Michael DiPietro G | BOS
Bruins' Michael DiPietro: Earns shutout over Cleveland
DiPietro recorded a 21-save shutout in AHL Providence's 5-0 win over Cleveland on Saturday.
This was DiPietro's fifth win in his last six outings, and it's also his first shutout of the season. He's now at a 15-5-0 record with a 1.74 GAA and a .938 save percentage over 21 appearances. If the Bruins grow tired of Joonas Korpisalo in the backup role, DiPietro could be ready for a longer look at the NHL level, where he hasn't played since 2021-22.

Jackson Smith D | CLB
Blue Jackets' Jackson Smith: Collects three points
Smith scored a goal and added two assists in Penn State's 6-3 win over the University of Notre Dame on Saturday.
Smith has done a decent job in his first NCAA season with 14 points in 20 outings this season. The Blue Jackets prospect is establishing himself quickly as a freshman. The 14th overall pick in 2025 will need some more development time, and he should be a steady source of offense from the blue line in the future.

Colton Sissons C | LV
Golden Knights' Colton Sissons: Missing time with injury
Sissons isn't playing Saturday versus the Predators because of an upper-body injury, Hannah Kirkell of Vegas Hockey Now reports.
Sissons also missed Thursday's game versus the Maple Leafs, presumably for the same reason. He is considered day-to-day, but it's unlikely Vegas will provide any official update on his status until he's ready to return.

Kristian Epperson LW | LA
Kings' Kristian Epperson: Goal, assist in win Saturday
Epperson scored a goal and added an assist in the University of Denver's 3-2 win over the University of North Dakota on Saturday.
Epperson is up to seven goals and 12 points over 25 appearances in his first collegiate season. He had 80 points in 58 regular-season outings with OHL Saginaw last year, but he's struggled to adapt to the NCAA despite playing for a strong team. The Kings prospect still has plenty of time to develop, and the 19-year-old will likely use up most or all of his NCAA eligibility.

James Hagens C | BOS
Bruins' James Hagens: Records three helpers Saturday
Hagens notched three assists in Boston College's 4-3 loss to Providence College on Saturday.
Hagens is up to 10 goals and 14 helpers through 19 appearances for BC this season. The Bruins prospect should continue to provide dynamic offense as a playmaker. The sophomore forward is proving himself at the NCAA level, though it's not yet clear when he'll join the professional ranks.

Ivan Ryabkin C | CAR
Hurricanes' Ivan Ryabkin: Erupts in second junior game
Ryabkin scored a goal and added four assists in QMJHL Charlottetown's 6-3 win over Halifax on Saturday.
Ryabkin was playing in just his second game since being reassigned to Charlottetown from AHL Chicago. The Russian forward has already made a good impression. He had seven points in 25 outings with Chicago, but he should greatly benefit in production after moving down a level.

Vladimir Tarasenko RW | MIN
Wild's Vladimir Tarasenko: Two points Saturday
Tarasenko produced a goal and an assist in Saturday's 5-4 overtime win over the Sabres.
The veteran winger matched his point total from his prior 12 games combined, helping to set up Marcus Foligno for the game's opening tally in the first period before finding the back of the net himself in the second. Tarasenko is up to nine goals and 23 points in 42 games on the season, putting him slightly ahead of the career-worst pace he managed in 2024-25 (33 points in 80 games) with the Red Wings.
-
Brett Howden C | LV
Golden Knights' Brett Howden: Unavailable Saturday
Howden (lower body) won't play Saturday versus Nashville, per Jesse Granger of The Athletic.
Howden also missed the Golden Knights' previous three games due to the injury. He has nine goals and 15 points in 39 outings in 2025-26. With Howden and Colton Sissons (upper body) unavailable, Tanner Laczynski and Alexander Holtz will be in Saturday's lineup.
-
Kirill Kaprizov LW | MIN
Wild's Kirill Kaprizov: Pockets three helpers in OT win
Kaprizov notched three assists, one on the power play, in Saturday's 5-4 overtime win over the Sabres.
After having a hand in tallies by Ryan Hartman in the first period and Quinn Hughes in the second, Kaprizov set up Mats Zuccarello for the OT winner. Kaprizov has delivered four three-point performances in the last 17 games, a stretch in which the superstar winger has seven goals and 21 points.

Chris Kreider LW | ANA
Ducks' Chris Kreider: Still out Saturday
Kreider (illness) won't play Saturday versus the Kings, Zach Cavanagh of The Sporting Tribune reports.
Considering this illness appears to have hit Kreider pretty hard, it's no surprise he'll miss both halves of a home-and-home with the Kings. The 34-year-old winger will aim to be healthy enough for Monday's contest versus his former team, the Rangers.
