals, 19 points, 114 hits and 56 shots on net through 49 appearances this season.

Konsta Helenius C | BUF
Sabres' Konsta Helenius: First three points of career
Helenius scored a goal and recorded two assists in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Predators.
Helenius made his NHL debut on Monday, and it took him only two games to leave his mark on the scoresheet. The 19-year-old winger is currently playing on the third line, but if he adjusts quickly to the pace of the NHL, he could be in line for a bigger role in the second half of the season. He probably won't produce like this regularly, but the 19-year-old is worth monitoring in dynasty formats due to his outstanding potential.

Alex Lyon G | BUF
Sabres' Alex Lyon: Wins in return to action
Lyon stopped 31 of 34 shots in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Predators.
Lyon made his first appearance since Dec. 29 after missing nine games with a lower-body injury and being the backup of Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen on Monday against the Hurricanes. Despite the absence, Lyon continued his superb run with his eighth straight win. During that span, he has posted a 2.32 GAA and an impressive .918 save percentage.

Devon Toews D | COL
Avalanche's Devon Toews: Set to miss homestand
Toews (upper body) will not be available for the Avalanche's next two games, Evan Rawal of the Denver Gazette reports Wednesday.
Toews is reportedly getting close to making his return, but he's unlikely to be an option for Wednesday's game against Anaheim and Friday's matchup against Philadelphia. The blueliner has already missed seven games due to his upper-body injury. Prior to his absence, Toews had a 15-game goal drought during which he generated five assists, 33 shots and 25 blocks.

Joel Kiviranta LW | COL
Avalanche's Joel Kiviranta: Targeting Friday return
Head coach Jared Bednar said Wednesday that he hopes Kiviranta (lower body) will be able to return for Friday's game against the Flyers, Evan Rawal of the Denver Gazette reports.
Kiviranta remains on injured reserve and has missed the last nine games. However, it appears he's closing in on a return to action. If he's able to suit up for Friday's matchup, that would allow him to appear in NHL games for nearly two weeks leading up to the Olympic break. Kiviranta has made 21 appearances for the Avalanche this year, recording a goal, three assists, 30 hits and six PIM while averaging 9:29 of ice time.

Jayden Struble D | MON
Canadiens' Jayden Struble: Contributes assist in win
Struble logged an assist and four hits in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Wild.
Struble had been out of the lineup for four of the last five games, and he'd gone five contests without a point. The 24-year-old has three assists over 18 appearances since the start of December. Struble is at seven helpers, 12 shots on net, 69 hits, 36 PIM, 17 blocked shots and a minus-1 rating over 37 appearances this season. With the Canadiens' blue line at full strength, Struble and Arber Xhekaj are most often competing for one spot in the lineup.

Kaiden Guhle D | MON
Canadiens' Kaiden Guhle: Nabs first assist since return
Guhle notched an assist, two shots on goal and two hits in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Wild.
Guhle was sidelined for 39 games due to a groin injury, and his helper Tuesday was his first point in five appearances since he returned. He's at three points, 13 shots on net, 11 PIM, 22 hits, 10 blocked shots and a minus-1 rating over 10 contests. Guhle will likely be in the lineup a majority of the time, though he was scratched once since he returned to help manage his workload.

Alexandre Carrier D | MON
Canadiens' Alexandre Carrier: Scores again in win
Carrier scored a goal on five shots in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Wild.
Carrier has four goals over his last five games. The 29-year-old defenseman isn't known for his offense, but he's finding ways to contribute from a bottom-four role on the blue line. He's up to five goals, 16 points, 40 shots on net, 113 blocked shots, 22 hits, 20 PIM and a minus-3 rating across 50 appearances this season. Carrier looks to be a fixture in the lineup thanks to his shutdown skills.
