Barrett Hayton C | UTA
Mammoth's Barrett Hayton: Fills empty cage
Hayton scored an empty-net goal on two shots in Saturday's 6-3 win over the Kraken.
Hayton ended a month-long goal drought, a span in which he still chipped in six assists and a plus-7 rating over 13 games. The 25-year-old has mostly played in a middle-six role lately, as he hasn't been consistent enough to bump Nick Schmaltz from the top-line center job. Hayton is now at five goals, 14 points, 71 shots on net, 32 PIM, 22 blocked shots, 15 hits and a plus-4 rating across 44 outings.

Nick Schmaltz C | UTA
Mammoth's Nick Schmaltz: Nets goal Saturday
Schmaltz scored a goal on three shots and went plus-2 in Saturday's 6-3 win over the Kraken.
Schmaltz's hot January continues -- he has six goals and five assists over nine outings this month. The 29-year-old put the Mammoth up 3-1 in the second period, and while that lead didn't last, the team's strong third period was enough for the win. Schmaltz is up to 18 goals, 44 points, 118 shots on net, 31 blocked shots and a plus-12 rating over 49 appearances. His career highs of 23 goals and 63 points are both likely to be bested this season if he stays healthy, despite him being on track for his worst power-play year since 2022-23.

Andrei Vasilevskiy G | TB
Lightning's Andrei Vasilevskiy: In goal Sunday
Vasilevskiy will defend the road net against Dallas on Sunday.
Vasilevskiy is coming off a 19-save effort in Friday's 3-2 shootout loss to St. Louis. He has a 19-7-3 record with a 2.26 GAA, a .914 save percentage and one shutout through 29 appearances in the 2025-26 campaign. Dallas is tied for eighth in the league this season with 3.31 goals per game.

Jean-Gabriel Pageau C | NYI
Islanders' Jean-Gabriel Pageau: Lights lamp in Saturday's loss
Pageau scored a goal on two shots and added three hits in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Flames.
Pageau has two goals over his last four games, compared to a 19-game goal drought before that in which he logged just four assists. The veteran center is up to eight goals, 18 points, 40 shots on net, 55 hits, 38 blocked shots and an even plus-minus rating over 40 appearances this season. Pageau remains in a second-line role in the absence of Bo Horvat (lower body).

Anders Lee LW | NYI
Islanders' Anders Lee: Scores late in loss
Lee scored a goal on five shots and added two hits in Saturday's 4-2 loss to the Flames.
Lee tallied with 2:56 left in the third period while the Islanders had an extra attacker. It didn't spark a late comeback, but the goal ended a nine-game span in which Lee was limited to just one assist and 22 shots on net. The 35-year-old winger's recent inconsistency is part of a larger trend of shaky scoring for the Islanders. He's at 11 goals, 27 points, 120 shots on net, 42 hits, 25 PIM, 24 blocked shots and a plus-4 rating across 48 appearances.

Nazem Kadri C | COL
Flames' Nazem Kadri: Gets on scoresheet with helper
Kadri registered an assist and two shots on goal in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Islanders.
Kadri's still in a 13-game goal drought, a span in which he has two assists, 24 shots on net and a minus-9 rating. The 35-year-old remains in a top-six role, but his fortunes have soured after he was one of the few productive players for the Flames in the first half of the campaign. Overall, Kadri is at eight goals, 25 assists, 137 shots on net, 29 hits and a minus-18 rating through 48 appearances.

Yan Kuznetsov D | CGY
Flames' Yan Kuznetsov: Pots goal in Saturday's win
Kuznetsov scored a goal in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Islanders.
Kuznetsov ended a six-game point drought with the tally. The 23-year-old defenseman has proven himself capable in his own zone, but there still isn't a lot of offense in his game. He's at four goals, five assists, 35 shots on net, 46 hits, 53 blocked shots, 22 PIM and a minus-4 rating through 34 appearances. Kuznetsov could take on a larger role in the event Rasmus Andersson is traded, though Andersson's power-play minutes are more likely to go to Hunter Brzustewicz or Zayne Parekh in the long run.

Nick Suzuki C | MON
Canadiens' Nick Suzuki: Power-play success continues in win
Suzuki dished out two assists, put three shots on net and recorded two hits in Saturday's 6-5 overtime win over Ottawa.
Both of Suzuki's helpers Saturday came on power plays in the first period, and his 27 power-play points are tied for third in the league. The 26-year-old center is up to 39 assists, 54 points, 106 shots on goal, 37 hits and 40 blocks through 49 games this season, ranking 20th in blocks among forwards. Suzuki is well above the necessary pace to record his third consecutive season with more than 75 points, making him a staple for fantasy lineups in any league format.
-
Justin Kirkland LW | CGY
Flames' Justin Kirkland: Gets first goal of campaign
Kirkland scored a goal and blocked two shots in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Islanders.
The goal was Kirkland's first of the season, and it stood as his first career game-winner. He's up to two points, eight shots on net, 22 hits and a minus-1 rating over 16 appearances. Kirkland plays on the fourth line when he's not a healthy scratch, and on a low-scoring team, that's not a fantasy-friendly role.

Yegor Sharangovich C | CGY
Flames' Yegor Sharangovich: Tallies opening goal in win
Sharangovich scored a goal on three shots in Saturday's 4-2 win over the Islanders.
Sharangovich stayed hot, earning his second goal and fifth point over the last three games. He tallied the opening goal at 11:51 of the first period. The 27-year-old forward now has 10 goals, 19 points, 81 shots on net and a minus-13 rating across 44 appearances. He should remain productive as long as he's able to hold onto a top-six role.
